For you guys, have you ever felt like this too? That quitting feels like weakness at first, but in reality it might be the hardest and smartest thing to do?
I think that's because we men are built differently and we shouldn't give up to any circumstances that we're facing. And that's what you have adopted with gambling. So, if you're thinking of quitting as a sign of weakness, that's okay and casual but it doesn't mean that you truly are. It's a thought in our conscious mind of how we've adopted in life and how we're expected to continue and never give up. It can also be a justification of someone's gambling addiction but, always think that when it's too much that it's okay to leave and quit. No one is going to do that for you but only for yourself.

Sometimes when I try to stop gambling, especially during a losing streak, I end up thinking that I’m weak for wanting to quit. Like part of me says as a man I should just handle it, recover the losses, and not run away from it.
Quiting is not a sign of weakness it's just a mindset or mentality, trust me such mindset can be misleading to an extent. This mindset keeps a man stagnated and not able to learn and Master the act of financial management. Those that often quite and reacessed are the real gamblers because they take correction when necessary and makes profit from it as fast as possible.

For you guys, have you ever felt like this too? That quitting feels like weakness at first, but in reality it might be the hardest and smartest thing to do?
I have never ever seen quiting as weakness rather a turning point to make correction and become successful if possible.

You stopping gambling during many losing streak does not mean you're weak.
It actually means you're leaving the game to be well prepared next time, and it also means you're stopping the game so you won't gamble emotionally to the extent of chasing the recovery of your losses when the game is always in the favor of the house.

But at the same time, I also know that stopping should be the smart move so the same mistakes don’t keep happening. That’s the part I don’t get. Even when your mind already knows what to do, you still end up going back. One day you feel fully decided to quit, then the next day you find yourself opening the gambling account again and starting to roll like nothing happened hehe.

For you guys, have you ever felt like this too? That quitting feels like weakness at first, but in reality it might be the hardest and smartest thing to do?
Yes, i have once felt like that, but one thing is certain, a winner never quits and quitter never wins, and there's a difference between stopping the game for some time to reset your gambling psychology and stop gambling forever.

Although we man doesn't quit easily as you said but in gambling, I don't see this as the main reason why we hardly quit. Even most female that find themselves in gambling find it difficult to quit as well. Immediately you have the mind of making profit or making good money from gambling then it become hard to quit. This is because you keep hoping for your success to come soon even when you are losing.

Stopping makes you a shrewd person, not a weak one. If you're on a losing streak, the best decision is not to stay just to try and recover those losses, because that's what your "addicted" side tries to convince you to do. By "addicted" side, understand that voice that says, "Now's the time; your lucky streak has arrived, and you're going to give up?" Stopping is better than insisting and losing even more.

Even most female that find themselves in gambling find it difficult to quit as well. Immediately you have the mind of making profit or making good money from gambling then it become hard to quit. This is because you keep hoping for your success to come soon even when you are losing.
And if it's not about the thought of making profit, it's about the recovery of the losses that we've got. So those who like to quit and yet aside from the weakness they feel when they are suppose to do it, they're also having that regret that they can't accept most of the losses that they've been through. The false hope that all gamblers who can't quit is still there. We can define of what kind of quitting we're trying to make, so from the point of just temporary doing it and ending it a day to wholly quitting it without coming back. Now, each of us can say if that's really a weakness or just a plain thought that we'll carry always.

It is even wiser to take a break from gambling upon you noticing your back-to-back losing streak, as wisdom requires you to do so, and not you being too emotional about it, because you just might take the wrong step, which would trigger what you never expected, and sometimes you think it to be a weak decision on taking a break but that is not the case but that would help you restrategize and refresh your strength and capablities to start again.  So, in all, taking a break is not really a sign of weakness, but rather you putting your strength under control and not allowing your emotions to overwhelm you.

It is not a sign of weakness to quit or take a break in gambling, it is a good indication of being in control and being aware. In many cases. it seems like weakness because of the impact of addiction, which makes you continue and pursue losses. The truth is that being aware of a bad streak and retreating is a display of control and being mature. It will enable you to prevent making rash choices and save your resources. A break will allow you to re focus your mind. re evaluate your approach and come back with a fresh mind. Making a decision to quit. even temporarily is a source of strength. responsibility and long term thinking.

For you guys, have you ever felt like this too? That quitting feels like weakness at first, but in reality it might be the hardest and smartest thing to do?
That condition usually starts from the adrenaline rush you get when you’re facing losses, combined with a mindset like, “as a man, I have to deal with it and recover what I lost.” Without realizing it, that same adrenaline can have negative effects, including leading you into addiction.

I’ve been in that situation myself. After realizing how harmful it can be, I trained my mindset to accept that whatever happens when I gamble is entirely my own decision. By doing that, I don’t let adrenaline take control of my mind or push me into chasing losses, and it helps me stay away from addiction.

I think every person has been a victim of this situation. If a person does not gamble, they may have been a victim of this situation for some other reason. The biggest reason for this is addiction. If we can control ourselves, then we will never be a victim of this kind of situation. When we become addicted, if we cannot do that thing, then I do not like anything. Until I do that thing, I will not find peace and I will be in a state of restlessness.

What we need to do to overcome these situations is to keep ourselves busy all the time. Play sports, keep ourselves away from being alone too much, if a person can keep himself busy and if he can keep himself away from those people who have attracted him to gambling or gambling. If he can keep himself away from these, then he can easily get out of this addiction.

I have thought about similar things. When I stopped gambling for quite a while due to financial problems from addiction, I had thoughts like that. Especially when hanging out with friends who are also gamblers, there would be some jokes that felt disheartening because I had stopped gambling. But all of that doesn’t matter to me anymore. I’m gambling again now, but in a different way. I think every gambler needs to think about taking a break when they are tired enough from the struggle of recovering losses.

From personal experience, why people planning to quit gambling still found themselves back to gambling again because they have won before so even when they have quit gambling, the mind is still there to gamble to win at least once and that would make them to come back again. Their coming back is not to become a real gambler but to win small amount and run.

For you guys, have you ever felt like this too? That quitting feels like weakness at first, but in reality it might be the hardest and smartest thing to do?
No, being able to quit is one of the hardest and smartest things someone who has a gambling addiction or gambling problems can do. There is nothing weak about it, and people who understand(I'm sure a lot of us here understand it) and have been in the same situation will know how hard to do it. So, for anyone out there, don't ever think that quitting gambling makes you weak.

From personal experience, why people planning to quit gambling still found themselves back to gambling again because they have won before so even when they have quit gambling, the mind is still there to gamble to win at least once and that would make them to come back again. Their coming back is not to become a real gambler but to win small amount and run.
Yes, you are absolutely right, because the urge of wanting to taste the feeling of winning just like you once did, is actually what drives people to keep on gambling after they might have plan on quitting before. Because one thing we as gamblers need to understand is the fact that inasmuch as we are surrendered with a group of gamblers that sometimes win and show us their profits, the more the urge of  wanting to give it a try to gamble again likely to increase in us. Which is why environment and the people you keep around you matters a lot when you are thinking about quitting gambling, because it is actually not an easy journey, as it requires discipline to be able to achieve that.  But in a scenario where you see yourself keep coming back to gambling after planning to quit, the best next option should be to gamble responsibly.
