Its not that school dont teach us how to become rich. Its that they simply cannot.
Did you know that with the same recipe and the same ingredients, two different chefs can create two dishes with completely different flavors? Similarly, even if Elon Musk shared his formula for success, I dont think many people could achieve the same result.

Success works the same way. It doesnt depend solely on knowledge or a formula. It also depends on ability, mindset, and countless other factor. Meanwhile, our IQs, personalities, and cognitive abilities are not all the same.

Although I don't think it would be right to call schools a fraud, it is true that the current education system is not keeping up with the times in many ways. Even today most of our schools in Pakistan give more importance to rote learning and test scores but very little is taught about real life skills. Still the importance of schools cannot be denied, Its role in developing basic education and social skills is still important. So in my opinion the problem is not schools but their outdated structure. The education system needs to be made more realistic in line with the times.

Academia is one field where it is, by law, not possible to 'succeed' without 'properly issued' credentials.  As they say, 'if you cannot do, teach.'

School is good for getting one's foot in the door.  I one is (capable and) can somehow jam his/her foot in the door, one can save a ton of time and money by avoiding school.

Well in my opinion school is not a scam, the thing that happens is that Many believe that after graduating from school that success in life is achieved or they believe that going to school guarantee financial success since they say "education lead to success" this phrase linger in there mind and makes them see education as an escape rout, not knowing that education is doorway to unlock your destiny and not necessarily the destiny itself. Like now I have been able to achieve this height in life because I was educated. Let's take the forum as a case study, people are benefiting from signature campaign here because they can read and write, while many who are not educated can not be here talkmore of earning from here. Education is a necessity but not a must to succeed. And everyone must not be educated to succeed, some will still succeed without education though, but it is still necessary to be educated because it takes you far.

Well, just so you know, the whole idea of that actually goes a bit beyond schooling itself, and I think it also goes a bit beyond the process of getting educated. Phrases like that is likely coming from a frustrating point of view. When I say frustrating, it can be that the society doesn't give regards to educated individuals, or a large number of those who are educated, don't get a chance in the society. And this is quite common in a system where the political structure is completely corrupt with high level of economic damage. Imo, schooling is not a scam. If there were better opportunities for the majority of those that spent a few years for a degree, then I don't think a society would be calling it a scam, at least from my own country's pov.

Education has really evolved over the years, there are several opportunities and skills today that were never even thought about before, and it’s only logical for the educational systems to also evolve along with time and technological advancement and innovations. Some schools have actually joined the moving train, which a few others still believe in the good ol’ system, but the truth remains that time waits for nobody, and people should learn to accept and embrace changes and development, not run away from it.

These notion “school is a scam” is conceived from the idea of people who believe that once an individual goes to school and graduated then such people are automatically going to have money or better still secure a job and get made for life. So when this idea isn’t achieved they labeled school as a scam. But the truth is going to school is not a guarantee that one must become rich because obviously there are so many individuals who are extremely rich today not by going to school. If you look at the entertainment or sports industry you’ll find at least 50% of musicians or footballers who doesn’t attend college but they are extremely rich today. That's right, school is very important and useful in the lives of everyone, as they will acquire different things that will help them in life such as knowledge, understanding and how to communicate rightly just like you said because without one building up this foundation early, they won't be able to make informed decisions as they ought to do. I agree, social media plays a huge part in destorying millions of kids and turning them into some kind of celebrity which might work in some cases but most of them will end up nothing and also losing their school grades. About the AI, it can be used effectively but if they are just to plagiarize their assignments then it is up to them.

School is supposed to be a place to trigger their hidden talent but now it all turning into a place to kill their time.
