Hi Guys, how to we get this coin listed on well known sites. I think this coin is worth close to BTC, we just need it listed on exchange where traders often trade, AGX is new & has very little user buying base. I so far mined 27.39 VC coins, hoping to pay off my rig. Lets all discuss on ways to improve it's presence on exchange trading. I also think dev should not increase reward amount per block as that will not only flood the market, but dilute the value.

Very promising coin Smiley

Looks like AGX is down. Just curious, what was the going rate for VC on there?

Last time I checked myself  it was around 1 VC = .23 BTC
so 5 VC block would be worth 1.15 BTC (assuming this rate does not change)

But agree with others, this Coin needs to be listed at more visible & popular exchange. We should all petition these exchanges requesting they add VC for trading.

Nice! I really hope that is the true value at the moment.

Last time I looked (5 minutes ago) the highest value VirtualCoin has ever been sold at is 0.01 BTC and is currently being sold at 0.00742 BTC.
So unfortunately the value isn't as high as you thought. Sad
But hopefully it becomes as high as you said.

Well, I contacted the Poloniex exchange to get VirtualCoin added. Hopefully they accept.
Here is my email:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
VirtualCoin (VC) is a new innovative X11 coin. Our aim is to compete in the real world by introducing user access to VirtualCoin at Bitcoin based ATM machines worldwide.
We have not cloned another coin, but built it from scratch and even had beta builds of the client before the current version was released.
With only 3 million total coins @ (currently) 5 coins per block and a block time of ~2.5 minutes, our coins will be more appealing than many other altcoins due to a higher value.
We hope to see VirtualCoin overtake Litecoin in years to come.

SPECIFICATIONS
PoW Scrypt X11 Algo
~3 million total coins
Initial difficulty: 1/2^10
Maturity time: 4
Target Spacing: 2.5 mins
Target Difficulty Retargets: VGW (Virtual Gravity Well)
BLOCK REWARDS
1 : 50
2> Block reward is controlled by: (1112.0 / (pow((dDiff+51.0)/6.0,2.0))) (currently 5 coins)
Additionally, reward amount declines 20% each year.

We all are mining so... in that case we all owe each other. I too think it is just the matter of time before this coin hits big.
Agree with other poster, lets just keep the reward amount AS IS. Remember it is decentralized currency, so particular one person owes it. I am looking to keep in for at least 4-6 months, before selling some of it.  Coin Market is really low (bottom out), so it was the right time to launch the coin, it will ride up with the waves. Just need exposure on popular trade exchanges.

I see all these big pool operators will have the most coins...lol.

That is crazy, Coin is worth more than that. Early dumpers don't realized their true value... haha
Just look at this & then tell me https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.msg1195#msg1195 (dude bought Pizza for 10,000 BTC)... that's worth over $10 million during peak.

I am holding on to all my Virtual Coins till next year.

Likely issue with the pool, check with the Pool OP. I think you can check your TX in Console debug window as well or post your TX ID, maybe we can try to help you out.

Any link to this? Thanks Cheesy.

So the latest version (4.2.3) doesn't work with this coin? Seems odd.

Can I get a link to the wallet that works so I can download the correct one?  Doesn't make much sense to have a link to download a wallet that is dead and has been for over 24 hours.
