Let's look at the positive side. At least the Strait of Hormuz has been fully reopened and the supply chain will be partially restored, which will somewhat ease pressure on oil prices in the coming day.

Its all going to pan out in the next 2 weeks providing we actually get through that time. Negotiations are
kicking off on Friday and we will find out then if Iran's 10 point plan will be agreed on.

4.] The lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions and resolutions against Iran.

6.] End of all resolutions against Iran the United Nations Security Council.
7.] The withdrawal of US combat forces from all bases in the region.
8.] Full compensation for damages suffered by Iran during the war — to be secured through payments to Iran by ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
9.] The release of all Iranian assets and properties frozen abroad.
10.] The ratification of all these matters in a binding UNSC resolution.

Well, this will at least clear the backlog of ships that hasn't passed on the Strait of Hormuz for weeks. 2 weeks is enough for those ships to pass without any damage or being threatened whatsoever.

Just a few hours after the announcement of a ceasefire, the price of the global market went up. Gold went up, Bitcoin went up, Stocks went up, but the Oil dropped massively. If I remember correctly, that's around -36% in just a span of an hour, and that's the biggest single hour drop for oil in history. I guess we can say that this ceasefire is kind of historic because of what happened with oil, eh? Kidding aside, this 2-week ceasefire will at least ease the lowering supply of oil towards other countries, and because of this, I'm optimistic enough that this war might end sooner than we expected. Maybe after this 2-week ceasefire, Trump decides to end the war already and claim his "delusional" victory. This is good enough to prevent destruction in some countries and both of them because if they do some destruction every day, they will soon destroy their country and at the same time those who are not at fault will not be able to manage their economy. I also have the same view that Donald Trump would end the war in Iran's terms. Even Iranians are skeptical of this sudden change of mind. Some of them see it as a tactic for the US and Iran to buy time to re-strategize and regroup.

It could also be that the US president is under pressure from his political base and Middle East allies. Trump has lost the support of some of his loyal supporters, and the majority of US citizens are also against the war. The economy of the US allies in the Middle East is going down every day. Trump might also be aware that an escalation might lead to a global recession, which would attract more backlash from Americans.

This was always going to be the case. In fact there's evidence that Pakistan's declaration of brokering this deal was actually supplied by the US. Trump kept escalating but Iran was clearly not interested in backing down, so now they can both save face by claiming a cease fire. However Israel is going to keep instigating because they're a little chihuahua that gets to bully their opponent while the Pitbull is in town, they never wanted the US to back off. It's a temporary restbite and hopefully things can head back to normal, but Iran had a lot of damage done to it - civilian structures - which they might rightly ask for reparations on. Otherwise we could see the gulf of Hormuz becoming a situation again soon enough. Plus Trump never got any concessions so we might be at the same precipice in two weeks time.

looking at it economically, it might not be much but you are right that it will at least offer some relief to the people directly and most affected by the bombings. but still, we have yet to see if both sides actually stick with the ceasefire.

A lot of ships can pass in these 2 weeks, but from the sailor's point of view, they must have faced a lot of trouble all this time, and still, they must be scared to move their ship because they know there is no guarantee, and their ship can be the next target. These 2 weeks are not only enough for these ships, but for citizens of Iran too, because there have been casualities in that country since the start, while Israel has bunkers, but both countries have strictly banned sharing any kind of information on this, no information can be seen, only the attacks on other countries done by unconfirmed attackers because Iran is not taking their responsibility too.

The cease fire break doesn't mean everything is under rest, there will be deliberation and talks to make peace go round as possible so the three country peace accord will send message to other countries.
On average, more than 50 ships pass through the strait of Hormuz, I don't think quarter of this number has pass through since this war started, not only barrels of ships pass through, even cargo pass through, this cease fire will have impact on countries that are expecting supply.

I don't blame people for having doubts about this development, I don't think this is time for rebuild, even the Iranians didn't accept this ceased fire. The last time United state was in the middle of negotiations, they went in the night and flew missile over their roof top killings hundreds in the name of bad regime. It is obvious now that Donald Trump is just a pawn and that  Netanyahu prime minister of Israel is the one calling the shots. They just had a Fvckn agreement and Netanyahu just said no that bombing Lebanon. We can not have peace this way, I don't even know what they have on Donald Trump for him to be a yes sir president. I just watched a funny of most of the iranians burning the American flag and saying that they have won the war, are they that ignorant or they have forgotten the meaning of a cease fre. Few days ago Trump threatened to wipe out the entire country in one night but he didn't do it he ordered a cease fire instead, this is actually an opportunity for Iran to come to terms with their agreement that has already been announced by Trump.
