Nigeria electoral system is very corrupt, and has no integrity. Hearing this kind of news is never a surprise because for the first time, no president has ever assumed the seat of the presidency with free and fair election.
This is actually what they do, when they are in office, they gather money for bribery, gather for their family and leave the masses suffering.

INEC officials should be extremely very careful, because they are the reason why Nigeria cannot produce a candidate of the masses, rather they help to impose rulers on the masses after taking bribery. INEC officials should remain cautious otherwise, they will face the anger of the masses.

We already know why Wike is doing what he is doing and it is because of the forthcoming elections that will take place in 2027,  those gifts of lands and money to Inec officials is to buy them over so they will overturned the results in their favor, we know all his antics that he has been doing it's not new. Everyone is after the money not for the betterment of the country if not tell me why Inec officials will accept cash gifts and land from the Minister knowing fully well that it's bribery.

Nigeria has been built on corruption from time immemorial so don't expect any good nor integrity from any Nigerian that is employed by the government to carry out a task for them because they have being chosen to do the dirty work of rigging and all, even if they weren't offered land and money publicly they would still have given the money secretly. I get why this is raising concern honestly, if people who are supposed to be neutral especially around elections are seen receiving money or benefits, it creates a lot of doubts. Thought it may be called a gift but in situations like this a lot of people will see it something that could come with expectations later(give and take). I agree with your concern that trust is very important because when people start questioning how neutral this officials should be, it affects confidence in the whole process whether anything wrong eventually happens or not. Things like this becomes even more sensitive because election are supposed to be transparent and fair. Even if it’s called a gift, anything that creates a doubt in the electoral process is already a problem.

The level of corruption under this APC regime is really unspeakable, PDP ruled Nigeria previously and it wasn’t this bad, ranging from snakes swallowing money, to CBN governor looting money that even 4 generations to come can’t finish it, to our president moving to solar, now in broad day light the FCT minister Nyesom Wike is offering INEC officials lands worth $50,000, just so that they rig themselves in again come 2027, i really fear for the future of Nigeria because any country that has a corrupt judiciary system is in trouble, even in the next election let’s not just hope for anything good, Nigeria is just at a point of no return and only a revolution can save it.

The government isn’t saying anything good, even the citizens ain’t ready to protest and seek for a revolution, the lands wike is sharing around where is he getting it from? hmmmm, there was a country called Nigeria whereby the system is bad and our leaders keeps on ensuring that there won’t be any hope to correct it, which day will we scroll over the news and see Nigeria on the headlines for something positive?
