Great project, yifi.
One small concern for many users would be the KYC probability in all those options that you present them with. You should find a way to make it clearer. For example, is there any chance that KYC will be asked in the private swap option? It would be an easy addition to include, maybe when the user clicks on the down arrow to expand the provider's exchange details.
But great work overall.
Given the history of SimpleSwap, ChangeNOW, and Quickex, and the scams associated with them, it's difficult to trust the accuracy of your Swap Aggregator.
A disclaimer explains this, but you have obligations to your customers, especially since some of these concerns are related to scam.
Private exchanges seem similar to Thorchain; can you provide more details?
Thank you for the feedback! We really appreciate the community's input as YiFi is under constant development. Gathering real user experience is vital for us to refine our roadmap and prioritize the right features.
Regarding KYC clarity:We agree that transparency is key. We are already working on updating the UI to display specific KYC details for each provider.
For standard swaps: You will see the provider's name and their specific KYC policy.
For Private swaps: While the provider names remain hidden to protect the routing path, we will explicitly display the KYC risk levels for each used provider. This way,
you’ll know exactly what to expect before committing to a swap.
Regarding provider trust and "Private" mechanics:We understand the concerns regarding some of the providers featured on YiFi. Our goal as an aggregator is to provide choice, but we take our responsibility seriously. This is why we are implementing a more robust filtering system and clearer risk labeling for the providers we list.
As for the Private swaps:They function differently from Thorchain. Our Private option acts as a privacy layer that obfuscates the link between the input and output addresses using advanced routing and internal mechanics. It is designed for those who prioritize on-chain anonymity without needing to interact with a specific DEX protocol.
We are constantly monitoring provider performance and will continue to update our "safe-list" based on community feedback and real-time data.
