As an American, I probably never will understand it. His legions of followers thought Trump was qualified to run the government of an entire country just because he once ran (and bankrupted) some casinos? But in what universe does that translate well or provide one with the necessary skills and experience to run the government of the most powerful country in the world, or any government for that matter? It is truly bizarre to me. Did Trump have some kind of incredible speaking skills, charisma, charm, looks, that could possibly compensate for his absolute lack of political experience? No, because Trump is not a gifted speaker, nor handsome, nor charismatic, or anything other positive characteristics. Whenever Trump speaks it always sounds like he is mumbling something to himself, but his moronic followers somehow think he is the most gifted speaker they ever heard. Trump is a grotesque figure, extremely old, morbidly obese and ugly, has a strong resemblance to Jabba the Hut, etc. and yet his cult supporters treated him like he was the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. Yeah Joe Biden was also pretty bad as a candidate and had many similar features of Trump (old, senile, poor speaker who mumbles everything, can barely walk, etc.) but he seemed much more normal for a politician compared to Trump. But I just never understood this bizarre overtop worship of Donald the Hutt many Americans had or still have for him. Trump always came across as a scam artist to me. For example there were dozens of articles about Trump defrauding people with his Trump University scam. He was ordered by a judge to pay $25 million to settle related lawsuits against Trump Univ. Trump was ordered to pay $360 million for his fraudulent activities with the Trump Organization, lost multiple judgments against him for tens of millions of dollars in regard to sexual harassment, the list goes on. He is cartoonishly evil and always made my skin crawl. Trump is the biggest fraud and crook in the history of the United States and yet people voted for him twice. The only way to describe it is a cult. When he first announced he was running for president years ago I thought it was a joke. But fast forward 10 years later and the entire world is still experiencing the real-life nightmare that never seems to end under this grotesque creature. Trump is not the second coming of Jesus Christ but more like the second coming of Adolf Hitler, the anti-Christ

I think the cult is collapsing - people are discussing the 25th amendment. Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President. Even if he's going to chicken out, it shows a impulse issue we should all be afraid of.

I find that image of Trump a bit grotesque and disturbing, to be honest. Vod is right: Trump supporters' eyes have been cleared of his crypto charm. I will say it again: Trump actually won the election because of the enthusiasm he showed for Bitcoin during his campaign. Trump also had the most famous campaigners. Charlie Kirk is a typical example, may his soul rest in peace.

I understand some of it (even if it nauseates me), and it begins with a genuine disenchantment with America's political system. He was an "outsider". Joke's on "we the people" because he is part of the 1% Republican/Democrat - Right/Left Conservative/Liberal--- same bird/coin There is always an Epstein type Class and then there is us. I hope that the shitshow of Trump wakes up people everywhere. The bullshit that the governments of "free people" do in our names has always been to profit the few. They destabilize the world and profit while they maintain power ---> "win win" for them. They tell us it is to "protect freedom". You don't need a conspiracy it's all out in the open for anyone to observe. History is there to learn from not to be entertained although it IS quite horrifying. Trump isn't "the problem" he is the result of a propagandized sleepy citizenry. The divisions between people have always been the tool of a ruling class. So here we are... again. Has he exploited it in gluttonistictly grotesque ways that history will see clearly, wondering how TF we let it happen? YES! ----->>>> but don't take my word for it because I have Trump Derangement Syndrome ;-). I won't be quiet about 10's of thousands of beds being built for ICE detention centers, paying for Israel's genocide on the Palestinian people or the Administration breaking our laws while violating our inalienable rights. Wars to profit the very wealthy isn't a new thing but humanities access to information IS. Even if it is currently suppressed. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5KxGNjBV_gA PissedMagistus Joe Rogan (wrong on the 1%)

1. Trump is a successful business man as measured by an increase in net wealth. His primary business was real estate, not education, which to my knowledge is not considreed to have been fraudulently gained even by Democrats, let alone the people who are strong supporters.
2. Trump was willing to say "fuck you" to the establishment politicians and opponents who verbally attacked him in front of everyone without fluff. Trump was willing to name and shame people that people believed were dishonorable. This gained him support.
3. Trump was willing to stake a claim to an unpopular position, or what was unpopular, against illegal immigration. The other Republicans were very cowardly and refused to state their position. This took courage, so gained him support.
4. Trump spoke out against the wars witthout being left-wing and instead supporting pro-business positions. This was a rare mix at that time, so gained him support.
5. Trump staked a claim to some libertarian positions, making himself an clear ally. This included positions against deficit spending and positions for lower taxes. This gained him support from people like Alex Jones who very much acted as an introductory point for supporters.
6. Trump was persecuted for unfair reasons, and people rallied to his side against persecution.
7. The elites and mainstream media hated Trump, attacking him at angles that were not authentic, and people look at that as a sign he isn't one of the elites. The mainstream media really loved Trump but after he was a) on track to be elected and b) would not be manipulated in simple ways like the avcerage politician they turned against him overnight. So, people really loved him passionately for that appearance of being unmanipulated.
8. Trump is anti-woke. People who are anti-work therefore have a reason to support Trump.
9. Trump is literally and metaphorically attacked by evil people using persecution tactics. People rally to his side with great fervor as they see a good vs. evil battle.
Do any of these points make any sense to you? Any of them?

@OP Anybody who wants to nullify Trump's or government's authority, needs to start making private Bitcoin or altcoin transactions for all money transacting that they do. Why? Because all government/Trump money is borrowed from the banks. Difficult to do at this late stage, because the banks have been given so much authority over our lives. But if you want to correct it, you have to start. And crypto is a way.

Being woke means you are aware when systems are not working for you. Systems of top down control and extraction require people to be asleep and divided. He lied about most of those things. We are literally at war whether he he wants to call it a simple "incursion" or not. Trump has never experienced a consequence in his life "persecuted for unfair reasons"? Really? Even now you believe this? He is an elite. Maybe he wasn't accepted by the .0001% who influence world doings but he sure is pulling strings now and what a fucked up job of that he's doing. Next time humanity elects a leader with nuke direct access codes... maybe we choose better [if we get the chance]

You really can't figure out he was the ONLY guy in New York to be persecuted for taking out a loan and paying it back with interest? I don't think you care whether it was persecution or not, you just hate Trump and want him in prison regardless of the merits of the case. I'm sorry but the fact that he was persecuted is just a historic matter of record. And the very fact you have me defending Trump once again, is one of the reasons for his support. People see that people like you just plain hate him without cause as I just explained, again, with detail, and they rally against injustice by supporting Trump. The problem here is that you attack Trump for the reason he is legally attacked with persecution, because you have been blinded by hatred. If you actually attacked Trump for good reasons you'd be getting somewhere with this. There are millions of ex-Trump supporters who are now against him, and you mentioned exactly ZERO reasons they jumped ship. Zero. Focus.

Hopefully future generations vote wiser.

Aw... why do you jokers pick on Trump? He's just one guy. I know why. We have a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and it is so much easier (and more fun) to pick on somebody, than it is to pick up your share of governing and do something useful. After all, that's what Trump did, and they made him President for it. I DGAF about the profits of greedy corporations who doge their taxes and thrive on government subsidies while exploiting humanity. I don't plan to be useful to any of them. I have no desire to prosper off of a system built to extract and exploit. I will say this with all the compassion I can muster for today just for you BD: if anyone who calls themselves Christian actually listened to what Jesus said; we wouldn't be having these nonsensical conversations. 1. Trump is a successful business man as measured by an increase in net wealth. His primary business was real estate, not education, which to my knowledge is not considreed to have been fraudulently gained even by Democrats, let alone the people who are strong supporters.

All of that before the election. <---- matter of record for the history books. Add the Epstein files. Most of that came before his 1st election. Maybe some of you are ok with all that? And to that I sincerely say: fuck off. Add January 6th 2021 He has put untrained wannabe militarized ICE agents in the streets of a free country. His donors are building detention centers -for their profit at taxpayer expense to violate our countries constitution in what I consider to in inhumane ways. He has stoked bigotry and divisions that we have also seen before in history. Trump raised our national debt by the most amount since WW2 while cutting social programs. Trump has staffed our cabinet with "yes men" who are also failing. Trump has estranged my country from our allies. Trump has brought us to war. Caroasi, you seem unaware of PERCIEVED political persecution used as a tool and this type of tool has also been used throughout history. They were not tough enough on him, he should have gone to prison not in the office of president. But this is privilege and corruption on display. "I" have you defending Trump? You can't control yourself? Who gives a fuck what I think? Right? Even Tucker Carlson is waking up https://www.youtube.com/shorts/FAWa2ytrJEYStay anti-woke. Just know that the "ingroup" always shrinks. Trump is a symptom of a corrupt system. That system is either in the process of correcting itself or failing. Not just in America. Aw... why do you jokers pick on Trump? He's just one guy. I know why. We have a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and it is so much easier (and more fun) to pick on somebody, than it is to pick up your share of governing and do something useful. Decades ago, my dad worked for a big corporation, in the finance department. He understood - possibly the only one who did - just where their profits sat. One of his favorite lines was, "The company is succeeding in spite of management." Wake up and learn how to use THE MAXIMS OF LAW to keep government people from messing with you. You kinda hit the nail on the head. There wouldn't be any high-profit corporations if the people didn't support them by buying their products. This includes all of government's silly laws that don't apply to you by at least having your name on them. It might be difficult, but stop using Fed fiat, and start using decentralized crypto. Then you wouldn't have to keep on spouting your nonsense. What nonsense? Trying to change the system while at the same time using it and supporting it.
Being woke means you are aware when systems are not working for you. Systems of top down control and extraction require people to be asleep and divided. He lied about most of those things. We are literally at war whether he he wants to call it a simple "incursion" or not. Trump has never experienced a consequence in his life "persecuted for unfair reasons"? Really? Even now you believe this? He is an elite. Maybe he wasn't accepted by the .0001% who influence world doings but he sure is pulling strings now and what a fucked up job of that he's doing. Next time humanity elects a leader with nuke direct access codes... maybe we choose better [if we get the chance] That none of these points make any sense to you means you have no interest in understanding why Trump has a group of passionate followers. You will never understand while you have no interest in understanding. And the fact you can't even recognize what political persecution is, is quite scary... a very dangerous mentality. The attorney general literally campaigned on prosecuting Trump, then picked a "crime" in which the "victim" said they were happy with their dealings with Trump.... taking out a loan that he paid back with interest. Zero. Focus. Trump is a 38 time Convicted Felon, adjudicated rapist who says when you're rich you can grab 'em by the ______ "they just let you" and bragged about peeping on his naked pageant contestants (some of those being under age) because he could. This applies to governments all around the world, especially the ones that say they work for the people. Hey, everybody is a symptom of corruption. Even the best Bible people prove this by dying in their time. The thing we need to do is stop complaining, and seek Jesus's approval by filling on the words of the Bible, and then doing what we filled on.

The OP sounds like they suffer from trump derangement syndrome. Most anti trump "cult members" have this syndrome. I had it myself for a long while and it eventually wore off after I realised all politicans are the same but it can linger like long covid causing the mind to be clouded and confused about the crazy world we live in today.
OP mainly hates trump because of his appearance which is also another form of discrimination based on that persons age, weight etc so the OP should stop being an ageist fat phobic nasty person. It is not nice to be an ageist and fat phobic person. It is no better than being a racist xenophobe.
I might begin to like trump again when he punishes Dr Fauci for torturing those animals though.

I don't 'just' complain ;-) As for Jesus, that's between me and them. I was wrong regarding bitcoin because I thought adoption was a good thing. Why do you come to a cryptocurrency forum? On the Politics board?

I have highly relevant questions but you just talk past me with a laundry list rant, exactly the attitude that gets Trump more support. I honestly believe if everyone who hated Trump as much as you do just could actually see the other perspectives involved, like by actually listening and understanding the other sides, and acknowledge good points, then you'd actually be able to convince people not to support Trump. Ignoring good when it exists, but always acknowledge any remote hint of bad as definitely true is not going to get you in a good place. Its one thing to throw mud and see what sticks at your opponent, but its another to just think that every drop of mud always sticks... that is just plain incorrect. Prosecution of things that are normally not prosecuted, against a declared enemy, is hardly prosecution and definitely persecution. Do you agree or disagree?

At this moment in time, with all the information that is widely available, if a person has not yet come the conclusion of how destructive and foul Trump is as a leader AND still wants to in any way support him. I'm not the one. I have zero respect for that perspective. I gave you 1/10th of the laundry list (that YOU asked for) and you called it a rant. You want serious engagement, as if anyone is under some obligation to address your "highly relevant questions"? Get some relevant questions. Meanwhile... shout your support for him from the rooftops. We are facing global war and potential famine for the egos of dark men. No good points to outweigh that for me. The leader of the free world is threating war crimes by tweet and social media. There is no mud, there is enough shit and filth to cover the earth right now. If you want to revel in how warm and cozy the shit is as one of its good points, you are as free as anyone to do so but you'll still be covered in shit to me. *now that was a bit of rant ;-)
