First of all, I must apologise for posting such a serious topic on the 1st of April, but I've had it as a draft for a while and today is the day.
Tonight, I would like to bring what in some circles has been recognised as 'hidden epidemic' - Neurotoxicity caused by excess of Vitamin B6.
Don't get it wrong - Vitamin B6 is absolutely crucial, but the RDA is just 1.3mg and the half life is
about a MONTH!. So your body doesn't get rid of the excess as efficiently as with other water-soluble vitamins.
Now where it gets interesting: many multivitamin supplements contain 100mg of B6 per a pill, which is almost a hundred times more than RDA! Furthermore, many foods and drinks are fortified with vitamins nowadays, which usually includes B6. Usually that would be cereals, protein bars and powders, electrolyte drinks and energy drinks and more.
I've been dealing with B6 toxicity for months (and unknowingly - for years) and as I've been researching the matter I was astonished by how many people are affected by it, and whas is even more scary -
how many don't even know that their symptoms are caused by it Australia seems to be the only nation to be seriously alarmed by it so far as I've not seen any other states to take actions but we can see the Aussies are feeling very serious about it:

A growing number of consumers are presenting with symptoms linked to high levels of vitamin B6, pathologists say, while the supplement industry goes unpolicedVitamin B6 toxicity is more likely to develop among dehydrated individuals, which means people who sweat a lot or drink too much water without adequate sodium intake are seriously at risk.
Many cases of so-called ''Long COVID" turned out to be B6 toxicity that was asymptomatically present before the acute respiratory disease and started manifesting after severe dehydration caused by the severe respiratory infection.
Remember, health is the ultimate wealth. If you take multivitamin supplements, consume protein bars or shakes, drink energy or sports drinks - count how much vitamin B6 you consume daily and if it has been significantly above the RDA, maybe you should get your levels in blood tested.
