I did visit my favorite land base casino here in our country. After being out and not playing for half a year, me and my mates decided to play again. So there is this excitement to me that I will again entering that casino. And so we play on my favorite games, which is roulette, in the beginning it was just so-so for me, up and down. Then suddenly I hit my zone and winning 4 straight games with a single number. So may bankroll of $60 turn into ~$200 so I'm in the roll.

Then suddenly, I decided to go and take a closer look on the spins, mind you, it was a busy roulette table a lot of bettors and a lot of money in the line. So I don't want to lose my good position right opposite the roulette. But I want to see how it will be and so I go on the side to witnessed the ball spinning. However, this is the first time that I have seen this, I was surprised "when the ball suddenly dropped while the roulette was spinning." And so the dealer call the boss and she pick it up and spin again, and the number that it dropped, only few bettors have place a bet on it. I didn't win, but I was really disturb by it, first time in my 15++ years of playing roulette that a ball for unknown reason drop and it got me thinking that if there are unforseen forces that really push the ball out like a magnet.

Lost that one and the next one, so I decided to stop as again, something might not be right as if someone is controlling it, or maybe it's just me.

Any one witnessed any crazy things in the casino lately?

There are many means that gambling sites can use to manipulate the roulette table in a way that they will be the one controlling the pill or the pill landing on the numbers that they wish, but for the roulette pill to fall out of the casino table, that is just a mistake from the person that is spinning the table and dropping the pill, or maybe it is the material used for the pill that caused it.

If something like that happened, the casino will declared all the bet void in a way the casino and the bettors do not lose money. The casino may also check the pill to make sure that nothing happened. They will check what that could have possibly caused it or maybe it was just the force the person that spilled the table used.

First thing that I have heard this. I was just thinking,

a. dealer might throw a fast ball in this one
b. it was so fast that it hit the corner of the metal (not sure what do you call that one), causing the ball to go out

But yes, this I do agree that this is not common, but with the law of physics, it can happen at random.

There’s some unforeseen scenario like and on some event the ball stuck on wheel fret. Since the ball is manually being spin on the wheel there’s a chance that it will throw out if placed improperly on a spinning wheel.

But it’s rare for that to happened and I agree to your speculation that magnet and other disturbances can be improvised to alter the result.

This is also being speculate on wheels like evolution live games crazy times that there might be a break at the back that stop the wheel prematurely. But all this is just speculation which we as bettor will need to deal if we want to gamble for that specific game.

Honestly, I feel like there could be something off with that, like they might be controlling where it drops. Normally, it follows a certain pattern and doesn’t just drop that quickly like what you saw.

If it’s not being controlled, then maybe there’s something wrong with the machine itself. I can’t really say my guess is accurate since I’m not into land-based casinos that much. Most of my gambling is online, and I barely play slots anyway because of the high house edge.

This got me thinking, though I have never heard of this before, but it could happen elsewhere as a result of some technical fault from whoever spun the dice. It could be that it was intentional by the casinos as planned to disrupt the gaming session, which is such a stunt to get them distracted while they have a way to do what they want in their favour, so they could get more profit, and nobody understands what happened there because they were distracted by just a mere dice falling out from the roulette board and that is just it and they have their way. If I were on that casino, I would take that as a sign to stop and call it a day regardless of my result!

On the other side of things, I agree generally with everyone- perhaps there is some degree and extent of failure when it comes to machines. Even if roulettes are designed to prevent to encounter these kinds of errors, it will eventually happen one way or another.

With that being said, take it as a sign of divine intervention for you to stop and immediately liquidate your earnings. Maybe that's the lord telling you to cash out and enjoy your winnings before you lose everything!

That's really unusual for the dealer to drop the ball but it might be just coincidence but I wouldn't be surprised if somethings going on like a magnet or turned on the mechanism to roulette but I think it's smart for you to stop playing and leave, even if it's a pure coincidence losing two consecutively might not be good since you're already in profit and if you keep playing you might just lose your profit. Though that 2 consecutive losses it's not impossible to happen, I think you should just have observe the next results as it might just pure coincidence.

By design of the roulette, It’s very uncommon for the ball to drop out since the spin speed is calculated properly to make the ball just bounce on each wheel fret.

My answer on this depends where you are playing at. Some regions have less regulations when it comes to casino audits, but in generally huge casinos can only use certified tables.

Also i think that phone call might have got you suspicious and you were probably looking for confirmation that links the call to something being off with the table. If you are playing on some less regulated area, then anything is possible.

But casinos usually have enough money, so they don't need to fix some random players playing for merely hundreds of dollars worth bets, and their edge is enough to keep them making profit. Also if the word got out that there's a rigged table, it would be end for that casino. Then there's the fact that they don't need the risk, even if it was making millions of profit.

Now this is the real risk, because if people start believing this, it could significantly reduce the number of gamblers going to the casino and damage their reputation. If that happens, they could lose regular income, and in the long run, that could even lead to closure.

Since gambling is built on trust, casinos should avoid doing anything that could ruin that trust.

Yes, I have experienced ball dropout of a roulette machine before, but it was years ago, before I had enthusiasm for online gambling. Meanwhile, when the ball drop out of the machine it is consider as no spin and all bets are cancel, but in your case the dealer called the boss so that she could inspect the ball if it is been tampered or damage after the drop and sometime the inspect is done by supervisor so i guess the person you said was called to pick the ball is either one since she pick the ball back into the machine it mean the ball is fine and does not need a replacement.

Maybe the Roulette was spinning too fast so the ball fell, in general it's rare for the ball in the Roulette container to fall, I don't believe in superstition, it was spinning fast at that time.

Roulette Neman is an interesting game that many gamblers visit, I can say that I have had a long and long time in this game, but have never seen anything like you see, I'm sure the Roulette machine is broken, maybe they need to repair the machine, so the balls don't come out any more.
