Hi everyone,
I am writing this to alert the community about YoBit.net and their irresponsible handling of user accounts. They are currently withholding my assets (approx. 0.1 BTC and other altcoins) by refusing to disable a 2FA lock, even though I have provided 100% irrefutable proof of ownership.
The Case:
My account (cocacola757) is an old account from 2018. I lost my 2FA device and secret key. When I contacted YoBit support, they dismissed me with a generic "No KYC" response. However, KYC was not mandatory in 2018, and I have the blockchain records to prove I am the sole owner of this account.
My Evidence (Unmatchable Proof):
1. Official Withdrawal Confirmation from YoBit (April 30, 2018):
I have the original email from YoBit confirming a successful withdrawal of 1.78894785 BTC. This proves I had full control and authorization over this account.
https://i.ibb.co/zWVj5KZh/IMG-4222.png
2. Blockchain TxID Record:
The withdrawal transaction is verified on the blockchain. Only the legitimate account owner would have access to this specific transaction history.
• Transaction ID (TxID): 0b5dae73a6fb4e82acbb08e67a1d7a9892a53e22cd61d7d539239fc572f543d9
• Amount: 1.78894785 BTC
https://i.ibb.co/jvQ4PP7Y/IMG-4225.png
3. Binance Receipt Confirmation:
I have proof that this exact 1.78894785 BTC was received by my Binance account at the same time. The perfect match between YoBit's withdrawal and Binance's deposit is absolute evidence.
https://i.ibb.co/wrj5cJ2X/IMG-4223.jpg
4. Initial Registration Email:
I still hold the original registration email from 2018, proving the account’s origin.
https://i.ibb.co/LdPSgPMZ/IMG-4186.png
5. YoBit's Unprofessional & Contradictory Responses:
Despite providing all the above, YoBit support keeps sending automated replies claiming I have "no KYC" and "no records." This is a blatant lie and a move to seize my remaining balance illegally.
https://i.ibb.co/j98vCrCd/IMG-6956.png
Conclusion:
By ignoring these clear technical and historical proofs, YoBit is effectively stealing my funds. If they can ignore a user with this level of evidence, no user is safe on their platform.
YoBit Support, I am a professional technician and a disciplined investor. I will not remain silent. I demand you to act professionally and disable the 2FA on my account immediately so I can regain access.

They are still operating right with the same ownership?
Well, they have a long story with some clear issues with their users (just to mention coin with fake tickers).

Are you able to sign a message or prove ownership with binance? This could be the only way to get back your account.
Pay attention, a similar issue in Italy with a "famous" exchange has delareid totally... it's not easy to get back these funds, I would just reach a lawyer...

Thank you for your valuable advice, bitbollo. I am currently reaching out to Binance to get formal confirmation of that transaction. Regarding 'signing a message', I am checking my old wallet records from 2018 to see if I can still perform that. I will update the thread as soon as I have more evidence. YoBit cannot keep ignoring these technical facts.

I didn't know even Yobit crapchange added kyc verification, but I am not surprised they don't care about their customers.
Even on more reputable exchanges you could have issue with trying to reset 2FA, they could interpret that as someone trying to hack your account.
Is Yobit support still communicating with your in any way?

YoBit Support, I am a professional technician and a disciplined investor. I will not remain silent. I demand you to act professionally and disable the 2FA on my account immediately so I can regain access.
They haven't been active here for years (and even when they were, result was their account getting tagged and flagged for scam) so little can be done by this thread, other than serve as a warning for anyone who still keeps their crypto on Yobit or any other centralized exchange.
Anyway, I hope you get your money out eventually.

Even on more reputable exchanges you could have issue with trying to reset 2FA, they could interpret that as someone trying to hack your account.
I had the same issue on Binance many years ago, when my mobile phone suddenly and unexpectedly died, while I couldn't find those recovery codes. Luckily, things were sorted fast, but it cost me a full KYC.

Since you have had an account on Yobit since 2018, are you fully aware of their status in the industry over all these years? There was a time when this section was full of accusations against Yobit, and they launched and even tried to launch more campaigns here.
I have not heard of anyone who received their funds after issues with their account, but since a large amount is involved, I also encourage you to hire a lawyer and let him handle this case. A lawyer who is familiar with this kind of case.

@OP, they're a known terrible exchange. I thought that they were gone out of business.
I'll be frank with you that there's a little chance that you'll be able to get your money from them.
And on the better side of it is that you're able to withdraw the bigger amount than that's pending on your request.

For around 0.1BTC that's pending, he might spend more than that and still don't win against yobit.

Thank you bitbollo, dkbit98, Rikafip, and robelneo for your support. Having four Legendary members here shows how serious this issue is.
To robelneo: I am aware of the risks, but I believe in justice. This is not a small amount, and l am prepared to take legal action if YoBit continues to ignore these technical facts.
[CRITICAL UPDATEJ IRREFUTABLE VIDEO PROOF:
I have recorded a live video of my Binance account to prove ownership and the transaction matching
YoBit's records.
1. Opening Binance live to show it's not a static image.
2. Navigating to the deposit history of April 30, 2018.
3. Matching the exact 1.78894785 BTC and TXID:

This kind of proofs should be validated in a certain way. I can't confirm that your video has not somehow edited or any other major falls...
I don't know if their ToS has a specific instruction for those cases but I would suggest also to keep it all private Roll Eyes ... try to reach them and ask to a lawyer.
Proving account ownership (for what I have seen) doesn't seems straight as it could be appear in a first glance.

can you reupload the screenshots to talkimg.com in a better resolution? the ones in the OP are unreadable.

it baffles me how YoBit is still operating after all these years? almost everyone knows they are a scam exchange.
they scam people for even less amounts let alone 0.1 btc, i'm sorry OP but that money is as good as gone, they will just keep giving you excuses.

To robelneo: I am aware of the risks, but I believe in justice. This is not a small amount, and l am prepared to take legal action if YoBit continues to ignore these technical facts.
not to be pessimistic, but legal action against sites like YoBit is kinda useless, they are an unregulated exchange incorporated under a shell company in panama.
assuming you go after them and you get a ruling against them, they will just move to another offshore country and ignore it.
