Anyone invested in this or at least know of it?

Looking for a new altcoin in the current top 100 to invest in while these prices are near the bottom.

Only $350m market cap and 70% of its supply in circulation so pretty good tokenomics.

Currently down 95% from its $1 all time high so feels like a good time to get in as feel it will get back to that $1 high in next bull run.

The coin all-time high is $1.145 but it is presently at $0.0517 which is quite unfortunate like other coins and many other tokens. You can buy the coin but know that altcoins can be so disappointing. This coin may never get to all-time high again but I can be very wrong. In short, the altcoins are gambling. Many of them are not getting to all-time high but you may still see them get to 5 to 10x and later be falling. Just know that you are only gambling if you buy such coin but it might give you some profit maybe but the coin may not get to $1.

The risk is more with altcoins yes, but much more reward too. Depends on your risk level and for me I like Bitcoin, but like to have risk too.

I have seen altcoins pump 10x in less than a month, for Bitcoin to now 10x it will take 5-10 years.

Yeah I've heard of it and it seems like it's one of those ones that's gonna die after a couple of years.  If you really wanna park your money somewhere just be safe and buy BTC.  But if you really wanna take a little bit of risk then I'd say buy some HYPE.  It's one of the newer projects that looks like it has a bright future in front of it.  The rest don't really looks good...

Have you seen Monad?  Oof, I thought it was one of the ones that was gonna make it.  I think they botched their launch and got it on too late.

You don't know its going to die after couple years. It could do but it could also 100x in the next few years, that's what comes with altcoins.

Im not planning to invest much so doesn't make any sense for me to buy Bitcoin. Bitcoin is for those with decent amounts of money who are happy to wait 5 years to see 500% return.

Not interested in Hype personally have just had a brief look it is a $9b market cap and tokenomics not as good as Sei so id rather take the risk with Sei as has potential for better returns.

Market is not good enough to gamble on alts bro. If i were you, i would stay away from the market temporary. Other than that, you know the more SEI is getting unlocked everyday. It will be expected to be last for the next years, which i think it's not worthy to invest on it.

I also remind you how SEI TVL has been dropping very hard, which mean it gets less and less demand. If you wanna buy it for degen purpose, it's up to you.

However, if you're thinking for the long term steady growth, the better to choost other alt. You can argue there may be a pump in the future, but who knows they will be running out the funds, then cease their blockchain. Think about that.

Sei is indeed a good network but when compared to SUI, SUI is much better, I never own SEI because I just don't like this project, I have many other candidates to invest from SEI, if compared it is better to own SUI or Hyperliqui and even more XRP in my opinion because the fundamentals are better. I only knew it but never invested on it. Look on how much it has got for its all time high and if you do think if it can still recover. It needs 20x for it to be back to $1. Not that a lot compared to other high memecoins and altcoins that needs more than 50x. But you do you, if you think that it's a good buy, do you think that it's going to recover? because many of these altcoins were never seen any signs of recovery when the bull run has come again.

Sei is one of those pump-and-dump coins judging from how the price of the coin went so fast high at the early time and dumped down like a pack of cake shows have this shirtcoins behave and should not be treated as long term assets to hold and if you must involve with them, it must be for speculation and gambling sake and not for investment, sei at this point should be avoided.

I always thought of Sei as cheap Sui knock off imho, maybe it's just my opinion but even their blockchain aren't looking really good. Do you ever see anyone uses the blockchain? i haven't.
Check this out https://defillama.com/chain/sei . Weak metrics, no real utilization and I think @Odusko is right, it's another pump and dump coins that doesn't really matter after TGE.

There are simply tons of other altcoin that's better and miles ahead.

I just think at $350m market cap it has a lot of room to grow and those saying about the unlocks coming next few years, yes that’s right but almost 70% is already out which is pretty good.

I’m not sure how long we have of these low prices for alts but once better times return I wouldn’t be surprised if it does well.

You're right, I don't know.  But what I do know is there's less of a chance it has to go 100x because that window of opportunity is now gone.  Alts usually have the greatest chance of doing a 100x at the cycle where it was launched.  SEI at the next bull market will be in the project's second cycle.  Usually these things get less interesting for traders as there are newer and better projects coming out.

But sure, you could be right.  If you wanna hold SEI and wait for that 100x, go ahead.

And with HYPE. if you trade perps it could be good to trade their via trade.xyz, Ventuals and the other HIP 3 protocols.  Could give some good airdrops.

I saw an altcoin at the end of 2024 do 60x in a few months and it’s been around for 8 years so I don’t agree only new altcoins can 100x.

I will see, if it falls down low enough next month or so then I will start buying it but for now I will just keep an eye on it.

^  I also didn't say that it's impossible.  I just said that it's less likely to happen now compared to the ones we've seen during the time when projects were launched during the past cycles.  Think about how many projects were launched during 2022 - 2025.  Lots of L1 projects fighting for a spot but most of them never really had caught on like how Ethereum and Solana did.

Think of 100x's like one of those 12 leg parlays.  They are long shots that need way more luck than you think.  So if you have only one bet to get that 100x, in this case SEI, then there's a higher chance you'll lose than win.  Maybe divide your port by 10 and place 10 bets on 10 different projects which you think could 100x.

Don't be too confident about a particular coin soaring to a high price, they can fail to do so, and then you will be disappointed. I remember that I invested in this sei, last year when the price was at $0.19. I anticipated that the price would at least give a new ATH last year. Did it achieve that? To go above the $1.145 ATH it has had in March last 2 years?
