Well, if you win with bitcoin in return, isn't it great too? Well, I'd agree that it shouldn't be gamble and probably have it for another asset instead but there might be some circumstances that needs to be considered on why bitcoin should be the case. For example, the site only accepts bitcoin which is rare but there is, your asset is only bitcoin and you don't want to hassle yourself exchanging it on other asset so you deposited it anyway. There are some gamblers out there that might be comfortable to gamble it anyway as long as it gives them bitcoin in return.

That's for you and how you view gambling from your own perspective. But let me ask you something: aside from seeing Bitcoin as a store of value, do you also see it or consider it to be money?

If yes, then there is no difference between using Bitcoin and other currency to gamble since you can also use that same money which is held in other currencies to buy Bitcoin. You can also use Bitcoin in replacement for them. That's how I just look at it aside from the fee and delay in crediting my gambling account: whatever form of money I have and I can spare it for gambling is what i use.

Bitcoin used for gambling should be different from what you hold as investment, just as it's not all the money you make that's meant to be allocated into gambling; there are budget plans for all these things.

This is just depends on personal choices as other people who values their privacy may likely used Bitcoin to gamble so that they wouldn't know them. But you are right, majority of people nowadays do not like using Bitcoin to gamble because they know that any amount they deposited today could rise higher above expected. The truth is that most times when I am gambling, I use stable coins like USDT instead Bitcoin, to be sincere with you, I treat my Bitcoin as an assets and not currency to gamble with, infact the cost and effect of transferring my Bitcoin from my wallet to casino wallet won't allow me to consider using Bitcoin for regular gambling.

Maybe you should also start seeing your Bitcoin as a currency you can spend if you don't then what type of future do you expect from Bitcoin, I can use my Bitcoin to gamble because I believe I should be able to use my Bitcoin.

I don't get this logic. If you are gambling with bitcoin, you are gambling with monetary value of it. It's just a tool for buying services just like anything else.

I mean why would you bet even with money then, if you could buy bitcoin with it and not gamble? And if there's a gambling budget that you never meant to buy bitcoin with, what difference does it make if you use it to buy bitcoin and gamble with same amount? Why not? Bitcoin is scarce but not impossible to buy. If you got money you can always buy it from exchanges and other channels so I don't find any reason why would you not use it when you are okay to use the other cryptos?

There are reason why I don't because with stable coins it is much easier now but back in the day I remember I preferred bitcoin only casinos and if they have altcoins I might skip them but now things changed, the stablecoins are everywhere and you get cheaper or even free withdrawal but with bitcoin it is expensive compared to altcoins that is my only reason not to use Bitcoin.

I don't also like to gamble withy Bitcoin. Although if by any chance I come in contact with someone gambling with his Bitcoin I won't question the person because I believe he or she already know what's they are doing.
However the same way people gamble with Bitcoin that's also the same way people gamble with Fiat currency, but the truth is that the Fiat currency loses it's value on a daily basis but Bitcoin is a good store of value which makes it clear that the longer you hold the more advantage you get to make profits, so gambling with Bitcoin is not a very good idea to me but I won't question anyone who does.

Not really, but dont you think you are just gambling the equivalent amount in USD? for example if you gamble with the sum of $40 which will be around 0.00057BTC is just equal to the amount you would have used in usdt or usdc, but just that it is in bitcoin that is a volatile asset now make it looks so special. although i heard that the casino are holding a large number of bitcoin in their possesion, and i believe this could be the reason. people who gambled with bitcoin long time ago  and lose has made the casino own a lot of bitcoin. and if they didn't convert or sell it, it will multiply their asset. so the ability of that bitcoin used to gamble to become an asset or useful depends on the casino, because if they sell it early they will also regret as you did.

When it comes to gambling and if Bitcoin is used at that time, I personally think that the high volatility of Bitcoin can impact our bankroll budgeted for gambling. And for this reason, I personally feel comfortable using Bitcoin for gambling.
This is the only reason I avoid using Bitcoin, but I also don't think that using it will make it difficult for us to hold it, because we must have a separate fund to invest in Bitcoin, and it cannot be combined with gambling or entertainment in any way.

I always do it when bitcoin has decreased even though the nominal may not be too much but I always try to gamble with bitcoin even though it is just another option because I also use several other cryptos to gamble but when the decline occurs then I will do it with bitcoin.  It is undeniable that bitcoin is one of the things that is very worthy of being used as an investment but in this case it does not mean that I take what I should invest and use it for gambling because in this case everything has a budget and I just buy bitcoin with the money that I should use for gambling and play it. The investment that I do will not be disturbed by my gambling activities even though it uses bitcoin.

I don't mind betting with bitcoin if that's what I have on hand, initially, so it's circumstantial; you just bet it, it's nothing more than that. Obviously, price changes tend to influence things, but that also benefits your winnings, so it shouldn't be a problem. Although in my case, I have casino wallets with USDT and others with mBTC. I don't withdraw Bitcoin out from my portfolio to gamble that's why I don't often use it and even if I decide to buy Bitcoin from cex and withdraw direct to the casino, the fee is sometimes high, so I just prefer to use fiat.
