I do agree that it’s somewhat profitable now trading this oil as the conflict is not yet resolved bit since Trump already give an ultimatum to Iran to open the Strait I think it’s already dangerous to trade oil now as there will be a volatility and mixed action on the price depending on what will be the outcome today.

I’d rather gamble on table games which I enjoy playing instead of losing my money to uncertainty on what will be the outcome of US move to Iran.

OK got you. I should probably be clear, Trading oil and gas is not a guaranteed way to make profit.

That said, I genuinely think the opportunity to be profitable in these markets has never been better than right now. The volatility is insane, and price reactions have become extremely predictable at times,  especially after statements or tweets from figures like Donald Trump.

Of course, it’s still risky,  but for traders who understand momentum and news impact, this environment is gold.

If you already feel addicted, you certainly already know what to do to avoid falling into your addiction. 
Trading offers something different from gambling. If you are only looking for adrenaline, you can also get it from other things. Some gamblers may only be seeking adrenaline, and they can do it by trading. Although sometimes the result is, in fact, gambling with trading. 
But gamblers play games and place bets. There is pleasure gained besides expecting profit.

As much as I want it, I don't know how to do it. Because it seems that information is spread on the internet and can know if there will be some pumps or dumps on the upcoming days. While it's not a guarantee but bringing this up is a good idea now when oil prices are continue to increase. But with just one good/bad news then it's also as volatile as Bitcoin. Think of it, why we gamble and why we trade because these two have the same thing in common and whichever we chose to do, they both have risk to be taken by us.

I think, this critical but oil, gas business will not be very easy and profitable. Because if you fail to make quick decisions, destruction will not take long. so i have It is important to avoid things that are too volatile. I have never traded in oil and have no interest in doing so. The oil and gas market is currently the most exciting. So its price is changing very fast. So even if you are always observing, you cannot control yourself.

Looks like an invitation to something that is better than gambling in casinos, show us something to generate our interest, like profitability, and the same adrenaline, and of course, transactions. I've never traded this before, but given the current market conditions and high volatility, I don't think it's worth the risk unless you're doing it for fun with no expectation of profit.

Unless you have a specific experience this is just another fuzzy/random gambling way.
The only problem could be the insider trading that you are not aware of it. It could be easy get liquidated or just achieve a big lose without any chance to recover.
Anyway I don't like this kind of gambling. there is just a small "window for winning" and mostly of players are not aware of it.

Op has you gone to trading department of the Cryptocurrency Business? You have left gambling foe now. All the projects you said, you would brought, we have not seen anyone or it wasn't you? Op you have to know that gambling is much more easier to do than trading. If someone teaches you how to gamble, it would not take much time before you can gamble but foe trading it will be days, weeks or months. And to make profit is not easy but if you are making profit in trading, that is nice for you. Even when I trade, I have not traded with oil and gas and I will never trade with them.

Well, if I'd works for you then by all means you can give it a try, I'm saying that because what works for you might not really work out for someone else. There are people that have gained from gambling and also people that have tried to trade oil and gas but they lost money. There are no guarantees of getting rich through this, trading isn't certain.

I have been of the school of thought that trading and gambling may bear same financial risk, but in model and design, they are completely different.
One should use a trading platform for trading and gambling platforms for gambling, but in the case as this where a gambling platform has a game like oil & gas involved, with a different strategy of play, it still qualifies as a gambling game instead of trading.

It's like a gold rush but done online. And so, you're right that this is where people will choose to pick up money if they know how to do it.

The news are everywhere and that can be used as indicators, just like what we've seen today. What Iran has done is about cutting all ties with the US after Trump announced of annihilating Iran as a civilation.

That's too much to say for Trump but this means that we'll see how this war will stay for so long.

It's like you don't get it, people likes slots and roulette, not even oil and gas can make them switch.

I saw a guy shorted Oil with $4m after Whale posted about it and 4 hours later, he lost everything in the end. He didn't make any money and at the same time he lost the entire money. In everything you want to do, just becareful, thag guy shorted oil thinking it was a bubble that will collapsed later but instead the outcome was horrible as the war turned out to be longer than what many people expected and how US has refused to let Iran go.

The best way to enjoy this kind of things is to understand what's happening deeply, some people are trading oil based on what they see on the social network and not what is happening deep down. The only best way you can enjoy oil trade is if you have access to accurate information, you know if US were going to attack Iran or if Iran were going to give US sleepless night but I doubt if it's possible to get accurate information that are confidential to the public.

Who’s trading it?

Trading without direction is equal to addiction just like you will lose in gambling if you are not probably guided. To trade you need the kind of indicators that are not lagging. It is not about how many barrels of crude that is going into the market or how much is costing or the news of Iran blocking strait of Hormuz and it possible impact on global economy, it is beyond that. You need indicators to analyse your direction. Gambling too has its own analytical methods and so it is about what you have joy in. Some do better in trading while others do better while gambling, same adrenaline rush because your money is involved.
