Most of us make use of centralized exchange because we have various opportunities that we may take advantage of from them, you can exchange for P2P and also have several coins you may needed to exchange or use them more smoothly for trading experience, but when it comes to the other side of it, they may not be suitable for us because centralized exchange are custodial storage and we don't have access to our coins on them, they also have our various informations that could lead to tracking us down which we have to pass through kyc and handover all this to them.

Well centralized exchanges are still important and necessary for the network as most people would prefer centralization since it's something that they are already used to, but for those who would prefer to be completely anonymous then they can make use of the DEX and probably decentralized P2P but with a trusted party probably with good ratings. Sometimes I feel like going completely decentralized but the risk of having a trusted P2P in my locality that won't fail would be the only factor that'll make me to hold back because, some P2P agents might have involved themselves in some sort of exposure with scam or hacked crypto that's on the radar of the FBI or other crime commission.
