Has anyone here actually won big in gambling and then used that money as capital

How I wish for that. I know I've been losing a lot from gambling, and in order to recover them all, I have to be so lucky and win big and incredible amount. But my question is, are we still heading there? This is the reason why I just learned to just enjoy gambling and have fun, rather than stick to the thought of when will be the day that I'll be winning big and finally say, this is it!

After all, no one pushed us to gamble, not even the casino itself. If we are currently losing, that's part of gambling, we just need to be more cautious on the amount we are losing so as not to regret one day because we have lost everything we have.

I've thought about that before, but when I think about it again, it doesn't seem like a good idea. If we build a business using winnings money & still continue playing, cash flow may not be good for the business. When you lose, you might take money you previously invested in the business to make deposits. It would be a good idea, when we actually leave gambling after the big win we got.

Those who are addicted to gambling cannot quit gambling. If they win once and invest that money in a good place, when they do not have enough money to gamble, they use that invested money again in gambling because at that time they have the intention that if they gamble with this money again and win, they will return that money to the business. It is never recovered. Rather, they become more addicted. I have seen many people who have bought cars with a lot of money from gambling, started new businesses, but they could not keep them for a long time and lost them again through gambling.

I spent most of my winnings to gamble back again, I wouldn't mind how long it will take for me to recover as long as the fund that's set for gambling, it is for me to gamble.

But whatever comes next like putting it to the business is a good option when I am not feeling that I should gamble with it.

I think most of us doesn't usually win with the bankroll that we spend for gambling and so, if someone does that and able to succeed with business too, you're the man!

I have not won any big money from gambling because I prefer to bet small. If I can win a big amount of money from now on in the future then it is definitely the best plan to use it for future purposes. But in fact some people win big money and they waste their money later, it is not advisable to do such a thing because you may not be lucky again and again.

And for those who can be wise, I think they are very lucky because they can use it well even though they may have previously lost a lot or more than their big win.

Using our big win as a business capital is just a great and excellent idea so to speak, and anyone that can be thoughtful enough to utilize such excellent opportunity has done nothing but good to his self and that of his family as well, but not every persons can do that, many believe that by putting it back into gamble can make more sense than investing it into a tangible business. But in my opinion investing in to a business is just a great concepts that can make you a boss of yourself and make you live more comfortable life than ever. It is only few that will ever think in the direction of starting a business when they win big amount of money from gambling. Some gambler maybe thinking that they will continue winning without knowing that luck won't always be on there side for then to always remain lucky with winning. Instead of using the money to start up a business a no matter how small they will used up the whole money for gambling.
As for I haven't been that lucky to win an amount that can be able to start a small business.

I am not in that situation where I win much money and changes my lives but if that is just for celebrating the win moment, I had that experienced and buying food and drinks and have a good moment with my friends. If I can win much money from gambling, I will invest the wins money to something that can increase in the future. I haven't won anything big from gambling and I'm still waiting for that big win.
I highly doubt that I would use the money to start a business. I'm not a business-minded person and I don't have the necessary qualities to succeed at building a business. I have poor communication and management skills. I'm not hard working and I lack the motivation to start something big. I also know that most small businesses end up going bankrupt in the first 2-3 years of their existence. I would most likely invest my "big gambling profits" in a stock portfolio or index funds. Something like S&P 500 would be nice, but I have some expectations that the AI bubble will burst and the S&P 500 is about to drop, so I'm going to wait for the right moment to jump. And I'm still waiting for that big win from gambling.

Not exactly the scenario you described but I do won huge amount in the past on gambling way back when Crazy time of evolution gaming was still new and frequently giving huge multiplier compared now.

I manage to hit 10 with x10 multiplier using a bet of 100$. That around 10,100$ payout since initial bet is not counted on the x100 total profit. I invest it on my existing business by purchasing sewing machines to expand my production.

I still gamble but only using small amount of money mainly from my crypto profits investment.

Imagine winning a big amount. I think the immediate human response would be to get excited and just splurge. If it were different, maybe not moving anything at all once you win something and just intentionally not moving it in any way, could be helpful for that urge, and then could be invested in something viable.

Not that I’ve ever won enough to consider starting a business with it, but it’s not a bad idea. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a business; if you win a big lottery prize or hit a jackpot on a slot machine – things like that – and it’s tens of thousands or more, you could use at least some of the money to invest, in Bitcoin, the stock market, gold, rental properties, or whatever. But the point is not to squander it all, but to set aside at least some of it to work for you.

No, I never win from gambling. Though I am not a professional gambler, I gambled a couple of times with free money given by gambling sites for testing the platform or given as bonuses. To be honest, I lost everything and decided to not gamble again with my own money. However, if I win big from the gambling some days, I won't put back those funds on the gambling again. Rather, I will use these funds in real life, like purchase lands or invest in some other business.

While I make big money from the trading, I put that money into real-life investment. I will do the same even if I win from the gambling. Shouldn't put back all the money from where we earn; who knows, next time we won't be lucky enough and might lose everything.

A lottery is a type of gambling that can give a big win with a small amount. But the problem is that the chances of winning is very slim. I have read of some lottery winners who blew their wins on luxury instead of investing.

I have also not had the privilege of winning big. But I have plans for big wins if it ever happens. It's not really starting a business, but maybe relocating to another country with better opportunities.

Well I have gambled and win big some years ago but it wasn't enough to start up a Business, I just used it for an important thing that will be remembered. Not all amount won can be used for business.

I think there is nobody here who actually place large high risk bets to win enough to start his own business. To start a business, a lot of money are required, because first months or years business most probably is going to work with losses. I believe we are talking about hundred of thousands as an amount to start and run a business. I remember there were polls how much people bet and majority of answers were $100 or less. If there is someone who has managed to turn $100 into $100,000, then there is no need for him to start business, as that person is lucky enough to earn from gambling.
