It is natural that Donald Trump, a successful businessman and the president of the most powerful country in the world, will be more concerned about making profits in all areas. Most of the steps he has taken in the financial sector are to pave the way for capitalists. He is a great president for the world's big businessmen and investors. Despite many reports, Trump will not agree to any policy outside of US interests. He is showing strength through sanctions and pressuring Iran for a peace deal and at the last minute war may break out again.

If war does not break out again, US strategic influence will be greatly damaged, especially in Asian countries. If after accepting to ceasefire Iranians are still not happy then Trump should make statement to convince us that he didn't force them to accept the peace talk so that the world will think he's a good president. If this is the case, the tension will not go down any time soon. The gas prices have gone down temporarily. But it still is pretty bad here. So hopefully the war between the two countries finally gets settled.

Not only that, according to recent news, Iran even retaliated against the United States for the seizure of their oil tanker, the Touska. Iran launched a series of drones targeting several US warships in the Gulf of Oman. At the same time, Trump strongly threatened that if no peace agreement was signed when the ceasefire expired. The United States will resume bombing, and the target will be power plants and every bridge in Iran

We do not know what will happen in the next two day, but based on the information released, the situation is clearly very unstable.

Cease fire can't stop this war, they should come to an agreement on what to do and what not to do, at first when I heard this cease fire for a number of days I never saw it as the solution to the problem is like them taking a break from shooting at each other and regrouping, after that they resume...political statements sometimes are no suppose to be taken the way they say it, only thing is that while listening to them speak you use wisdom/knowledge to follow them because these guys are very tricky, we can't tell what's going on behind closed doors but my concern is for them to stop whatever they are doing for things to come back to normal.

Of course, what we want is a lasting peace agreement, not just a temporary ceasefire. But you need to know that no peace agreement will ever be established without a ceasefire to allow both sides to sit down at the negotiating table.

I agree with you but the way things are going it doesn't seem like something productive will happen, is like they are doing all these I mean the war base on pride, it has gotten into the issue at hands. I'm not from Iran or rather from America but all I want is that this world should come to an end because honestly this is effective all over the world. From the start, I've been skeptical of the US during peace negotiations as they've repeatedly ignored their agreements and continued to violate them. The US and Israel are both countries that can't keep their promises. I personally believe the peace talks are merely an excuse for the US to play the game. The invitation to negotiate is merely a ruse. They're clearly restocking their ammunition preparing for a more brutal war scenario.

Just look at the fragile ceasefire now, only leaving a greater crisis in the future. Today we witnessed how untrustworthy the US is blocking Iranian ports and seizing Iranian cargo ships. There was a ceasefire between Iran and the US but still we saw that no oil tanker could pass through the Strait of Hormuz freely. You notice that there was a ceasefire discussion in Pakistan, but even then we noticed that Iran has imposed a naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz and it is true that later the US attacked an Iranian ship passing through this narrow waterway and to my knowledge the peace treaty negotiations between them were ignored, leaving many countries still short of sufficient oil.

Well, Iran should've known that trying to "bypass" the US blockade would come with its consequences. The US is also to blame for putting a blockade during the ceasefire. Both sides are making a long-term, permanent peace effort largely impossible.

Updated: Following a series of threats, Trump has unilaterally extended the ceasefire indefinitely.

It seems the United States no longer wants to prolong this war. This is not too difficult to understand, as they are spending too much on war without any guarantee of achieving the desired outcome. However, they decided to maintain the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz until peace is achieved with Iran.

The continued closure of the strait will continue to put pressure on oil prices and the global economy. But I do not think oil prices will reach $200, I think they've already peaked.

As long as the war doesn't escalate, other problems can be resolved.

Iran has blocked Strait of Hormuz once again after US refuses to lifts its blockade on Iranian ports. The message is clear from Iran that they want to negotiate but on equality not as a loser. If Donald Trump is serious in ending the war then he must also step back and lift blockade of Iran seaports. This war is not affecting Iran and US only but the whole world. Due to disruption of oil and gas supply, the price of oil has gone up in entire world and things will get worse if this war continuous. This is demand of whole world that this war must end asap.     

Negotiation for the ceasefire is just feel like a drama than genuine effort. it was just wastage of time. Everyone were hoping that may be these two weeks ceasefire convert into the long term peace but it doesn't not feel like that. Iran demands are looked valid for peace but U.S , don't know why everytime not care or  violate the agreements.
Against Strait of Hormuz closed again, it's mean again pressure on the economy that's not a good news for all. Both should ended the conflict with dignity. This break expected the clue of imposing war from U.S side with more power. And today situation clear that exspectations was right.
