OP, why trade oil and gas when you can trade precious metal? As you can see the options are unlimited, everyone have their own specific field for making money, they don't have to do the same thing that you are doing.

It will be a lie if I accept that trading is completely different from gambling, because they are all similar in risk to reward ratio, they are all birds of the same feather.

Yeah, options are indeed unlimited but there a unique reason why op choose oil and gas instead of those options you mentioned.
He specifically choose oil and gas due to its high level of volatility at the moment or at that moment when this topic or thread was created, and that high volatility is a clear chance of making huge profit for those who know and understand perfectly well what exactly they should do, this is why the op choose oil and gas in particular.

Well, it already pumped high. Next thing to it is maybe going down, especially after the ceasefire. So, I don't think it's a good idea anymore. Sure, there's still a chance for profit there, but you should know what you are doing. Unlike in gambling, you just press the damn button and let it roll, get lucky, and win.
The thing about trading is the necessity to know about it. You cannot just jump the gun because you saw a chance to make profits from a commodity that seems to be going up because of recent events. Plus, you might need someone to connect you to the right markets to make it happen. Unlike Bitcoin, those investments cannot easily be acquired.

Although trading looks like it is easy to make a profit which is almost the same as easy gambling but still has differences, as you said with the need to know many things to be able to make a profit.

In trading, particularly in oil and gas, it is more important to know, analyse, be disciplined, and to manage risk than to rely on luck. Many new traders give up due to gambling-like practices. Trading oil and gas is even more NOT gambling, because you cant lose completely. No matter at what price a person has purchased them, their value will never drop to zero to make it look like «bet is lost». That is the main difference for me. Like you bet on dice with 70% win chance, and even if you lose, you lose only part of your bet. As well as you can «wait» with your bet (wait until prices go up) and it magically turns into a winning even though you have lost. That is totally not gambling.

There is no marketing business digitally is easily predictable or some people think that it will be easier for them to predict like crude oil market or trading market, including gambling none of them is easy for someone to predict but some people we think that both cryptocurrency prediction and the gambling and the other kind of digital investment and forex trading is easier for somebody to predict accurately if someone should say something like that I will disagree with the person because I know quite well that all these things is not possible for somebody to predict accurately so therefore we need to know perfectly what we are doing before we go into it even in gambling we have to know the kind of things we predict

Check the timing of when the op posted this on this board; it is very much obvious that it has something to do with the Iran and USA war since it majorly affected the aforementioned sector. The price of oil and gas was highly volatile, with it changing with almost every bit of news concerning the war, which could lead to a ceasefire or the escalation of closing down oil trade passage.

Its not gambling its probability and finance is not taxed as much as gambling.   You can get tax breaks and carry losses over six years if you do it right, imagine that you dont even have to pay tax unless you really make alot and even then they get even more help to not ever pay tax.  
  The world is so nice to finance operators and traders because of government debt I think, they need the whole system to support and disseminate their never ending ramp up of public debt from never keeping a proper government budget.  Buddies on wall street get tax breaks and gamblers are made to pay like mules on a farm its not an equal system; the risks are quite similar I studied both in college and they do relate for sure.

If someone is gambling to make money and become rich through gamble, then they can rather invest in something more solid instead of trading oil and gass, they can rather invest on bitcoin or what ever they feel convinced with but going into trading when you don't understand anything about it is just as risky as gambling that has not consistent good outcome. If you wanna have fun, then you can gamble and not trade.

I think this is not about which one makes more money. Everything is certainly not easy for those who do not know. But it will become easier if you are interested in learning it. Trading is quite different from gambling and less riskier too, in trading you can stop loss and your asset can recover which will be in your favor but in gambling when you lose there is no hope of recovery, you will go all in and either win or lose. Trading is a professional job you're not entirely dependant on luck to make profit while in gambling luck is predominant, despite your skills you can lose everything. I don't think that there is any need to compare trading and gambling because they are different things, people don't trade for fun because it is a profession and a business but you can gamble for entertainment and you don't need to be a pro before you can win in gambling.

I am not sure if it is possible to trade oil and gas with crypto. I would trade gas oil or even other assets if they are available on a reputable, trusted platform where I can trade them in crypto. I mean, I can make crypto deposits and withdrawals. If I am not wrong, this is another kind of gambling as well. If you are doing it online, you are not buying oil and gas; you are actually placing bets against its price. How is this better than gambling, actually?
