This is really the disadvantage and looks like users don't have freedom to choose private option, since setting up android force us to link our email. Most of people use gmail and they didn't even bother to think about their privacy.

This is why dummy emails and those providers offer privacy focused email is somehow important. If they are thinking about using mobile wallets, much better avoid it especially if they want to deposit huge funds, but if they plan to deposit small funds I think they are fine with that. But for security better its really good to use desktops because they are less to commit mistake especially if they are aware of any possible dangers.
I mean if there is another option and choice like using an exchange with web browser mode, I would like to go with this option rather than doing it on mobile devices with an application installation. With Mobit.exchange, it's easily to access and use the exchange on web browsers including Tor Browser, so I see no issues here and it's their advantage.

It's only my favorite of avoiding installation of applications on my mobile devices as most as I can avoid.

Yeah somehow it made all things easy and also safe if they just had that browser more option, because aside that people can avoid downloading unnecessary space which take space in their phone also they can possibly avoid download those phising apps. Also this is how good Mobit because they are running smoothly in web browser and people also don't get any issue if they use TOR to.

Somehow this is goop option for those practical people who always pays attention with their privacy and security.

Hey everyone,

Quick heads up — this service isn’t the “brand new” platform they’re claiming to be. I’ve gone through the details and it’s looking like a straight relaunched version of a previous exchange that got shut down earlier.

I’ve got pretty solid evidence on this. If you want the receipts, just shoot me a PM.

How do people believe in your claim, while in first place you use 100% Ai to construct this simple post to accuse them about something?

...If you don't download anything, Android is quite safe.
I agree with you on this. If you also get a few reliable apps from the play store, you could still be safe. Android OS are safe. But reading through this thread now reveals different Android Os according to where the phone is manufactured. I'm not familiar with that.

Hey everyone,

Okay.
So, where is the problem now? Did the previously shutdown exchange scam you or anyone you know? If yes, go create scam accusation thread. I am not saying MoBit is an old exchange, but I don't have a problem if an old good exchange unjustly taken down by the government reappears with a new domain.

For starters, your service is basically the same as eXch, even the currencies offered (except Litecoin and Lightning Bitcoin), API support, the swap modes etc.

But what is more important is the blockchain data. When I tried to initiate a swap from ETH to BTC, your service gave me this deposit address: 0x28341b9fa148d61BA32993CcdcFCF3BC7F337C2d. After a bit of digging it could be linked to this address: 0xeC886f7524c189e21045978a5E64D3647cE9b324, which is well known to be an eXch address.

Moreover, the security deposit that Little Mouse currently has came indirectly from an address that consolidated extremely large amounts of BTC right around April/May 2025, exactly the time that eXch shut down.

If you had said any other service, I might have believed you, but eXch? No. I don't think so for the following reasons:

1. The person who running MoBit.Exchange is completely different from eXch in terms of writing style, expression, and everything else. They are not the same person.

2. While there are some similarities in the UI between the two services, their code writing style is entirely different.

3. eXch would never use a Telegram bot in any of its infrastructure.

Regarding your account:

Quote
A shady guy (probably pretending to be a newbie) contacted me off-the-forum without introducing himself. He told me eXch owes him 2 BTC, but refused to explain why. After I told him the project had been closed for over a year, he started speculating that 1miau might be behind eXch's management (I suspect he's a troll seeking attention amidst the recent drama).

The above quote was before you post this reply.  Smiley

Yes, applications gotten from Google play store are considered to be safe, but you still have to be skeptical. I have read somewhere in the forum that some malicious developers will upload good apps verified by Google and later on they'll pull it for updates and then insert malicious codes and then push it back. By then, google will not re-verify it. Making those that downloads the later version to be at risk.

I haven't experienced this but I read about it somewhere here in the forum. So, this now makes me unwilling to update my apps.

Hmm, that can be possible. And to overcome this issue, there is only one solution that I think Google should keep verifying each app every month or whenever developers insert new updated code in the app for a better user experience. What we can do is that we can report this to Google so that they must verify every app code when there is a new update available for any app on the Play Store. But until we find the solid reason for that, I am kinda sure Google will not act on our request.

The thing is that it is sometimes impossible to find the real problem, as we have many apps installed at the same time on our phone, and we can't know where the virus is coming from. These days I am facing this issue, my mobile phone is getting attacked with Trojan virus, but I don't know where it is coming from or what the source of this attack. So, until we can't find the source, we can't report it, right? What do you think?

I don't use iOS/iPhone because it's crap. There are sanctions in Russia, and bank apps are blocked on iOS/iPhone. On Android, I can install any APK from the bank's official website or download it from the Russian Rustor store. If you don't download anything, Android is quite safe.

Oh, I can understand this. But don't you think APK files are unsafe, as they are open-source software and can have loopholes that can lead your devices to the worst edge of being compromised, or any virus can be injected through these loopholes that, as a result, can steal your phone data or crypto assets. What do you think about it? CMIIW!

...
We should not blindly trust what has been added there and we need to check those apps if it came from legitimate sources.

Since there are incidents happen on which phising apps has been successfully added on google play store https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2025/06/10/delete-every-app-on-your-smartphone-thats-on-this-list

So better do all things that can make you safe before taking actions like installing or when you want to your apps.

So, what do you think is the safest way to verify Google Play Store apps, if there is any? I really understand the nuance of this matter, as we can't solely rely on reviews and installations based on their feedback on the Play Store, as the majority of the time, those Reviews are fake or paid. So, if there is any valid way to verify any app before installing it on our device, whether it is safe or not, how can we check it? Do you know any way?

This is the problem here since he accuse the new platform to have relation with other exchange. Its hard to say yes if he don't have any proof and what he have is just pure assumptions.

Its kinda unfair for new platform to be accused like that, so maybe its good for him to try to find more solid evidence if he could able to find something that link this exchange on eXch.

But it seems that he really have bad reputation and if this is true, better for him to find other beneficial things to do. Because he won't get anything for trolling the platform, since people knows how to verify those legit and hoax accusations.

Uninstall suspicious apps and use only apps gotten from your play store. It could be an app with some malicious codes flagged as Trojan-virus

On the contrary, it is easy to track platforms if they are new, as errors are high in the first few days, and a single error will reveal whether the person managing the account is part of that project or not.

for example ----> CoinTor and RedMix are the same people - opinion please

Yeah somehow it made all things easy and also safe if they just had that browser more option, because aside that people can avoid downloading unnecessary space which take space in their phone also they can possibly avoid download those phising apps. Also this is how good Mobit because they are running smoothly in web browser and people also don't get any issue if they use TOR to.

Somehow this is goop option for those practical people who always pays attention with their privacy and security.
It's like all other exchanges with browser version for their user starting experience. Then there will be available mobile applications for people who want to trade on mobile devices but if having access to computers with bigger screens, it's more comfortable and surely many people will choose a computer than a phone for their trades if at the same time they can access both.

On mobile, smaller screen, harder to read and likely more possibility of bad touches and result in inaccurate trading actions. It's possibly risky for trading experience, while on computers, there is less risk.

In addition, in security, I believe most people care more about security of their computers than their phones. With cryptocurrency wallets and funds, a device security is very important for protection of their wallets and funds.

...If you don't download anything, Android is quite safe.
I agree with you on this. If you also get a few reliable apps from the play store, you could still be safe. Android OS are safe. But reading through this thread now reveals different Android Os according to where the phone is manufactured. I'm not familiar with that.

The good thing about Android devices is that they allow you to bypass any restrictions. Manufacturers will install software in accordance with the law of the country where these devices are supplied. But after the purchase, you can install any firmware into your phone, and for security it is better to use phones with modern processors.
