It is AI again.

You have seen me creating topics about how AI has been reducing workforce in many companies, it is MARA this time around. You should all know about what is going on with MARA recently as he sold huge amount of bitcoin and going for AI.

The last one of this AI related discussions that I talked about was not also about AI is replacing workers directly but Oracle sacked approximately 30000 workslers because of its focus on data centre and this is exactly what will be happening to MARA as he sacked 15% of its workers.

I wish to know the the number of workers from the article but it was not talked about.

When a company is on the roll they employ a lot more (people)  than they actually need.
So it is rather normal to lay off people.

One of the major reasons they gave which is not tangible with me is the fact that, they are transitioning from a Bitcoin mining company to energy and Digital infrastructure company, whatever that nomenclature means, it's not a justifiably reasons to drop people that have laboured for years because i see it that this persons that have been laid-off can as well be trained and retrained on the new strategy of the company and what it wants to achieve.
