Lastly, games with Bitcoin in a theme can be just try to abuse Bitcoin in their game themes for making their games more attractive while quality is unknown. Like altcoin projects which try to be Bitcoin forks in order to more easily convince people that their projects are quality and steal money from Bitcoin fork investors.

Good job in listing these games, I didn't knew most of them but I think and I don't know about others that you explaining the game in just 1 to 2 sentences would've been better than just giving us links and us individually finding out, this takes more time and is more complicated for us to choose a favorite game for us. That way would've been better and you could've had a better chance in accomplishing your goal

I tend to stay away from any "bitcoin-themed" games. There are far too many stories of scammers injecting malware into unsuspecting gamer's PCs that turn their gaming rig into a cloud miner for the scammer.

Both AAA and indie game production studios have dipped their fingers into the whole crypto-gaming (not to be confused witb gambling) venture back in the post-covid boom. None of it went anywhere, and most of it was trash (ie. Axie Infinity). The concept of a bitcoin-theme game makes no sense to me outside of paying for microtransactions with bitcoin itself. Wake me up when Genshin Impact or Leauge of Legends offers cryptocurrency payment for stuff in their cash-shops.

You didn't even list this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5538065.0 It's called "Proof of Work". IMO one of the best renditions of a bitcoin-themed game that's actually fun, teaches you something, and doesn't convert your GPU into hashpower for some degenerate loser out there.

This industry still lack a decent, well built and managed game. There were attempts, but none of them worked in a sustainable way on long run. I guess something modern on the concept of Second Life could work nicely for Bitcoin to take place as transaction mean.

Or an immersive MMORPG game which doesn't rely on pay to win mechanisms, while keeping the environment free from bots and abusers. That would be another solid alternative.

But the games shared here don't even worth to be paid to be played... Those are arcade games which you can find for free in browser games websites, or in app store nowadays...

Last Pay Wins (the under construction game) was really great while it was up. I believe Alex Lewin made it. It's one of the few games I listed that actually uses sats as a way to make the game work. I think it's definitely worth mentioning in case others know about similar games.

I look at other games that integrate Bitcoin as payment and I found out that some of these play-to-earn games are:

SaruTobi = an ios game that gives satoshi as a reward
LightNite = a multiplayer online game, a shooter game that gives sats as a reward upon defeating opponents

My experience is that it is never worth it if your goal is earning sats.

but if your goal is to have fun, maybe such games are worth playing.
