Honestly the gas and oil market has a serious adrenaline just like crypto but still yet there is alot risk in it an little mistake can cost money quick if you don't treat with caution or if you aren't careful enough. I will say that if you're trading do not let excitement take over you, always be calm if possible always watch the news for new updates or current situation on ground

Don't get this wrong, if you are interested in trading, there are many assets commodities whereby you can use for your traits around the world and they are of high value, search me streams from the oil and gas you mentioned or gold, which are part of investment we do to make sure we earn something from them, but when we are talking of gambling, this is entirely difference because the purpose for us to gamble is for an entertainment and not for an investment, so a trader can also gamble and at the same time someone that is a gambler may also decided to trade any assets along the line, while each serving different purpose.

Comparing gambling with investment in assets is somewhat not a balanced argument if I must confess because investment risk is far lower and encouraged more than gambling risk where you can lose everything in a spot, just as said gambling outside fun and entertainment is already a risk too much to take,, since you are bound to lose and guided to keep losing if you try to recover your capital.

Investment remains no matter the value of your assets, all that you need to get profits from an investment is time and nothing more.

Trading whatever assets that are volatile e.g cryptocurrency,  oil and gas, is risk combined and you should know that losing will not be far from you most especially when you use leverage in trading them.

You should also know that the volatility from those assets are caused by physical factors which the average citizen dont have control over and we definitely can't always predict what will happen next. Even experts have some difficulties in making good predictions so how do you expect an average person to get it right all the time. Well from what I know, trading has no certainty so when trading you also have to be careful and make use of proper risk management just like gambling so you dont end up losing more than you can afford to lose. A friendly advice OP, never put too much trust on those news because asset like oli and gas can be manipulated easily.

Altough oil and gas nowadays is somehow having great demand, I think I will pass for it does not meet my criterion as gambling.  It is trading and I think I'd rather play slots than trading oil because gambling in slots gives me a higher multiplier if I really get lucky than just trading with oil and gas.

If we do not know what we are doing when trading oil and gas, I think it can be viewed as gambling since we do not apply the basic analysis and just put random orders depending on what we like.

Gambling and trading are very different activities not only in how they work and what one should do to approach one or the other, but also in their nature. It depends on the country, but in general you can gamble without much problem if you are +18, but trading can be more difficult because you must have an account, trade through a broker or another intermediary, and I will not talk about taxes.

What're you talking about? Has the oil and gas trading become too easy to trade on like that whereas traders on 5 times trial daily stands in the position to win other rounds?
If not for the title of this thread, I don't even know how this post is related to gambling but anyways, I choose to gamble because I enjoys the game and not specifically playing to make profits which is why I bets with spare funds.
Trading on the oil and gas has no accompany with gambling other than a resourceful prediction market.
In fact, I've no intention of trading oil and gas while gambling is already projected to get me riding on the entertainment events.

Still, I can't because I find it risky and there's still a possibility of losing. Things can still go wrong in such trading, it's not as simple as you have made it sound and I would like to see some proof of how well it's going at least for encouragement. ‎

Secondly, the trade can favour you but might not favour the next person. Reason is, some trade or gambling can favour those first set compare to the other people that discover it late .‎Those who are interested in gambling for money can easily go for it and while going for it, just be careful and guarded.

It's a market that's booming because of the conflicts happening right now. I remember that not long ago the price was falling or stagnant. For example, during COVID, it was worth $18; it would have been good to have bought at that time, but it's difficult to predict. A tip: wait for something bad to happen and invest in oil...

Joking aside, there's no way to know which investments are the best, since most are affected by external factors. Today the oil market might be profitable; tomorrow it could be losing money. Follow the maxim: don't put all your eggs in one basket.

That’s your interest and it works fine for . Gambling is not like oil and gas flipping though you may want to rather compare oil and gas flipping to commodities market flipping.
There are so many readily for gambling just like how some people don’t do the regular casinos but choose the prediction market.

It's great if it works for you, if you really wanted the same adrenaline and insane volatility, have you heard of meme coins? You can check trading sites and sort it by gains, you'll see coins that pumps more than 100% and you know what's the best thing about it? You can use leverage. Just kidding, that's basically throwing away your money, I understand what you feel since I've been trading/scalping pumping coins before and even though you will earn x3-x5, I can guarantee that a few consecutive losses, you'll ended up losing it all but the adrenaline and addiction is there too, so beware.

Hehe big high way to financial crisis, those combinations is equal to suicide mission for that individual because he is no way going to make it out with any profits and he will lose everything, the only way to save money is to put the money down on something of value and time growing like buying Bitcoin and holding it.

I suppose it’s not entertaining because, that’s an entire market of its own which is largely impacted by world events, not the same with sports betting where you can derive a lot of fun from watching the games, constituting a strong fan base and enjoy the thrills each build up on attack brings.

Also, if what you say is that addictive, then I guess no one wants to be so addicted and the fact that you can’t get it wrong, that’s scary.

Well, good for you if you're fine with trading it but I don't think you need to press that it's the same adrenaline to what fans of the sports out here compare to that one. If you've got something that clearly gives you edge over it then I think you need to keep it yourself but thanks for sharing anyway. You could get it wrong, you don't start as an expert.

Try harder. Can't get it wrong my foot. Even somebody who's watching almost every game of a sports league, familiar with each player and their games, knows the strengths and weaknesses of teams, closely following the latest developments, and so on can't even guarantee profit.

That's a familiar exaggerated marketing line from somebody who's either selling subscriptions or offering referrals. You're the latter. But, yeah, trading oil and gas could be somebody's interest. You're not guaranteed of profit, though.

Yes, it's not for everyone, or for average joe. To be honest, I would rather take risk in gambling or sports betting. I might be familiar with the teams and players and so that makes me confident to stake on those kind of games.

But flipping or trading oil and gas, that not for everyone. And most of us might not really know how to flip with that kind of commodity.

In any case I don't have anything on members here who might want to try this one. But I'll pass.

It's really a question of whether gambling in general is better than trading a volatile asset like oil. Bitcoin has simply been stuck in a boring sideways market for too long, and gambling addicts are starved for thrills. Overall, I believe gambling is riskier than trading (and that's what attracts addicts, lol). Trading without leverage is somewhat less risky. But derivatives trading, or margin trading, is not much different from gambling.

As much as I want it, I don't know how to do it. Because it seems that information is spread on the internet and can know if there will be some pumps or dumps on the upcoming days. While it's not a guarantee but bringing this up is a good idea now when oil prices are continue to increase. But with just one good/bad news then it's also as volatile as Bitcoin. Think of it, why we gamble and why we trade because these two have the same thing in common and whichever we chose to do, they both have risk to be taken by us.

Oil prices plummeted 20% in one day. It's simply unbelievable. It's almost like gambling. How can you make money with such price fluctuations? And tomorrow Trump will say something that will send the price of this stuff soaring again. It's impossible to trade when the asset is so volatile. Even Bitcoin is nervously smoking on the sidelines. When you watch all this, you don't really have much desire to trade oil.

It shows that even this commodity is highly volatile. I think we get the courage if we ever want to trade it as well because of how we're honed doing it with Bitcoin. Both are risky and volatile but we don't get this much volatile with oil at most times. Because it's hot right now and due to war, it can move and plummet so much in less than 24 hours if some news or announcement have proclaimed. As for making money with these price fluctuations, there's no difference I think with how we do it with bitcoin, crypto, et. al.

I personally have not tried it. Anything that has to do with trading, I have to give it multiple rethinks before I can decide. It's not as I'd wish; each time you risk your few dollars on it, you will win. It's just another way of taking risk, just as we gamble, but I still prefer to stick with what I'm much more comfortable with than replacing it with oil and gas trading.
