What is your perspective towards men that don't gamble, smoke, fornicate or take alcohols?

I believe that everybody is struggling with one form of addiction or the other, it may not be addiction to gambling, to smoking, to physical substances, to fornicating, but it may be something else, maybe habits like lying or even the habit of being too comfortable may be an addiction without people knowing. That you have a man struggling with his addiction to gambling, smoking fornicating or taking alcohol does not make him entirely a terrible person, they are even more better than some persons who do not indulge in any of these activities but acts as though they are flawless.

What’s there to talk about people that don’t gamble? Everyone mustn’t be a gambler or get addicted to gambling. Those who don’t gamble, smoke, take substances or even fornicate are still pretty much humans and are living out their own lives like everyone else. But the truth is that they stand a higher chance of living a more peaceful life than people who risk getting into addiction or some other habits that can endanger their lives.

It is better to for you to be like you are trying to illustrate that  no man is perfect, I am not saying that you are wrong but the common term is based on if a man does not womanize they will either smoke or drink or even do drugs this is not to say that you are wrong.

I don’t smoke, I don’t drink and don’t fornicate so I won’t be surprised to hear that there are people who don’t gamble. Gambling isn’t a flex so if someone should be a gambler it doesn’t really give them any form of advantage and in my society where gambling isn’t looked at with a good eyes, it’s no surprise that people will abstain from it because they simply don’t want to be judged by the people around them.

For me, there's no perspective towards men that doesn't do what I do and vice versa. I gamble and someone doesn't, that's their decision and they have a reason for that. I don't smoke but someone else does, they still have their reason too. This thing you wan us to talk about is just based on a personal level which you know fully well that everyone in this life can not have the same choice and also have different influences on things. Some people started gambling today because they were influenced by their friends but other refuses to be influenced probably because of their culture or religion, etc. There's reason for everything.

Not everyone even enjoys gambling so I dont see the lack of interest would make anyone a saint or better then others.  I'd say its more like everyone is equal no matter what, maybe you skip all the obvious faults but eat too much and that causes bad health, loss and so on.

Yes, gambling is not for everyone who is really interested in gambling, who understands the fun of gambling, who can forget everything and enjoy the pleasure for a while through gambling, there are many people who talk about gambling but actually they do not gamble, this is absolutely true. All those people who do not gamble, do not even do drugs and do not indulge in any kind of adultery, these are also ordinary people, they are also living a normal life like everyone else. They are living a beautiful life, much better than a gambler.

Well, I think those who don't do these things actually want to live in peace on their own terms.  While everyone is looking for a little excitement they might prefer a life with less hassle. I don't see anything wrong with that but it takes a clear mindset to live like that. And honestly we often think they are boring but if you look closely, you can see that they are happy just as they are, I think being yourself and not getting involved in unnecessary things is also a smart choice.

Surprising as it may sound, there are men today who don't gamble, smoke, drink alcohol, or fornicate. They are living their lives happily without issues.

I think these kinds of men, had a personal decision or relationship with their maker(God) to live a holy life. To abstain from unholy activities that will not bring exaltation to God's name. We won't rate them as less men, because everyone is free to do or believe whatever they like.

Why discuss men that don't gamble this is unnecessary to me, the life of a Gambler and non Gambler are far apart so we in the gambling community should focus our attention to see how we can become lucky in our gambling by exploring new ways to gamble. The life of a gambler is one that is full of risk, Ambitions and courage because one thing I have come to realize in all gambler's is the spirit of not giving up.



Looking at the life of a Gambler I will say that, people who don't gamble are actually living in peace and is avoiding some unnecessary pressure and spending that comes as a result of gambling. What I will say to everyone Gambler that is around me is that it's there are things that are left better unknown and one of such things is Gambling.

Not everyone has a vice. Some men choose to just live their lives without any bad habits.

If they don't gamble, it doesn't mean they will smoke or drink. Let's take that out of our perspective. I have friends who do not even have any vices, and they can still live a normal life. They work, and they choose to just play games that are not even connected to gambling, or they just want to provide for their family.
It's not wrong and actually they may be the most normal person than those who choose to have a vice in their life. They sometimes drink and have fun, but that's it.

I have a brother like that, he doesn't do any of the things you mentioned above, and that's perfectly normal because there's no saying that to be a man you have to gamble, smoke, or anything like that. Usually, men like that have other hobbies they enjoy, whether it's fishing, the gym, or other hobbies they use to entertain themselves. That's perfectly normal because not everyone is suited to gambling and smoking, so don't be surprised if you find men like that.

I'm used to hearing this common saying that if a man does not gamble he will either furnicate, smoke or drink alcohol, but let's come back to the actual sense of a community setting, just as we know that we all live in a society whereby everyone has his own choice and decision to make about how to live his life, but here is the big challenge or question I will like us to discuss.

So what is your take on This? You think that anyone who does not smoke , drink alcohol, gamble, fornicate or womanize does not exist. well there are people like that expecialy religious practitioners like faithful pastors and saint of some catholic churches and some faithful members. But apart from that, there are some people who don't gamble that I know but I am not sure if they don't smoke or drink alcohol, but am sure they don't gamble. Those that don't gamble nore smoke tend to be free minded people, and they have no problem from my observation and personal encounter with them.

Gambling is not a bad thing except your belief do not permits you to gamble or involve themselves into gambling. In these world we can't see someone who is a saint or that is pure on their minds, of course, only those who their faith has risen to point where they don't usually get moved by worldly things anymore.
But we can't say for sure that, people do not involve themselves with something else, they could either be occupied with something else.

I don’t have a different perspective or view towards men that don’t indulge in the above acts you listed,everyone mustn’t be the same or act alike.The way each part of our body plays different roles that’s how everyone play their own role on earth.Most people don’t want to violate the commandment that have been written in their Bible/Quran,especially the aspect of fornicating and smoking,these two acts are against the religion.So in essence,religion is a also a major reason why most men don’t indulge in such acts.

To be honest, in this current erra, there is lots of people who are doing gambling, but still I didn't hear something like that if a man don't do gambling you will smoke or fornicate or take alcohols. Because in my own view I have sawn lots of people around me even they were close to me they don't gambling and as well no connection with smoke or fornicate or take alcohols.  and I also think that not doing gambling with nothing weakness.

Personally, a person may not like gambling and in that case he may refrain from gambling. There is no reason to be surprised here. Because I have seen many people who love sports and play sports but have never been connected to gambling.

They are the set of men which most are looking up to; I don't look at them as people who are not man enough; I just see them as a set of people who choose a different part from what society defines men to be like, and they just somehow get involved in doing one of those things.

There not many and few. And there is no big deal on them, they live normal life. But there are not vocal as others, their social life is limited. They don't look for trouble. They lives a quiet lifestyle. I was not a gambler until I came to this forum. And I started gambling from here. But I am not a chronic gambler but a moderate gambler.

men who dont gamble are too many, maybe you are the one who is not awear about them. most of them are just gentle and decent men who chose to be quiet, humble, loyal and responsible. they just chose that lifestyle because they love it and not because of anything. most of them are introvert and are quietic and dont want to be bordered by anything. in fact they are comfortable with their lifestyle.
