Hello forum. What do you think about this coin? Will the rate at least return to 70? Or has everyone forgotten about LTC?

In my opinion, it’s not that bad right now and I think it could reach your target price this year. Litecoin is currently around $50 and $70 isn’t impossible to achieve. It has already filled the October 10 2025 wick and I believe it now has a good chance to move up just like other altcoins that filled their wicks and saw a nice recovery.

We just need Bitcoin to decide whether it will drop below $60K or move higher. The same applies to Litecoin if it loses the $50 level, I’m waiting for $28. Always DYOR, because holding altcoins is never easy but the potential rewards can be worth it.

If you are a holder, do not panic, just continue to hold litecoin if $70 is your target but the time litecoin will get to that price may be during bull market. I still think litecoin will still go above $120 in the next bull market.

Well I'm gonna aim higher above $120 just like you said, cause Litecoin already been years ranging between $50-$130

Looking at the charts, I don't see how is Litecoin acting different from the rest of the market so it's probably not going anytime soon back to those levels, unless Bitcoin sees the 100k mark, or the ATH again.

I do however think that Litecoin seem to be losing its popularity compared to the previous year. Everyone seem to be focused on either BTC, or Monero.
For now, Litecoin is not showing any sign of improvement yet despite other coins are increasing to cause their investors to earn income, that is my observation that Litecoin will increase higher When the price of bitcoin increase to $100k because it will create a lot of opportunity for investors that are long term and short term to earn income they have not earned before from altcoins, I think there is still hope for Litecoin because their team will not allow the Litecoin to remain low when other altcoins are increasing in the market.

Even if the market recovers and bitcoin rises significantly in price, I personally have serious doubts that LTC will appreciate significantly. It seems to me that no one needs this coin anymore and LTC offers nothing of value to the market, either technologically or otherwise. For the price to rise, someone would have to want this coin. But the question arises: who? There are other, more valuable solutions (coins) on the market.

I do however think that Litecoin seem to be losing its popularity compared to the previous year. Everyone seem to be focused on either BTC, or Monero.
This is called the slow death of a long-running shitcoin (originally).

I've long forgotten about this coin and the return on investment in this asset. For me, this shitcoin is long dead.

This is true for some of the coins, not all of them. Because there are shitcoins out there and they may go down like bitcoin but they may just reach zero or near zero and may never recover.

This is why people like litecoin even though it is not ranked that high, because at least we know that litecoin is not a shitcoin. Sure it's not the greatest investment ever, sure it is not the best coin out there, and sure it will not make you the most profit, but at the very least we know that it will not crash to zero like a shitcoin.

But I consider Litecoin still one of the coins in the high market cap.   It consistently ranks as one of the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap, and it has been able to weather many different cycles of the market while many "flashier" coins have gone to zero.

Litecoin does not rely on any hype, slick marketing, or fancy features for promotion, but simply strives to be a cheap, fast, and reliable decentralised digital currency for transferring value.  While it may not have the largest online presence or user base compared to other popular cryptos, its continuing use with payment processors such as BitPay demonstrates that Litecoin continues to be a useful payment option.  Ultimately, the reason that Litecoin remains steadfast is due to its consistency and reliability in the face of extreme volatility and short-lived hypes and trends.
I am not sure what you mean by cheap, but dogecoin transactions are cheap as well. And like you said it has still a high market cap, so in terms of that it's still quite pricy.

I have nothing against litecoin and i hope it keeps being popular as it deserves it just for the sake of legacy and history of it alone. I just don't believe it does. And i am not saying it should rely on marketing or should be marketed. But i haven't been using it as a fast or cheap alternative to anything for 10+ years, and i don't think it's a go-to asset for anyone looking for that. Imho market is just too saturated for it to go back on the top.

Litecoin was once really hyped and was even seen as a lite version of Bitcoin but now the crypto market has matured a lot because with the influx of new projects, DeFi, NFTs, Layer-2 solutions, Litecoin is not as talked about as it used to be but it can’t be called completely dead either. It is still used for stable, low fees, and fast transactions. So I think Litecoin is no longer a hype coin but a utility coin because those who want fast and cheap transactions still value it. So less talk doesn’t mean it’s bad it’s a natural result of market changes.

Litecoin is not getting the same attention it had years ago, but it still has a place because it keeps doing its job well. Low fees, fast transfers, and a network that has been running for long time without major issues still give it value for everyday use.

The market just changed a lot. New projects came in and most people started chasing newer trends, so naturally Litecoin became less talked about. But that doesn't mean it failed, it just moved from being a hype coin to a coin people quietly use when they need something simple and reliable.

$70 is very close for Lite Coin to reach, so it's very possible, although it won't be easy to get in the near future because the market is now in a bearish state you don't have to worry about that price, it will be reached.
Liter coin is a dino coin in the market and the community is also strong and big, as soon as it rediscovers the bull market, it can be regained easily, now the market liquidity is being sucked and more focused on bitcoin than altcoins.

LTC isn't a good investment on long run. It has already had its momentum a long time ago, but as the market continued being developed and new altcoins were launched, the trends changed quite fast and Litecoin didn't manage to maintain its position. Of course it may be still possible for investors to profit through LTC once a new bull run takes place. However, the point is that superior profit can be made through trending altcoins in the future, so I don't see why someone would still go for this specific altcoin which used to be the silver of crypto industry in the early years.
I wouldn’t completely agree with you that litecoin isn’t a good coin, but for someone who has litecoin, you can continue buying and holding, because I would rate litecoin as something that is closer to ETH, because right now I don’t see how LTC would just vanish all of sudden, Litecoin have been here and it will continue to be here, I think if we have a new bull run with most especially bitcoin, then investors will have a chance of making more profits from litecoin because there is every tendency that it would skyrocket, so I would obviously say that someone who is holding litecoin shouldn’t give up immediately.

If I may suggest to some of us who are interested in investing in altcoins, then Litecoin should be part of what they should consider for an investment because of its future possibilities in making them proud, I do suspect something in this regard and I think this is my own personal way of observing some of these prominent coins that whenever I see them performed over a long time, it shows an indication that they are more likely to do better even in time to come as they are preparing for the next Wave, this is where I can see that there is future in investing on light point if we can take time on it.

The thing that will prevent it from reaching that level would not be because it did not do well on the market, but because the market will not be able to do well.

If we reach bear market, and price of bitcoin is like 50k or something, and eth goes to 1k, and basically all coins go down like that, then there is no way that litecoin would end up at seventy dollars. Doesn't mean that if the market goes bull, then litecoin won't, if the bitcoin price goes up then litecoin would too.

Litecoin just couldn't keep up with the times. It remained focused solely on payments like Bitcoin. With a few minor tweaks, who's going to pay attention to it? Especially when there are other altcoins with better features. Some altcoins of the past died because they took the same path as Litecoin.

The only reason why LTC is still around, it has the support of almost every crypto exchange. Since it's fast and cheap to use, many often compare Litecoin as "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold". I wouldn't expect much traction in price within the short-term. Unless BTC continues on a sustained bullish trend, LTC will never reach a new ATH. Just my two sats.

Hello forum. What do you think about this coin? Will the rate at least return to 70? Or has everyone forgotten about LTC?

Take a look at Litecoin’s historical price data on a monthly time frame (Source). And you can see how trading volume has performed so far. Litecoin’s decline perhaps influenced by the global crisis, where it has likely led investors to withdraw liquidity from this altcoin causing its price to drop as well. Litecoin actually has the potential for future price growth given the existence of a Litecoin ETF. However the crypto market volatility we’ve been experiencing lately has impacted Litecoin’s performance. But Litecoin still seems to hold hope of rebounding to its price levels from last year around $100. The fact that many major exchanges still list this altcoin suggests it still has a future or even perhaps will continue to grow as signs of altcoin hype begin to resurface. And this could happen by the end of this year or even next year. But all of this is just speculation and even there’s no certainty as to when it will happen. I suggest you don’t rely solely on this one altcoin. You might consider diversifying into other altcoins with growth potential. Or perhaps you could diversify into other privacy coins similar to Litecoin. I personally believe that diversifying your portfolio can minimize losses if an altcoin you hold is underperforming. And you can maximize your profits if one of the altcoins you hold is experiencing a significant price increase.

Hello forum. What do you think about this coin? Will the rate at least return to 70? Or has everyone forgotten about LTC?

Litecoin has not been forgotten, but Litecoin itself is slowly moving away. It is gradually losing popularity, but investors are now leaning more towards the trusted Bitcoin. If Likecoin can improve further in its current position and its popularity will increase in the future, if Litecoin wants to remain in a good position as in the past, they will have to gain more popularity.
Because currently, the largest number of investors in Bitcoin are holding Bitcoin.
