Most traders are gamblers in reality. They don’t know how to do risk management at all and they think the more they make trades, the more money they will make. That’s why they keep opening and closing bad positions and losing money. They can’t understand not making any trades is usually the best strategy. A btc holder from 2016 made more money than 99% of the btc traders. Trading gives traders the illusion of achieving something but apparently not doing anything is the most profitable choice usually.

sure you are not the only one thinking of exchanges manipulating the price so that you get liquidated. i have few experiences of that where every time i get to buy, all of a sudden the price goes down. and if doesn't just happen once, almost all the time.  though we can't prove it that exchanges are trying to manipulate for us to lose, it just feels that way.

So maybe it is not wrong if there is an understanding of trading like gambling. Although I do not believe in that, sometimes when there are losses in trading, one can only blame insufficient skills, or perhaps I am just unlucky.

Op, you need to know that no strategy is guaranteed. You might be putting in much efforts to learn and improve yourself, but the only barrier that may be standing as a hindrance is TIMING. Entering the market at a time when there are low activities or when you are not in the right emotions, or entering the market just before a news that triggered the market against you. Sometimes what you need is a little more patience while still working hard to improve on your skills.  If trading is getting on your emotions, you can simply hodl bitcoins to avoid that emotional stress.

Unpredictability of market could be cause of losing in trading, but aside from that, what I have also noticed from my personal experience and observation is that, greed in trading is very hard to control most especially for those traders with high knowledge and skills, you be thinking that the market can never go against you so there for you place in a high risk trade that most likely pushes you a step away from your liquidation price but thinking you be getting a jackpot profits from such trade, but in the end your greed beat you to it and you lose again.

Note firstly that loosing is part of trading and will always be part of trading, it is not a problem of the exchange manipulating or some sort of external cases but a normal that happens such that every trader gets to experience it at a time in their trading journey. If you ever taught of trading to be loss free, then you need to rethink, but if you loose too often such that it outweighs your wins, then that is where we could spot an issue and advise possible pause until you are mentally ready again to start. This has literally nothing to do with your skills or experience,  actually, a trader without a loss story hasn't traded enough and possibly isn't experienced enough. So with trading, you get to loose at a time and it is not the market but a normal, just make sure not to get caught up in the losses.

Market is not manipulated but the traders need to understand that it is not only the technical analysis or the fundamental analysis that drive the market. The emotions, the fundamental economic changes condition of the world, the war situation, that tariffs, the greed,  the fear,  the liquidity, there are so many things that drive the market and it is not easy for a new average trader to understand all of these before taking a trade.
Seriously I wouldn't blame the traders if they are losing money because trading isn't easy, the market makers and the exchanges wouldn't let the retailers make an easy money,  that's one hard fact.

Manipulation is possible because I don’t trust some of these exchanges especially if they have all open positions in the same coin that will fetch traders money, they will dragged the price down or up to force massive liquidation to avoid them losing money; I think this has happed before; therefore I don’t trust anyone in this crypto space anymore that’s why I am even scared of trading anymore because even developers can manipulate market and whales together with influencers and allowing small and average traders and investors to be losing money.
No matter how good you can be with your tactics and strategies, I think this market needs to be given time to normalize because rushing the market will resolve to lose of money.

Regardless, what level of trader are we talking about? I think there are many secrets to long-term trading success out there, and lower-level traders will always be a few steps behind.

I would say experience will teach us all. There have been times when each and everyone of us know what exactly needs to be done but still get carried away looking at the charts. This is where our feelings come out and play. We need to have a really calm mind if we really need to make profits. Let our experience teach us and we should never forget what we learnt from the mistakes.

Yes, there are people who pretend to be smarter but are foolish in nature and will ignore their mistakes just to make new ones. While smart people will learn from their mistakes and will implement those immediately. These smart people will learn the way market works and I am pretty confident, these people can make the most our of trading not just by following their instincts but by learning from their mistakes.

Long-term trading has a higher success rate as we don't keep speculating the charts which keeps our mind calm but yet people prefer short-term trading just because they see instant profits and want to fill their pockets as soon as possible because they might have a few financial commitments.

Large lot sizes or if you are talking about futures trading in crypto, then the leverage used is too high and too extreme to risk more money, when you don't know if it will make a profit or not.
Because Professional Traders will not commit foolish actions by using the maximum limit of leverage, except for those who have already lost at the beginning and want to trade for revenge.

I once felt in a position as a revenge trader and tried to do whatever it took to return the losses including using the highest leverage, but in the end I lost more money.
Patience and discipline are indeed required for a professional trader, although beginners also need to learn a lot about how crypto trading works.

From what I understand from what I read about trading, it is very difficult to understand or determine the price movement in the crypto space, particularly in trading. Maybe it is because it is really difficult to determine the price that will happen to any coin in the cryptocurrency business.

Then it is also possible that others are running out of patience because this is how trading is, and above all, they lack a lot of knowledge, so they always lose here, meaning it is really difficult to discover the right strategy here. What is needed here is that we also have the right system that is used here, and this is what we should know too.
