What is the best solution for launching projects?

From what I see, to develop a serious cryptocurrency project, you need a minimum capital of at least US$100,000. Now, let's be realistic: whether you're a company or have contacts with investors and are in the middle of this, how many hundreds of very interesting projects are there every month? Sure, some are just scams, but among those, how many are serious and could become an investment or add value to the ecosystem?

In 2017, I imagined it would be possible to do something like Bitcoin and that it could be done in the same way, but the reality is brutal. The truth is that there's no way to do something like that without a heavy investment, servers, nodes, a whole ecosystem that will initially require a lot of money. Nowadays, you need to list on well-known, reliable, and regulated exchanges, and for that you need to pay a fee that in some exchanges starts at US$10,000, plus liquidity fees.

I had a lot of prejudice against pre-ICOs, or pre-mined coins, but if you don't have the capital to seriously move a project forward, what do you do? What are the options?

Wait for the community, where there are all sorts of people whose intentions you don't know? Hope for good faith? There are many who sabotage projects, make false accusations, and use that to copy projects; I've seen this happen dozens of times.

Would the best way be to raise investment? Sell pre-mined coins? Pre-ICO? What would your idea be? Are there more viable solutions?

I think launching projects now is harder than ever, just because of the current market saturation. The majority of launched projects are no longer effective, and the standard do tasks and get rewarded approach is largely nonexistent or doesn't help projects move forward. There should be a novel approach, and hopefully it clicks with the market.

What I'm thinking of is something that is along the lines of open-source and delaying the drop or something. Maybe you could check that out.

if listing your token to an exchange is already a pain but don't give up yet.
there are too many projects these days, you can't possibly create a unique one anymore that is why tokenization of real world assets (RWA) is coming in already.

maybe building a company with hard assets, physical infrastructures and so on will do. and then tokenize the business.  this eliminates the doubt you are a fake project.

I've been paying attention over the past few years, and what's proven to boost a project's chances of becoming a successful project in terms of valuation is having connections with prominent crypto figures and VCs, or even having them involved structurally.

Without that, even serious projects might progress slowly or even stagnate. This doesn't mean they have no chance at all, but the reality is that the real competition is visibility.

Only some projects were serious about creating something. The rest was just trying to be exist scam. Plenties of project raised 7 - 8 figs from CV, but they cease their operation due to the lack of operational budged, which i guess most of them are only scamming.

If you don't have capital, then appli for a mentor ship from exchange sites program. Binance has been binance academy, which let a project with limited fund to get mentorship and funding by them. So it offers an opportunity for a project with good innovation, but lack of infra.

If you have a solid one, then start to send an application to VC. You can also try to tell your intention to do launchpad on exchange site, it will help you to raise fund.

Starting with a project as a product or service and then scaling to cryptocurrencies, like tokenization?

None of them but connections. You see that there are new projects that have been packed with budget and backed by investments but they're like just the quick cash grab projects because of the intention of the developers. But if a developer is serious, they'd go with the connections and try to make their project mention by a known personality in this space. Even not being mentioned, study the history of the shiba inu. It's made as a joke the same goes with dogecoin but the connection of where the huge amount of its supply was sent to Vitalik did the job.

You can always attend crypto conference, make some network and pitch your project to the reputable investors. There are tons of VC with track record of investing into small projects you just need to get one although its gonna be difficult, if they see an opportunity in your project they'd invest right away.
What matters is building your reputation, and actually building a good project.

If your project is just reinventing the wheel or anything like that, you'd hardly find any investment.
