Gambling is a personal choice and it depends on whom is gambling at the moment; as far as I know everyone Gambling is gambling for profits making but the difference between both is that, the Rich can easily let go the amount they spent while gambling be it whatever amount they wouldn't feel it that much, but when you talks about the poor, they easily get it to their nerves whenever they are gambling and they lose it.
In conclusion; both people gambles for profits, but the rich easily let go, while the poor easily gets addicted. Don't get me wrong that the Rich can't get addicted but they can also control themselves if they don't have winning they already had alternative of source of funds than the poor whom would stick to make sure they recovered something from their bet.

This seems the obvious answer, but I have some doubts about its validity. The rich can stake more money because he can afford it, but in the end I think that the motivation is the same between the rich and the poor, and the fact that the rich has more sources of funds can simply mean that he has more money to gamble. I tell you this because I have a acquaintance who has inherited a business and a big income because of that, but still has trouble with debts because he even bet his car to poker and lost, and the bank won't lend him more money until he returns what has already been left to him. So the problems between the rich and the poor are the same, I think, the only thing that changes is the magnitude in each case.

The answer is obvious- rich people have access to more resources. To begin with, they rarely do it for the money because they’re already rich regardless if they gamble or not. Mostly, these rich people play for fun in order to experience and feel the adrenaline within their hands that they can only get from gambling.

In contrast to these rich people, your typical average-earning person would most likely gamble for profit. The reason again is simple- they would need the money, in general. You may argue that there will be a few who gamble for fun but this is somehow rare in this in that spectrum.

So what if I say both individuals might be right in a certain manner? But it just boils down to what angle through which you are looking at the topic of discussion from. Because to be frankly speaking, it is no doubt that the majority of the people who gambles for fun are always rich people, and for that singular reason, if an individual happens to say "Rish people gambles for fun", that doesn't make him totally wrong, as he might be right, but it just depends on what angle you are looking at the story from. The person who commented that gambling for fun has nothing to do with status is correct because the reason to which we gamble is as a result of our idea and perspective about gambling. Generally gambling for fun is a personal decision for every gamblers because even the rich rich too chases profits and loses which we know is no more fun when they have become emotional over their games.

Gambling isn't about the rich and the poor, it's about who can risk and who can manage their risk. A gambler can be wealthy and be careless and the same thing applicable to people that are poor, they can be poor and still make wrong decisions about their gambling all resulting to them losing all the money, that's the problem with people that gamble with greed. It's even more possible to see a wealthy gambler addicted to gambling just like you can see poor person.

There are many wealthy people that will gamble and the money they put into gambling will even be smaller than what a poor person will risk into gambling. It's about the mindset we do and not about our financial status in real life. Rich people have enough money and they are financially well off so they are able to have fun by using money in gambling. And they have the ability to lose some money. But if you talk about poor people who are struggling to manage their daily lives then how can they spend money on gambling just for entertainment? 2. How many poor people do you think gamble just for fun?

The answer seems quite obvious to me.
Rich people generally do not need to gamble to win money, so it is clearly obvious to me that they gamble just for fun, would not you agree?
