You need to be patient and consistent with your investment. If you are investing in Bitcoin, don’t panic or let your emotions control you, otherwise it can stop you from investing. Your investment should be made with the funds you have left after solving other problems, so even if the price changes, you won’t panic and sell.

Better to analyze your goal, if it's for a long term or a short-term flipping of market. You can also use your bitcoin for a transaction only. Fear is what can cage someone for a long time, not to see light out of the tunnel of what they don't understand. I haven't seen someone who eliminates fear from their life by sitting down to do nothing without seeking a solution or a step they should follow.

He's got an idea now but I think that there will be some thoughts of him that will make him doubt. This happens when we're in this cycle of bearish because fear and doubt is strong at these times. They're going to think of how much they can invest with and ready to do it but upon hearing the opinion of others, this will give them the time to think that they should wait further until the price drops even more. Yeah, it's up to him but he has to act asap because we will never know how low this cycle will be but just invest what he can afford to lose and apply DCA for better optimization of his accumulation.

Exactly, you are right @JJG because one year to sell of for profit isn't investing but trading since, you will still have to become a no coiner and start waiting for the price to dip again before buying and if the price didn't dip, only God knows how long he will stay as a low coiner and that's not a good way to increase your bitcoin portfolio over time for the future.

One thing I have noticed is that some of all these old members in the forum still don't know the difference between investment and trading because they think that buying and selling within a short time frame provided they're in profit that they're investing. At least investing and hodli for one circle and above will give you more experience and put you in a better position than buying and selling for a lesser period of time. Actually you said the right thing but bitcoin is different when it comes to investing in it, bitcoin is not like the other coins that your first of all have the knowledge of it, because it has come to stay and is the best among the coin when it comes to it own advantages. I encourage any new investor that want to start investing in Bitcoin to invest based on their capacity but it have to be from your discretionary income and also build your investment alongside your emergency fund.

In my opinion, having a basic understanding of Bitcoin is indeed very important, so that we don’t panic easily over price fluctuations. But i also don’t think someone who wants to invest should wait until they feel they truly understand it or have in depth knowledge before starting to invest. As long as they have discretionary funds, they can start accumulating Bitcoin, and once the investment is underway, they can continue to learn more about Bitcoin.
