Trading is too complex for me to want to make it my main source of income. But I like trading as one of the activities I can do. So for me, trading is more of a hobby than a way to earn money. Quitting your job for trading is definitely not a good idea, because trading will not provide you with a stable fixed income every month.
I believe that's basically just possible for folks who believe they have already perfected their skills and are sure of long term profitable in their trading. But for regular traders who are still trying to get a hang of the market, quitting their job just to depend solely on their trading would eventually turn out to be the worst decision ever.

I understand what you're saying, when someone is mature in terms of skills and knowledge then they are worthy of making trading their sole job, but actually this is still not really recommended because the market will always be risky regardless of how much knowledge you have, there will always be a point where your predictions are wrong or losses caused by those who suddenly lose control, especially for beginners, this is really not recommended because in the end it will only trigger a big disaster to come.

Being confident in your skill and experience is not enough to guarantee that you can make a profit from trading. I think those who want to quit their job to trade fulltime need to prove they can generate consistent profit in the long term, rather than just relying on belief.

However, even if they could do that, I do not think they should quit their job to become fulltime trader. Because the market is always fluctuating and changing, and there is no guarantee they can remain profitable forever.
it is best not to quit your job, imo.

It is risky due to the fluctuation of market prices. Therefore, even skilled traders cannot make accurate decisions. And the main purpose of those who are skilled and experienced is not to avoid making wrong decisions and to make a profit, but to ensure that even if the decision is wrong, they do not suffer a big loss and do not affect them. The idea of choosing trading as a profession is not entirely logical. Because there is no guarantee of stable income. As a profession, we basically understand where the money we need to live will come from. Therefore, it is risky to take it as the main source of income without sufficient experience. Especially if there is no other alternative income system. And if there is no such thing as a job, it may not be possible to handle the stress. Therefore, not following these can be more dangerous for beginners and beginners should never consider it as a way of income. And even if you enter trading, it will be an emergency and it is safe to have an alternative income system. Therefore, such risky investments are not applicable to everyone.

It is okay to inspire from successful traders because i am sure when they were invite you to joining crypto world and became an the trader they will give positive advices but if you were thinking about the profit only i am sure this is the biggest mistakes because successful traders have received plenty of loses before they success and these traders also can restore their mentally from those loses and became an success trader so, it won't be easy to achieve their achievement

But if there is influencer who advices you to quit from your actual job and focus on trading i think you shouldn't be listen to them because this advice is clearly wrong because trading is uncertain jobs which you never know when you will lost and i think OP is too dare to quit from his current job because there is no guarantee he will became an successful trader and what i was fear is in trading he fail and lost all of his money and if this is happen the worst thing is he will be jobless and don't have money anymore

Best thing about trading is that trades (trading with crypto) happen all day long. If you work 9 to 5, you dont need to quit your job to trade 9 to 5. After person is done with his primary job, he still has plenty of time to trade crypto. Before quitting work, everyone have enough time to test their skill in trading. Not sure that everyone need to be a daily trader. Imo it is enough to find few tokens or coins to buy from time to time, and hold for some period. In fact, I think in crypto we earn more with time, now during daily trading. So there isnt so necessary to quit job.

No, not at all.
Sharing my own experience, I was working in a well paid job and the salary was enough to meet my needs. Also, I was saving extra money every month. During this job I used to watch various videos on youtube about trading and a lot of greed developed inside me.
Unfortunately, I gave up my job and started watching those trading videos regularly. I especially watch interviews with successful traders who are earning millions of taka per month from trading. I started trading mainly because of these false hopes and to be honest I lost a lot of money. But I learned a lot from my mistakes that will help me do better in crypto in the future.

Have you had any such experiences in your life?
I once almost made the same decision as you, Op. But fortunately, I had a mentor, who is also a close friend, who warned me not to make that decision. So I ended up keeping my job and only trading in my spare time. My motivation back then to trade full-time was seeing that friend of mine, who is indeed a fairly successful day trader.
However, I also recently found out that he had even nearly gone bankrupt in the early days due to his recklessness. So he reminded me that trading isn’t as easy as it seems. Even professional traders need years to truly mature in every aspect. and the hardest part is achieving psychological maturity.

And it turns out there are quite a few people with the same experience as me. Even some of my coworkers in the same field were on the verge of quitting their jobs just to dive into trading full-time. But well, he said he didn’t get permission from his family to quit his job.

I think your experience should indeed serve as a lesson for everyone who has ever had the same thought. Because most of us, when we first got into crypto, felt invincible, especially when we succeeded in our early trades. And sometimes that makes us overconfident.

Exactly as I said above, the point is not to make trading your sole source of income. The reason is clear because we cannot fully predict where the price will move. Besides that, we as humans cannot always fully control ourselves. This means that there will always be moments when we might lose control and of course, this can cause huge losses because your trading is not based on a clear and calm mind but because of lust. In the end, you will most likely go bankrupt and your head will definitely ache because of the difficulty in meeting your living needs. Therefore, to minimize this terrible situation, it is better to make trading a side activity.

I also agree with you, for those who have not yet fully learned trading or are only in the learning stage, quitting their jobs will be the biggest mistake of their lives.
You are still in the learning stage, that is, you have not yet learned trading, and at the same time you are not yet sure whether you will be able to survive at all, but despite this uncertainty, if we decide to quit our source of income, that is, our job, then we will fail in all aspects.

Quitting a job at the learning stage of trading is not the right decision at all, first we have to learn trading and make sure that we can now make more profit than loss. That is, out of 10 trades, we can profit in 7 and lose in 3, only then should we consider deciding to quit our jobs and fully attention to trading. But never at the learning stage, because there are many who learn trading and still cannot survive, so quitting a job is a very risky decision.

Before someone becomes successful they usually go through many failures and if a trader can learn from those failures they can become successful. We don’t need to quit our jobs to become successful traders, because leaving a job creates financial pressure. That pressure can push you to trade too often, turning you into a day trader and we know that most day traders lose money.

Just because some people succeed as traders without a stable job doesn’t mean everyone will have the same outcome as we know everyone path is different. I agree that it’s wrong to give that kind of advice and that’s why we should remind others not to be greedy when trading or think it’s easy because in reality it isn’t.

I started trading with my saved $1,000. After watching many videos on YouTube especially stories about making quick profits from futures trading I got carried away by greed and decided to start futures trading. But the reality was completely different. Because I didn’t properly understand risk management, I eventually lost all my money to liquidation. It felt really bad at the time, but that’s when I realized my mistake. After that, I decided to quit futures trading. Now I only do small spot trades. Alhamdulillah, I’m doing well now. I no longer treat trading as my main source of income; instead, I take it as an extra source of income. From this experience, I’ve learned one important thing don’t trade with greed. With patience and proper understanding, it’s possible to survive in the market.

We're in that period that whatever people sees which is good way of earning online, they'd go for it. This is what desperation made for many of us. They saw good and profitable traders, they copy it. They saw content creators who like to get clout from their fans and make themselves look as good traders, they making it look easy for their fans. There are people who are for trading but as they continue their path with it, they'll see that it's not for all. Whoever is profitable in trading is living their lives and they are not showing how much money they've lost before becoming profitable and what are the sacrifices that they have made to achieve whatever they have right now. As for them, they don't even quit their jobs or hustles.

First before going into trading always bring it to your noticed that you are going into something with high risk . So the best way to survive , is to play it safe and try to understand how it works before taken any proper risk , many usually go into trading without having the right knowledge or information on how it works , and they usually regret it most time . I also learned the hard way though , I experienced countless losses before I realized that I can’t scale through trading with are being well equipped with the right knowledge.

Most people see trading as easy and start without any preparation or knowledge in the hope of quick profits, but they ignore the reality, and this is the only reason for their losses. If we continue trading with the wrong mindset, it will definitely not be possible to survive here for a long time, and if we do not understand this simple thing, then we are a foolish and stupid person. Before starting trading, we should understand the risk well, how the market moves, how to use our strategy, how to research the market, we should understand all these things well. It is very important to develop a mentality of learning with patience over a long period of time, there are many things to understand here, because here a small mistake can lead you to failure.

Trading is too complex for me to want to make it my main source of income. But I like trading as one of the activities I can do. So for me, trading is more of a hobby than a way to earn money. Quitting your job for trading is definitely not a good idea, because trading will not provide you with a stable fixed income every month.
Some people see trading as an easy task, most of the people that you going to see them leave their job just because they trading don’t even have much knowledge about trading, some of them depends on trading signals to trade, and they still going to leave their job. Trading is not so easy, and if you are not careful you can easily lose everything you have when trading, you won’t have choice than to start afresh.

Many people think crypto trading is very easy to make money, it's like a money machine to them. In fact, they may have seen another successful trader who has shown that it is possible to make a lot of money from trading. They start trading in a hurry but do not realize that trading is highly risky; if they begin without long-term practice and solid knowledge, they will face significant losses. They basically start trading by being influenced by paid signal sellers, who brainwash them into thinking. If you apply their tips, you can easily make a lot of profit. Many people leave their high-paying jobs and join the trading industry. But when they see many losses in trading, they lose everything and have no way to recover; they realize that trading is not easy and that leaving their job for it is a big mistake.

I have not had such experience in life before, but I don't think I could quit my job for trading,  because without that job where would I earn money to invest on trade, so you see you get money to look for money, and also every business or investment as a risk but the successful ones are those who are willing to take that risk and also be patient for it to grow despite falling several times, you just have to stood up and faced the challenges.

But seriously when you go online you will see different traders with different views on how they become successful in life by trading, definitely their earnings will move you to be part of it too, but remember in life we should also think deep and remember where we started from and not to be blind by what we see online, sometimes this people also face alot of losses but not all of them will show you thier lost, but rather will only tell you there successful part. So we should not be blinded by our greediness. That's why they said invest wise by what you know you can lose, and having such mindset, you are good to go.

If we look around then there are more stories of losses in trading then profits but newbies just focus on success stories and start trading with no preparation. You will get big blow in trading if you invest huge money straight away and you also don't have much experience in handling the wildfire of trading. There is no one who we can call as perfect trader because there is possibility of getting loss at anytime in trading. Risk awareness regarding trading is very important before you start doing it otherwise it will be a bitter experience.

Trading should be a part time job and not a full time job because you cannot always make profits in the long run. A professional trader doesn't trade often because too much trading will definitely affect your decisions and lead you to losses. Trading is highly risky because you are trying to gamble with the price wave of the market therefore, it should be done carefully.

Even a profitable trader is not sure of making profit all the time, so is that what we should be quiting our job for? No, because trading is not like a job or business were your income comes in regularly, but in trading you earn by performance, so if you start trading because of one pressing financial needs, that alone will put you under pressure that may warrant you to take any trade you see, even though the set up is not that clear, so it's not a good thing to rely only on trading alone because it's going to make you to trade under pressure.

Trading is not a way to make money quickly, so quitting your job in a hurry is a completely wrong decision. Usually, you have to quit your job at a point when even if you lose your job, you can get money regularly from other sources. No matter how good a person is at trading, he can never guarantee his income. That is why suddenly deciding to quit your job will have a very bad and negative impact. We have to make a realistic decision, if we decide to quit our job on emotion, it will create more problems. Learn trading first, many people cannot get themselves to a good position even after spending a long time, because they give up before that, so there is no guarantee that you will definitely succeed after leaving your job. So think realistically and first acquire skills and then think about your financial situation well and then think about quitting your job.
