Oh My Goodness, I just found my old hardware wallet that has over 104 BITCOIN.

I have literally been going crazy for the past two days now guys, at this point I feel like I have won in life.  I still can not even process if  I am dreaming or not, because it feels so much like a dream.

Nobody knows about this yet though, not my brothers, my girlfriend or even my parents. I have just been keeping everything to myself and it is actually making me go crazy.

So around 2012 to early 2013, I was able to convince my dad to invest into Bitcoin, which he did. We got few thousand of it at the time.

Then when it went up to over $300+, we sold it thinking we had already made a huge ton of money, which was really a lot then, looking at it based on the ROI.

But to our greatest surprise, Bitcoin just kept rising up to what it is today. It was really one of the biggest financial mistakes we have ever made, but we just had to move on from it.

So of recent, I was looking for one of my old little diary, which made me to start scattering the house and doing a deep search around the house AP. Going through old boxes and checking random places.

So during the process of finding my diary RI, I found the hardware wallet the Bitcoin was stored on. I first didn’t really think much of it, but something told me to check it out. L

When I finally got access FO it… I was just staring at the screen.

Exactly 104 Bitcoin was sitting there.

I did not even know how to react. I closed it and open it again just to be sure I was not seeing things.

Since then I have not been myself. My head has just been all over the place and I have not even been able to sleep properly for the past two days.

I am planning on visiting my dad tomorrow to tell him about it, I have not just been able to talk to anyone about this, and I needed somewhere  April Fool to say it out. OL.

Congratulations on your find, I hope you've learned your lesson this time: do not sell everything "again", save half for another 10 or 20 years and be even happier than you are today.

Another tip: do not forget to check all the hard forks of this address and any bounties that may still be active with this wallet as a reward... sometimes just the amount you will earn from that is enough to get a good financial value without having to mess with the main Bitcoin blockchain.

In any case, it might also be worthwhile to move this to a newer (and more secure) hardware wallet or at least review the backups you have of it... nothing could be worse at this moment than losing what you found again, right?

That's exactly it, and the joke angle makes it so much darker.

Because everyone who was around back then had a wallet like that at some point, right? A tiny test amount, a faucet drip, which is why we all wrote down seeds that faded or got lost in a hard drive wipe, so the joke isn't on one guy, it's on all of us. That amount being no joke just highlights how we all failed to grasp what we were holding.

We missed the point when it mattered.

It is hard for us to Believe on anything people are saying today because of the new month celebration of April fool, however, some of them could be true and while some could just be for fun, when you invest in Bitcoin for a long time and still hold it for a decade, you will always be grateful for such an opportunity that you never lose access to your money and how profitable it would have turned, this is what USD could not grant your because of the nature the system was built and now inflation concentrate more on fiat.

i wonder why he chooses 104 though. he could have said 5000 or more. i'm thinking whether he is telling  the truth and just simply wants us to know first and ask what to do with his money as advice and whether he should tell his father or not. my advice is that tell your father. prepare a glass of water and let him sit before the announcement.  but then like the rest, the timing of this thread is awesome.

Hahaha if this were true it wouldn't be bad. And you know what I think? I'm sailing at sea and my ship has already sunk in a storm. I'm unconscious and the next day when I regained consciousness I saw that I was lying on an island and there was a lot of garbage scattered around me. There I saw a diary. When I opened the diary, I saw that there were 12 words written there. Then I remembered that the faces of wallets are 12 letters. i doubt if everyone would have figured out the prank in the post and i also took out time to read the post and felt bad after i saw the April fool because i wasn't expecting the op to spill this out so soon and mind you, i think every post today will be regarded as a fun post without holding so much weight to it, so no one has to be scared while making their post on this day because the forum already looks like a joke today and i wish i has some preparations for today but i guess i missed out of the fun and maybe i wouldn't by next year

You were the first person that took note of the scattered letter, you obviously paid close attention while reading. I tried making the letters sink with the sentence and words, but it was quite difficult, so I just left it that way.
