I think a lot have changed in recent years, that is if you are actively monitoring people's perception about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. OP it just so unfortunate to see a lot of new members come into bitcoin investment and have a bad experience of such investment but to be honest it always their fault.
 Before one should go into something proper research and understanding is needed not especially when it deals with finance. Many new users come into bitcoin investment without really understanding the process of it, bitcoin investment is about mindset, patience and strategy. If we have the right strategy and also understands how bitcoin pair works then we wouldn’t be moved by any market manipulation because at first we are supposed to understand that bitcoin is a volatile pair and it prices moves and changes unannounced so having strategy and plans helps us to stay emotionally guided even during the dips.

 And DCA coming into the picture has made things much more interesting and easier. We can buy at any time with little we have and won’t be moved by market price.

I agree with your point on this, first of all for you to be a member of the forum it means that you are opportuned to learn certain things about Bitcoin that those that are not in the forum might not be able to learn. When I started out my Bitcoin investment I was fortunate enough to be a member of the forum and this helped me to avoid mistakes that I would have made in the past.
