Wanted to introduce a new project we’ve been working on called
Perbug.
Perbug is a
Bitcoin-style SHA-256 coin, but the bigger idea behind it is something we’re calling
Proof of Exploration.
The concept is simple:
Perbug is an experiment around connecting a real blockchain asset to
real-world exploration. Instead of making the whole project only about mining and trading, we want to explore ways people can actually
go places, discover locations, interact with the world, and earn Perbug through location-based gameplay and exploration mechanics.
This is still an
experiment, and we’re being open about that.
We’re building it out in public, testing ideas, and seeing how far the concept can go.
What Perbug is:- Bitcoin-style coin
- SHA-256 based
- focused on a “Proof of Exploration” idea
- intended to connect blockchain rewards with location-based discovery
- experimental and actively being developed
What Proof of Exploration means for us:The long-term vision is that users explore the real world, visit locations, interact with map-based game mechanics, and claim Perbug as part of that process. We think that’s a fun direction compared to another coin that only exists to sit on an exchange chart.
