I haven't tried gambling with Bitcoin before because I don't feel it's the right thing to do. I have only tried it with fiat and stable coin but most of the time, I use more of fiat since my casino supports local deposit. Anytime I want to gamble, they let me deposit small amount if money that I might not be able to deposit in other coins but I will be able to make deposit in my local currency, gamble in my local currency and then get pay out in local currency.

It's not advisable to be gambling in Bitcoin, your Bitcoin is supposed to be kept somewhere and for holding. However, if you are that kind of person that is gifted, I mean gifted with skills and knows how to make money from gambling, it's not bad. You can always convert your money to Bitcoin so you can get pay out in Bitcoin when you win, that's how you make more Bitcoin from gambling even though there is no too much difference between them, you can always buy back Bitcoin if you so wish.

The fee could be considered as one of the reason while many have not used bitcoin to gamble including me, but the fee is not as high as sending deposit from a centralized service into the casino account as those mentioned stable coins can charge you as low as $0.2 and sometimes up to $1 and volatile should not even be the problem as long as you know how to calculate your deposit. In terms of choosing a means to deposit i belive we all do it base on the coin and token we personally hold we don't just swap to another choice because we want to fund a casino.

Gambling with Bitcoin isn't something thar I feel comfortable doing because Bitcoin to me is something that I only thing I want to invest and not gamble with. This is a valuable asset that I don't think that I can gamble with, a lot of people lost their Bitcoin to gambling years ago and now they regret not investing what they had. I don't use bitcoin or any other volatile cryptocurrency for gambling, what I spend on gambling is either a stable coin or my local fiat currency.
The stable coin can be usdt, USDC which are the most popular for now and for me, so I don't spend bitcoin or any altcoin because their prices are not stable..

Like for example, I often said that losing bitcoin to or through gambling is usually a double lose because if the bitcoin spent on gambling which got lost is worth $50 at the time of the loss, there is every possibility that in the next one year or two, that same amount of bitcoin would be worth over a $100 or even much more..

Actually, I keep all my betting or gambling in stable currencies because of the high volatility of other crypto currencies.
Due to high volatility, prices often fluctuate and in this case I also have trouble keeping track of my gambling and at the same time I think this volatility has an effect similar to the budget set for gambling.

Because it happened to me a few times that I deposited the equivalent of $50 in Bitcoin for gambling but I couldn't gamble that day due to busy schedule and later when I entered it to gamble the next day, I saw $50 as $45 which is disappointing because many times I keep my total budget for gambling for a day at $5. I rarely gamble use the volatile coin. I don't say volatile coin is bad, but let's imagine when you bought your btc for gamble at 120k, then it's worth only almost a half of it at this moment even when you do nothing. It's a surely very risky decision.
Beside that many crypto gambling sites are already support the stable coin via L2 network that cost us less than 10 cents. I see no reason to gamble use the volatile coin.

I thought it would be compared to fiat, but I feel the same as you. The difference is that I prefer using stablecoins rather than Bitcoin for gambling. Although it’s true that we can earn more Bitcoin through gambling, I still think twice about it because most gamblers lose money in casinos. When I use stablecoins for gambling and win, I sometimes spend part of the profit to buy crypto, especially Bitcoin. However, it’s not consistent because sometimes I use it to buy other things as well.

If you’re gambling with ETH, SOL, TRX, etc. I think it’s basically the same as gambling with Bitcoin. Just imagine losing your crypto because you gambled right before the bull run started.
