We thank all the community members who have maintained Bitcoin Purple to this day, and especially the miners. You are doing a great job. Thank you to everyone who is creating websites, listing, and mining.

Bitcoin Purple is a Bitcoin fork that uses the same cryptographic algorithms for transactions, ensuring proven security and reliability. However, Bitcoin Purple stands out with its average block time of just 1 minute, allowing for significantly faster transaction validation compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes.

Currently, 0.25 BTCP is being mined per block, and 754,785 of the total 1,000,000 have already been mined. We are progressing. One of the victories is that Bitcoin Purple has been around since 2023/2024. I was part of the beginning of BTCP, I was absent from the project for a while to see how the community would react and to test it over time. Bitcoin Purple continues, independent of any person; it does not depend on any one individual.

Useful information.

We are raising funds through donations for listing on cryptocurrency exchanges. Most exchanges use P2P directly, but there are individuals outside the tech bubble and the community who only buy from exchanges. Listing on trusted exchanges will be a huge leap. In the past, we have listed on lesser-known exchanges, but this wasn't very viable due to scam issues. Therefore, we encourage community members to continue using P2P and create their own exchanges, their own cryptocurrency trading apps and software, and buy and sell products and services using P2P. I, along with some community members, am working on building a simplified exchange platform, with a projected launch at the end of 2026 if all goes well.
