Some people really like that because they have their self control at the same time they got circled with a good environment and we cant blame them because this is how they grew with themselves and there is nothing wrong with this yes it could be not normal for those people who are keep playing gambling and they seen other people who does not do the same thing its because people have different perspective in life, different priority so for these people good to them because they arent expose with the dark side of the life possible they are into other aspect and different perspective when it comes how live the life. Does not mean that you arent a man if you do such things like that people have their different coping and how get entertained.

What is your perspective towards men that don't gamble, smoke, fornicate or take alcohols?

They are normal humans who don't find pleasure in doing any of these. Many other activities are enterining beside these four that are mentioned. The saying that real men engage in one or more of these activities is false. I don't see any reason to engage in extramarital sex when I am married. Drinking alcohol or smoking has health consequences, so one might decide to avoid them. 

Sex is always fun, I mean the classic thing.

Smoking and drinking is injurious to health so one who got concerns about their health will avoid that.

And gambling comes with a cost and not everybody is going to like they spend more money to get fun so yeah everyone got their own way of getting their entertainment which is perfectly fine.

Not everyone who must be a gambler and you can't also expect majority of people to be gambling as you expect. Those who doesn't gambling can either be addictive to something else, it could be that they could love staying with woman or drinks alcohol. But one thing you must know is that those who doesn't gamble could like be that they also have other things that could be taking their attention so that they wouldn't feels as they are not gambling. In fact, those who doesn't gamble can actually love doing exercises like running other watch movies as their hobby.

Correct, most of those who don't engage in known bad habits, have hidden behaviour that could even be worse than gambling, drinking and smoking as mentioned some of them are chronic liars and some have a habit of not letting thing slid easily, so in the end, one thing or the other will be the distractions for any individual no one is 100% perfect.

There are some people who would rather just live a totally clean lifestyle; it really comes down to personal preference.

I'm used to hearing this common saying that if a man does not gamble he will either furnicate, smoke or drink alcohol, but let's come back to the actual sense of a community setting, just as we know that we all live in a society whereby everyone has his own choice and decision to make about how to live his life, but here is the big challenge or question I will like us to discuss.

It never occurred to me that there are people who view men generally as gamblers. I mean, of all the billions of people in the glove, there will be at least a significant amount of people who will not gamble and are not exposed to it as well. Perhaps it's because we are exposed to the gambling scene where we think every man is a gambler?

Nothing- we all have our respective hobbies and interests. Just because a man doesn't share the same hobby as I have doesn't mean that he's doing any other vices as well. It is not a black-and-white type of situation because every person is unique in some way.

In conclusion, I do not think about this and I believe that there will be a substantial amount of people who do not have any vices.  Whether we like it or not, there will be people who are entirely different from what the world we live in and that's just the way life works.

There are people like that, and I believe they’re not really risk takers. They just live life following what they think is right all the time, maybe even based on strict beliefs, and for me that kind of life feels a bit boring, no offense. As for me, being a gambler who also drinks and smokes sometimes, I feel like life is more enjoyable. I like the thrill of gambling, and when I drink, it feels like I’m in my own world where I can forget my problems for a while.

I don't want to believe that people who don't gamble are those who don't like to take risks, some people do hate gambling because of it's nature and they choose other things to take risks on, like stocks and other investments.

The know that gambling is based on luck, and can't be compared to investment, it's true that even investment is risky but gambling is the most risky sided by lottery tickets.

This is not a assumption or guessing, because I happen to know people in my own family that are like this, they just happen to never like the gambling works and it's fine, some are influenced by their parents that gambling is like a disease that has no cure, the only prevention is never get involved.

Some people take this advice from their parents very seriously.

There is no rule that everyone has to be involved in gambling, rather, when living in a society, there can be many bad people and there are also good people. However, the number of good people in the society is more because they do not participate in gambling, they are not uncultured but they are responsible. They are very attentive to the world and every society is run properly because of their responsibility. If the number of bad people in a society exceeds the number of good people, then that society can never be run properly. Rather, there must be good people in that society to bring those who participate in gambling back to the right path.

I know many people like that. I believe that people who don't gamble, drink, or smoke are currently the majority, and it may seem strange, since until recently it was believed that these things were men's things, that everyone did them. We live in a time when mental and physical health are the most talked-about topics. I read an article that discussed the possibility of beverage companies going bankrupt because the current generation doesn't drink like the previous one. I gamble sporadically; I don't drink or smoke, and, for me, everyone is free to do what they want, as long as it doesn't interfere with the freedom or limits of others.

Very possible that you discover some people gamble and some don't, applicable to other aspect of life, everyone has their own decision and you don't expect that every body should be the same or think the same way, therefore I am also in support of the existence of people who don't do either of days because they truly exist even though he may hardly find one or they are somewhere we may not know about them.

Just as the title of the thread suggest, we are going to concentrate more about some people we know around us that don't gamble at all, I know this may be coming as a surprise to us be doubt doubt doubt doubtcause some might be thinking that every man is a gambler and also act the same way they do, but let's try to take it deeper and discuss more about those we know that don't take gambling as their hobby to do.

I will not argue or deliberate much on these thread because it is very rare to see men that can't  fornicating, smoking, gambling and doesn't take alcohol and like they always says that if a man doesn't not waste money in gambling, smoke, or drink alcohol, that such men are womanizer and when you try to stop such men they will reply and say that it is in the nature of every man to be fornicating about that something must kill a man but for the purpose of these thread, I'm still giving out benefit of doubt that there are still good people's out there that doesn't do any of those points listed out because of religion, and anything out religion in this generation we in now it will be very rare to see men doesn't fall in any of those gambling, fornicating, smoking and alcohol.

I'm not surprised at all, we are living in diversity in culture, beliefs and religions, if their way of living is different to mine, I just have to respect them, and they have to respect my way of living, we are living in modern times, and we can only live in harmony by accepting and respecting other people's beliefs.

They earned my respect, they have control over their actions, and they have lived a virtuous life worth imitating, they are real men for me worthy oif respect, they can make a good family man or even leaders.

Sex is classic you said, although sex is recreational also, this is why we may look at it as being a good activities to engage in, but yes you have to make sure you have the right partner and not go about having sex with random people that can get you killed too. What believe should be appropriate in this is that, whatever we engage in as recreational or fun we need to do them in moderation as always.

i think nothing. we’re all different and we all have different reasons for why we don’t do certain things. some men don’t drink nor gamble because of religion while some simply do not enjoy it. a certain hobby should not define your manhood. doesn’t make us more or less of a man for having certain interests

Those who abstain from all these addictive things are more responsible and they certainly deserve respect, I personally think. In today's era, the decision to stay away from gambling, smoking or drinking is not easy, because they are very tempting, and in every group circle, someone or the other takes them, so they spread to others, and due to lack of control, they have a deep impact on them, but the person who can completely abstain from them is certainly a very prudent and strict self-controlled person who certainly deserves respect for it.

Those who do not do this are undoubtedly self-controlled and have a strange ability to control themselves. But if you look for them, you will find very few such people. In fact, most men are involved in some way or the other with the things you mentioned, either they gamble, drink or commit adultery, especially in today's society, where gambling and drinking have become a daily occurrence. Gambling has become an epidemic in today's society, it is difficult to find a person who has not gambled at least once in his life.

I'm not surprised about that, and I can't even see such men as not being among; in fact, I know a few people among my circle who don't gamble, they don't watch football, and they also don't have time to debate about politics.

You can say their life is boring, but that's how they have chosen to live their life, and there are other things that they find interesting and they are doing that you are also not involved in. Not all men are meant to gamble; it's something of choice and not what they inscribed as part of what makes up a complete man.

It’s just few , at first I thought all men gamble, but later i notice few of my friends who don’t gamble , don’t even fancy football, when others are talking about players and their performance his always quite because it’s non of his business and has nothing to contribute, at first it was awkward but nevertheless that is who he is and how he chose to live his life, it’s just work , maybe he has other hobby but not gambling or football, it’s really strange to me because football are men stuff , before I believe all men love football but I notice few of them don’t , so  my perspective change .

I'd say disciplined(VERY), but not because they don't gamble, smoke or drink alcohol, but because they don't fornicate, I mean, that is one of the most common and natural human things that goes through in their lives. I've seen a lot of men who don't drink, smoke or gamble, so it is not uncommon for me to see, but I haven't personally seen someone who doesn't fornicate.

I think I never seen a guy that totally miss out those things. There still one left among those. Like my brother he doesnt gamble but he drinks and smoke just like me. My father who gamble too but never smoke and drinks.

I had a classmate in highschool that dont do this and I cant say until now its the same cause probably he does now. In my opinion those people who literally dont do that have a very different perspective in life I know there are some who dont do that but I cant imagine what they are missing in this once in a lifetime. Like even they dont, at least tried right?
