Accept whatever challenges you experience on the way for it removes fear and makes you ;

Start to invest immediately with whatever you have, don't wait for bigger Huns .

Do not invest with what you cannot afford to lose and you should invest ongoingly and continuously so that you will get to your over accumulation stage on time without delay.
Never accept defeat, always stand up quickly whenever you fall for mistakes are bound to happen and it is part of them.

Fear is the biggest problem a lot of persons have and has made them lost a lot in this life .

Firstly accept the fact that risk is part of the game and it’s normal for one to have the fear of seeing their investment value depreciating. Still don’t let to be an hindrance to your bitcoin growth , by letting fear affecting your holding like selling fast whenever there’s any slight dip . Being scared to buy more , things like this will definitely slow down the growth of your investment, with the right knowledge Bitcoin risk are quite manageable , so applying a proper risk management won’t be an issue like for instance buying with dca strategy.
The narrative of eliminating fear and start investing in Bitcoin can never be complete without bringing in the picture of investing only with a discretionary income as this means that all your other basic and essential expenses are already covered up and when you now invest from the other part of your money that is discretional I think this can take away the fear as you have nothing to worry about even in the case anything goes wrong since Bitcoin investment is not completely risk free, the DCA is recommendable as you can start to invest even with a small amount while getting other clarification.
As far as I know, every investor needs to have basic knowledge, start with small amounts and stay away from fear or panic to start investing in Bitcoin. You are right discretionary income is a very important consideration when investing in Bitcoin the truth is that with discretionary income, any investor can be free from stress and unnecessary worries, and it becomes easier to buy Bitcoin on a regular basis, perhaps on a weekly basis.

By the way, fractional amounts of Bitcoin can be purchased, which should be kept in mind if an investor is panicking before buying because it is possible to buy small shares with a small amount of money with the aim of increasing the Bitcoin savings in the portfolio, so this is a quick estimate that since the price of Bitcoin is now around 63k, at the moment, about fifteen hundred plus satoshis are available for one dollar to enrich the Bitcoin portfolio.

The rate of investing from any investor should be based on the rate and extent of his income. Not everyone can invest weekly except your income comes in weekly manner. If you plan investing on different dates outside your income period, you will find it difficult to hold onto your bitcoin for long or you find it difficult saving up your fiat up to that moment outside your payday. It's better to plan yourself against premature sales especially this period when bitcoin's volatility seems to be high.

Yes for sure this is one of the beauties of bitcoin investment since it gives you a flexible approach to owning a large stash of bitcoin in the long run because it may be nearly impossible to save up money to buy an entire 1 bitcoin at once but by buying in fractions everyone has the right to own bitcoin both rich and poor.

As someone who wants to start investing in bitcoin, you should be well aware that there is risk involved with investing in bitcoin, especially with an investment like bitcoin, considering the volatile nature of bitcoin is more important to invest in bitcoin considering long term investment to have an opportunity of having a successful investment, and you should also invest wisely by investing with a discretionary income, which means a leftover money, money that you can afford to loose, with the options I have mentioned which is investing with money you can afford to lose should be a good mindset.

Fear is the biggest problem a lot of persons have and has made them lost a lot in this life .

Start using small money first as you are just getting a good grasp of this market. Even doing financial transactions is a crucial one because one wrong move and you will lose your funds. This is why you need to be familiarize with the basics first and not rush investing your savings to something you are not yet very familiar of.

In bitcoin investment, success is never determined by the amount of money one used to invest. You can still invest small and end up not being consistent, or patient and sell at loss. Bitcoin has been proved to be a trusted and reputable cryptocurrency, that has helped so many build wealth over time. So as someone that wants to invest in bitcoin, which is recognized to be trusted, one should be ready to eliminate fear, take the risk and invest. Your mind should not be centered on investing just small because you are scared or trying to test run the investment, because that mindset seems you’re just after quick profit and if it doesn’t favour you, you then pull out. Invest with what you can, try to accumulate, be consistent, remain patience and hodl for long term, that will determine your success.
As an investor, try to keep your emotions out of your investment journey, practice self control, kickstart your investment and stay disciplined.
If someone is using risk as an excuse to justify the reason  why they are investing with wimpy amount, even though they have enough discretionary income at hand , then they should just forget about investing in bitcoin. Rather than procrastinating or finding unnecessary excuses, at the end of the day , they won't be able to build enough stash after investing for a long time because of  fear of not losing their money.  If someone isn't bold enough to make decisions that can benefit them, then  they should forget about it, because bitcoin is not looking for weak or fearful investors,  instead investors who  are ready to interact, investor more with it(but in a wise manner).

That's not a good decision to make. It doesn't matter how much you're investing from your discretionary income, what matters is consistency and persistent in your weekly DCA. Any investor that choose to be whimpy in his bitcoin accumulation is better than a no coiner and should continue to invest with that amount until, he has build his confidence in bitcoin overtime due to his experience in the market.

When he has the full confidence in bitcoin, he can increase his DCA amount and his level of aggressiveness to cover up those period that he was investing in a whimpy way. Don't discourage anyone from investing into bitcoin even though, he is buying with little amount from his discretionary income when he can buy more because a low coiner is better than a no coiner which is the reason why you're advice to just get started provided you have your discretionary income on ground.

All that you said here are true and I totally agree with it, because it's true that a whimpy investor is way better than (a no coiner) someone that is not investing at all. What's more important while accumulating bitcoin is consistency in accumulating daily, weekly or monthly, because as low as a $10 deposit into Bitcoin weekly, for a period of 10 years can generate $5200 dollar worth of Bitcoin which is a lot of money. If by then Bitcoin has risen up to $500k and above, their are chances that such person investment would have grown even further. So it's more better to be a whimpy investor than a no coiner, even though he should be more convinced about it.

I don't think your idea is right. Suppose a newbie has enough discretionary income but he has no idea about the market  would you ask him to invest a large amount in the beginning? I think that an investor should start with a small amount of money without investing a large amount, even if he has the ability. This way, over time, he will be able to increase his experience and increase the amount of investment according to his comfort. It is very natural for a new investor to be scared by the slightest fluctuation in prices. Because when the money comes from his own pocket even if the price drops by only 5%, there is a little fear and instability in his mind. This is the real difference between theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Even if a new person has enough capital, he has absolutely zero experience in handling the mental pressure of the market. So starting with a small amount also reduces the cost of mistakes. Then, when he sees a full fledged bear or bull market with his own eyes through small DCAs he will have a place of real trust in Bitcoin. Then he can gradually increase his position by understanding his own risk-taking ability. In short having extra income or money is only the first step in investing but the real game is mental preparation, regular deposit discipline and gaining real experience. So, no matter how much money you have in your pocket, taking small steps in new situations is the true identity of a conscious investor.

If you are talking about bitcoin, then a newbie that have the financial means of starting big has no reason whatsoever to be restraint in starting his investment journey all because he lacks a sense of comprehensive knowledge of the bitcoin market and ecosystem. bitcoin is not like the altcoins and meme coin that you can be afraid of getting involved at the wrong time. with bitcoin, the highest that can happen is that you might likely delay on taking out your profit and capital if the market goes down after you have made your buys but for a newbie that probably wants to accumulate more and that is just starting which means that he is still at his accumulation phase, it is even better to start with a large amount and continue from that point.

This your post does not sound responsible at all. It’s reckless for newbies to “start big” just because they have the money. Do having the money mean that they should start pouring everything in without proper risk management?
You didn’t even mention financial planning; for them to use only discretionary income to invest, and not use the money meant for emergencies or important needs. What if Bitcoin drops and they panic sell because they can’t handle volatility

A better advice is to tell them to start with amount they are comfortable using(DCA preferably), learn as they accumulate, and increase their accumulation over time(if they want) as they gather more knowledge and experience. This is a more responsible approach

In order to start investing in bitcoin all you need is discretionary funds.

There is no need to add additional and vague ideas about supposed "basic knowledge" that is needed since guys can use their own judgement figure out what they need or don't need as long as they have discretionary funds, they can get started buying bitcoin.

They can also learn whatever they need to learn as they are starting to buy bitcoin on a regular basis, perhaps weekly?
JayJuanGee, I know discretionary income is what is needed most in order to start investing in bitcoin, and people can learn whatever they need to learn as they are starting to buy bitcoin. However, there could be a scenario where a newbie who know nothing about bitcoin can start investing in bitcoin and the market crashes immediately he or she purchases his or her first bitcoin, and if this happens, don't you think that the newbie would be force to sell his or her bitcoin at of fear because he or she doesn't know that bitcoin is volatile? So I believe at some point it's necessary for newbies to know the basic knowledge of bitcoin before they start investing in bitcoin.

Can basic knowledge about Bitcoin save a person from fear? The only way to save yourself from selling your holdings out of fear is to build faith in Bitcoin. When you have faith in Bitcoin, you will be able to easily deal with the big falls in Bitcoin. It is very natural for a person to be afraid in the beginning, but it is not right to be so afraid in the beginning that he has to sell his holdings. After starting investing, he can gradually gain knowledge and face small falls in the market, then he will gradually be able to deal with the big falls and build faith in Bitcoin.

It's not like anyone is denying the role of basic knowledge in bitcoin investment, I think that @JJG is more interested in the unnecessary delays that this basic knowledge can cause a person who's practically waiting to gain such knowledge before he can start his bitcoin accumulation. Some questions you should ask yourself is what actually defines "a basic knowledge" about bitcoin? Does this involve you as a beginner wanting to study volatility?

Most times folks who claim to be waiting to learn basic knowledge about bitcoin before investing only confuse themselves because they will be busy studying volatility that would keep them delaying unendingly.

As a beginner who's ready to invest in bitcoin, the moment you have your Discretionary income then you are good to go because there's no tech savvy that hasn't heard about bitcoin and also aware that it is a digital currency, all he needs to do is how to figure out his Discretionary income for the sake of long-term success. Once he is able to figure out his Discretionary income then there's no need to wait further. He can learn every other thing along the way and as long as he is truly investing with his Discretionary income, he has a high chances of success.

You sound like you are sure how the market would progress for a newbie. Like how sure are you that as a beginner joins bitcoin he will first encounter small fall and when he has gained experience he will then experience the big fall?

Bitcoin price is not predictable and big fall can happen at anytime. This is why you have to be investing with only your Discretionary income so that you will not worry about whether it's small fall or big fall that's occurring. Fear is a factor that influence some premature sales or selling when you think that price is going down, but the bigger reason that causes people to sell off their bitcoin prematurely or when the market is going down is, "investing outside your Discretionary income". If you can avoid the urge to invest more than you can afford to HODL then, you have a very good chance of making profit in the long-term.

Having faith in Bitcoin is good, but I bet you that you will still sell in panic if you invest what you cannot afford to lose. Most of us that invested in Bitcoin are still downplaying the effect of investing from our discretionary income, we don't know that the reason sir jayjuangee always advice that all investment in Bitcoin should be made from our discretionary income is that we are not going to fear or panic when our investment is not going as planned because we are investing what we can afford to lose, but once you invest what you cannot afford to lose, every dip will be a nightmare to the said person because he   or she invested what they cannot afford to lose.

Accept whatever challenges you experience on the way for it removes fear and makes you ;

Start using small money first as you are just getting a good grasp of this market. Even doing financial transactions is a crucial one because one wrong move and you will lose your funds. This is why you need to be familiarize with the basics first and not rush investing your savings to something you are not yet very familiar of.

I believe the following steps can be considered when you are new into this market -
> orient yourself how to transact not only with btc but with other alts (remember there are several networks that you can use, and you will lose that money by just one wrong address)
> check the reputable trading platforms and stick to it. don't go to exchanges with high price but very low liquidity (your funds will be trapped here)
> acquaint yourself with the trading, learn how liquidity matters and the foundation of the coin as to how the market movement is happening to this alt

First, you need to get a good understanding of the market and then start buying Bitcoin. This can be a tough decision. Moreover, how does a new investor know if he has enough knowledge?

It is not mandatory to know everything about Bitcoin to start investing in Bitcoin. A new investor can start without knowing everything if he has discretionary income. If we make it mandatory for a new investor to learn everything about Bitcoin before starting, he will almost certainly hesitate, and may even get into a frustrating situation and not start at all. Since there is an opportunity to start investing in Bitcoin even after starting, there is no need to make it mandatory to learn first. Rather, he may be busy with price predictions by looking at the market chart under the pretext of learning. But after starting, he gets the opportunity to learn from his own experience and also knows how much patience he can have in the face of price drops.

Acquiring adequate knowledge about Bitcoin can be found online and I have been seeing paid PDF and ebooks that can help those that want to learn about Bitcoin to get the knowledge they are looking for paying tiny amount.
The challenges most investors are having about investing in Bitcoin is because they are not ready to seek for information online on how they can become a successful investor in the market. The crypto market is not funny at all and any mistake can lead to severe loses that may be difficult to recover.

I agree with you that having knowledge on how to go about your bitcoin investment is very important and a bit helpful in navigating your way while investing, but when it comes to eliminating fear when investing in Bitcoin, you need to invest from your discretionary income, which is a fund you can afford to lose, that way you will not fear or panic if their is a dip in the market or your investment is not going as expected, because you know that even though the worst happens, you will still be fine emotionally and financially.
Sure, investing in any asset must be with the money that we can afford to lose, it is including in Bitcoin. Investing with safe money will ensure us to have calm mind because it won't impact anything although we end up with losses. We should easily deal with any condition of crypto market because we can think with calm mind. It will be so much different if we use unsafe money, we may panic because we can't lose the money.

But we should take note that fear and panicking can never be taken away once you invest what you cannot afford to lose regardless of wether you are a newbie or a veteran investor, so it's very important that we invest only what we can afford to lose, if we don't want to be emotionally attached to our investment.
As we said above, investing with unsafe money will burden our mind. Whether veterans or beginners, they must be panic if the market condition become worse than they expected. However, I'm sure the veterans won't try to invest in that way. Since they have sufficient knowledge, they must know how to invest in a proper way.
