Holding and trading are two completely different things and the results of these two are different. Those who hold have a long-term objective while those who trade have a short-term objective. People have already said this many times, even big investor too that trading isnt for everyone. Especially people like me who sometimes trade because of emotions that follow greed and fear. I been losing trading like a lof (Futures trading) but profit a lot but in theory from the beginning of time I do futurues trade Im still at minus or breakeven.

They understand trading is they don't learn as that is happens to those who wants to trade. They only lose and still continue to lose if they don't stops trading for a while and learning what is trading.

We all agree that holding is better than trading overall, the general concept is true. However, this is only because most of traders lose money, there are different numbers, some say seventy percent some say ninety percent but the reality is that we do now majority of people who trade end up losing money.

Holding is better than trading if you are not a good trader at all. What's the use of sticking into trading if you know you cannot even manage to turn your trades into success and profits. That would only be a waste of time, money and energy. The risk of trading and gambling is almost the same, so the risk is much higher in trading. So when a person is taking his risk by investing in Bitcoin and he is investing more money. If you read through the OP’s post it’s certainly not discouraging any trader to leave trading for investment even though the latter is actually proven to be less competitive. What was said was to prioritize the need to trade if you’re a trader and then if there are profits from the trading it should be reinvested into market for long term holding.

Majority of successful traders are actually smart investors too because let’s be realistic one cannot make much from been trader alone but rather smart investment is a key factor and that’s why many of the trades hold bitcoin in particular.
