Don't get this wrong, if you are interested in trading, there are many assets commodities whereby you can use for your traits around the world and they are of high value, search me streams from the oil and gas you mentioned or gold, which are part of investment we do in order to make sure we earn something from them, but when we are talking of gambling, this is entirely difference because the purpose for us to gamble is for an entertainment and not for an investment, so a trader can also gamble and at the same time someone that is a gambler may also decided to trade any assets along the line, while each serving different purpose.

I don't really know anything about investing in oil and gas for those who want to invest and have no idea i think they should make enquiries on they can invest on it, and in gambling area i didn't see it as where i'll make money from it because i'm not addicted to gambling and i only focus on sports betting and not on regular basis.

Excuse me, but I have not even gotten to use prediction market yet, so trying a bet on gas or oil really is not my concept of a "fun".

Answer me... are you finding this fun because it is actually exciting or just because you are make a goods profit? Could you have fun with it even if you were losing money? Because I have fun with gmalbing, both winning and losing money.

Anyway, I do not want to confront you, I just think that your concept of fun is a bit distorted and maybe you are confusing it with the ecstasy of financial profit.

Who’s trading it?

It all depend on your experience in the business, you can’t just go in now and make it easily unless if you are lucky, and even at that, you need to have learned a lot before you can comfortable rely on the trade.
Oil and gas market has become important lately due to the Middle East crisis, se people take it as an opportunity to make some money, while some are losing money in the trade.


Price volatility is something one need to take good care off because it is very risky to make the right decision if you are not an expert, and even experts sometimes make mistakes which result into lose of money.
If you don’t know how to trade oil and gas or any other stock, I will advice you still to your normal gambling or crypto trading.

I'm having fun with gambling and not trading to get profits. If I want to trade, I know where to go. Trading is also risky with no guarantee of profit which is why I love to invest than trading. Only if you want to gamble with the oil market price wave. Don't trade with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.

There is obviously no doubt that trading is better than gambling for profitability, which means that if someone is gambling so that they can make money from it, they should obviously stop gambling and start learning about crypto trading and they might actually make some money from there because gambling means to try your luck, if your luck favours you, you might win something, but if it doesn't, you will lose all the time, and even those who manage to win in gambling will eventually lose everything back in the long run if they continue gambling. This is why we often say that gambling is not a way to make money.

One thing that everyone needs to understand that you can't make money from anything unless you have a lot of knowledge and experience in that area. Someone who is gambling cannot suddenly start making money if they get into trading because trading requires extensive knowledge and understanding of the markets in which you are willing to make your trades, whereas gambling doesn't need any of that, but gambling also doesn't guarantee profits, but in trading, you can make money if you are knowledgeable and experienced. So it will take some time, but if you move from gambling to trading, you will probably be on the positive side in the long run.

I expect that gambling should be different from trading and they all come from different through which we can go for what we want, let's not try to bring them together because gambling is not the same as trading, that is why we have to understand the differences in everything we do, even though there is the way we can trade and seem to be gambling with our fund because of the risk that may be involved, but still yet, trading entirely must not be taken for gambling and same also for gambling not to be trading.

I don’t think anyone accustomed to gambling would take on a job that requires them to track charts all day, even if they knew it offered a better chance of making more money. If you’re trading, you probably don’t get much immediate enjoyment from looking at charts. But in gambling, you do. If you’re looking to make more money, you can trade the currency pairs you’re experienced with, but I don’t think you’ll be able to attract a gambler to your side.

Who’s trading it?

I don't trade anymore, I've given up on it a long time ago. I will not trade oil and gas because I don't have the time or inclination to be attending to my trades. I gamble exactly when I want and for how long I want but trading doesn't operate like that as you've to be available to attend to your trades when it's favorable.

Gambling is a recreational activity for me but trade can never fit in that category. Maybe you've the time and availability to trade, but I cannot say so for myself, so I stick with my gambling with my budget.

Who’s trading it?

Is trading oil and gas that easy as you think, it's for professionals not just for anyone, what works for you might not work for others.
Gambling is for entertainment and relaxation not a business, we gamble for the fun of the game which we will not be hurt because we already know what we are into unlike trading that you don't know what and how the outcome would be, it is better you do what you understand the best than you go into what you don't know or sure of.

I've done this before, but I wasn't very successful at it. I think that's why I stopped: I was just wasting time and money.

Sure, if you know your commodities and all the movements, it's a very profitable business or investment. But, it's better to have someone on the inside to be sure about making money with high assurance. Not all are gambling because they are trying to make a profit every day. Some just want better entertainment by adding risk to the game. Sports, specifically. Sometimes, the game is not that fun anymore, and putting a bet will make it colorful.

Who’s trading it?

Both gambling and the trading of oil/gas come with their own risk, but it depends on how you choose your own risk, and what you have interest in.
The only difference is that in gambling, you're playing against the house edge, while you're trading with a market maker in the oil/gas market.
Having said that, spending more than 5 minutes per day to check what's going on in the world does not justify trading oil and gas to be profitable due to how President Trump is using his statements to manipulate the market lately.

So do you gamble on commodity trading? just like people gamble on altcoins with higher volatility? wow, trading and gambling should not be in the same boat because it has to separate different connotations, the objectivity of adrenaline in trading and gambling is definitely different even though it has high adrenaline because it talks about money being played there.
If you get info faster than others then your trading might be more profitable but if not you will just follow the rest of the movement of those institutions in commodity trading, at least besides money you should also have A1 info as the most important indicator of what is happening in the world, in a world full of narrative wars and hoaxes, it is not as simple as you say it is.

Eye on latest news can be a much better measure of success than merely the size of the money invested in the stock exchange. The present-day information war requires psychological preparedness and acute awareness in identifying the truth and falsehood in world economic stories. It is a big error to equate trading to gambling, because it is a very considered technical analysis process. The approach will see to it that all investment decisions are well-founded.

Trading has made people bankrupt. Gambling requires little or no skill to engage in. But in trading, if you are not skillful you will keep losing until your wallet or account becomes empty. Gambling also requires little funding to enjoy. Some people have been fortunate to win big in the lottery or sports betting with small amounts. But trading requires more money to gain profit.  You would never win big in trading if you don't put in large funds.

Why can't we just focus on what we are doing because there's no how that everyone us will do the same thing about that is absolutely not possible at all. If you look at oil price action before volatility kicks in, it can be quite boring. So if you're just looking for adrenaline gambling might feel more exciting.

Exactly, both trading and gambling are risky and anyone you choose to do depends on you and what exactly you want. The thing is, the thrill people get from gambling is very fast and you can get multiple times in one day even and if you have enough money for it, you can have the thrill as much time as you want but trading Oil and gas, hmm, i mean, i haven't checked it out but i doubt the thrill is as quick as gambling.

Also gambling is pretty much easy to learn, you can download a betting app today and by the end of the day you can place a bet and even earn big or lose (i mean, its gambling) but trading needs time to learn first betting making real trade, so again the speed of the thrill is just different.

Keep enjoying the gains until you are convinced that it is so easy, then you decided to go all in so you get rich, from there you will understand that it is not as easy as you think. Gambling and trading have the same risk factor and I think gambling is easier than trading because gambling is easily controlled and I can gamble with me small capital unlike trading where you will need certain amount of equity to trade which makes the risk high than that of gambling. No matter how good and easy you make trading look, I will stick with gambling.

Actually, one can use markets like the old and gas market in order to gamble. One does not even need to have much money or knowledge on what one is doing in order to gamble away money on oil and gas.

One just needs to have an account, some capital and ask for leveraged positions, sit down and see what happens next. One is not trading for the sake of profit, one can waste money in markets, in the same manner one would do it on a casino.

Actually, one of the biggest criticisms brokers and exchanges have received lately this decade has been because of how alike they can be to casinos.
