The April 1st joke was good, but you should have made the story more believable so that more people would believe it, and you should have added more excitement and suspense to it.

It's hard to believe that someone would buy 104 bitcoins, forget about it, then remember and start searching through their old belongings and stumble upon it by chance. That's a rather unbelievable story, and it's made worse by the fact that you mentioned the exact contents of the wallet in a privacy-focused forum.

Most people will just find posts like dis difficult to believe. Lots of people that creates posts like this are just always looking for attention because most of them are fake, their is no evidence that what the OP is saying is real, it’s just a write up which everyone can decide to come up with. If it’s true i feel the OP would have looked for the hardware wallet even before now, but let’s just assume what the OP is saying is true. The OP will be fucking rich right now, and I don’t know for how long he will be hiding the news from his family members.

For every expensive thoughts like this that I come across by people about bitcoin, even if the odds does not looks favorable for the person to be honest with what they’re saying, I still give them some benefits of doubts to some extent to at least think that what they’re saying is actually true and some iota of it can mean they’ve really changed their life all of a sudden. Anything like this can happen, so sometimes it is better to be positive than to look for faults to disputes the person’s claim. It may be April Fools day, what a coincidence. I wish him all the best if it’s true actually and if it’s not, happy April Fool’s day to him too.

I was just expecting how a huge amount of Bitcoin could still remain in a hardware wallet when everything was sold by him and Dad, that was the clearer point I know this story isn't real. What now input this huge amount when you and Dad regretted over selling everything, because a little buy back after a heavy regret won't be forgotten and ignore even in a story..

Haha, he should have reduced the font size a little more. Anyway, he shouldn't be this happy even if he had found real Bitcoin. USD is still the best out there. And why did he choose 104 Bitcoin? Haha, he could have chosen any number, he tried to trick us, but in the wrong way.

By the way, I'm not a scammer, just so you know. If I ever announce that I have actually found a stash that I never bought, I won't waste any time sharing it here, maybe not the exact amount, but I might not resist sharing it haha.

I still can not even process if  I am dreaming or not, because it feels so much like a dream.

You better not wake up else, you’ll be met with a world in chaos, so much shit show that you’ll realize you’ve failed yourself after winning. The life now is in dreamland, live it the dream way man.

Then when it went up to over $300+, we sold it thinking we had already made a huge ton of money, which was really a lot then, looking at it based on the ROI.

But to our greatest surprise, Bitcoin just kept rising up to what it is today. It was really one of the biggest financial mistakes we have ever made, but we just had to move on from it.

I wonder who’s idea it was to sell though, perhaps it was the same you, that did advice on the buy maybe and how did your dad react to this.

I did not even know how to react. I closed it and open it again just to be sure I was not seeing things.

The normal procedure to ensure blockchain verification and acknowledgement of your found coin is to send some dust to some random wallets and reach out for the huge transactions, there’s a wallet for those too.

I got invested too much in the story I was about to congratulate you at the end because things like could happen and very possible but you said it was April fools LOL.
Was a little frowning as well because I know there have been some people doing things like for the sake of attention and not a joke, but this is a good one OP.
