I used to work at a mid-tier audit firm (not naming it) and one habit i never dropped is reading the contracts before i deposit anything. when i started using exolane about 6 months ago i actually went through their audit reports and the controller + market factory code on arbiscan. a few things stood out: 1) the architecture is pretty minimal which is good - less code surface = fewer bugs. 2) the keeper system separates concerns cleanly - oracle, settlement, liquidation, and orders all run independently so one failing doesnt cascade. 3) multiple audits from different firms which shows they actually care about catching different classes of bugs. ive now had over $15k in collateral cycling through the protocol across dozens of trades and never once had a settlement issue or unexpected behavior. the positions always match what the UI shows. obviously no protocol is 100% safe but exolane is one of the few dexes where i feel comfortable leaving a position open for days without checking it every hour. just my experience - not financial advice
