It's interesting to see a non-licensed casino pop up. Are you planning to keep betKarma unlicensed going forward?
You don't request KYC verification by default, but it can be requested if you are suspicious of someone. What will you do with the collected private information? You don't have a regulator behind your backs requesting it.

I noticed an unusual bug on your casino. I have a two-monitor setup with extended desktop. When I open your casino on my laptop's screen, I can scroll up and down. There is a scroll bar. I can't do it if I load the site inside a browser on my second monitor. I can't see the bottom and there is no scroll bar. I don't remember ever seeing this before.

I didn't cut this screenshot off or something. This is everything I see on my end.



Additionally, your BTC to $ rate at the bottom is very inaccurate. Perhaps it would be a good idea to update it more often.

We have updated the FAQ and the Terms to make this point clearer. Under the current policy, betKarma is KYC-never: we do not request identity documents, do not perform KYC verification, and do not use a “no KYC by default, but maybe later if suspicious” model.

We also clarified that access restrictions under the Terms do not introduce KYC document requests to restore access or process legitimate settled balances.
concerning UI:
It was likely a responsive layout bug that appeared differently depending on the screen size or zoom level. In some cases, the page would scroll, while in others, it would get "cut off" without a scrollbar.
We’ve fixed this by updating the interface behavior in game rooms to ensure the scrollbar works consistently across all monitors and resolutions.

I love seeing new casinos popping up every day in the forum, it gives me joy. Betkarma, you are in the right place to promote your brand because this is the biggest cryptocurrency community so far, in the world. I haven't visited your site yet, but I will check it out later. From my observation here, it shows that you don't have a sportbook. Do you guys have plans on that?

betKarma is intentionally built in a smaller format, so a full sportsbook is not really the direction we are aiming for right now. We would rather stay focused on doing the core product properly than stretch into sections that do not fit the project well.

As for Bitcointalk users, yes, we do plan to reward player activity over time. And regarding promotion here, we prefer to take it step by step — first let people get to know the project a bit better, then expand gradually from there.

Decent ANN presentation op. The site design is alright, but the UI needs to be optimized better on all platforms. I really like the fact that you explained everything honestly without blatantly advertising instant withdrawals etc in the ANN.

However, no license is definitely concerning and the fact that RTP is 95% is just bad when there are way bigger sites out there that offer 98% to 99% RTP. Keep improving team.

What we can do is stay honest about the format, keep improving the product, and focus on transparent mechanics, provably fair verification, and straightforward rules instead of dressing everything up with inflated claims.

As for RTP, we prefer to state it plainly rather than present a prettier number than the games actually have. Different players will value different things, and we understand that for some, higher RTP elsewhere will simply be the better fit.

Karma Mode is our practice/demo mode. Karma Balance is a separate demo balance (Karma Coins) used only for learning games and testing flows — it has no cash value and is not withdrawable.
Real-money play is handled separately in SATS mode.

We also shipped several UX updates to make this clearer for users:

in game rooms, we now show a clear demo-mode notice when you’re playing with Karma Coins;
we added in-room helper guidance with a ? help entry and first-visit animated pointer to draw attention to game rules;
we improved room notifications and contextual hints so users better understand whether they are in demo flow or real flow;
onboarding and room messaging were refined to reduce confusion and make mode switching more transparent.
So in short: Karma = safe demo practice, SATS = real balance.

At the same time, we do not act as an AML risk assessor for users or their funds. This is the part I like from your site. But gamblers should be honest about their gambling and deposits. Besides, you guys should operate honestly; shouldn't flag accounts randomly without proper evidence of abusing your system. Fewer allegations mean gamblers will be interested in your platform.

This isn't a common casino feature, and they won't achieve their goal of getting you to play for real money this way right away . Typically, demo mode is only automatically switched to after the player loses their entire bankroll.

I don't know if Betkarma also offers a demo mode without a Karma balance; I don't see a reclaim button.

No. Multiple accounts created to abuse bonuses are not allowed. We prefer to state this clearly rather than pretend to offer “free money” with no restrictions. It is a rules violation and may lead to platform action, but we do not present “multi-account” as a hidden pretext for surprise identity checks or for blocking legitimate settled balances outside the published rules.

Since this a no KYC casino, how you intend to verify the multi accounting or any other form of abuse? In this case, you should clarify how the system can detect multi-accounting? You know users might be using the same network or even the same device in some particular cases. Usually, casinos use KYC verification procedure to check with the abuse.
Also it is worth mentioning your status with the authorities. Without an activity license and without enforcing KYC, the casino is exposed to suspicion accusations from authorities including but not limited to money laundering.

I just read their provably fair page and couldn’t understand how the provably fair system BetKarma uses works exactly.
When I copied the receipt and tried to verify the bet result using the github tool they provided, I saw that the system uses a server seed, client seed and a nonce to generate the results (just like any standard pf system), but on the casino there is no option for the user to manually set the client seed or change it!

About the kyc, I just hope that you'll stand in it and as you're not licensed, you're free to keep this rule to your users that you'll never ask for it.

Not exactly — withdrawals are not handled as a blanket manual-only process. The payout flow is automated, while some requests may go through additional review depending on current internal liquidity and risk policy. Those thresholds are operational and may change over time, so we do not present them as a fixed public number.

So the more accurate description is that withdrawals move through a visible payout flow, and only some requests may require extra review under current internal policy. But this should not be understood as us looking for excuses to freeze funds or make withdrawals difficult. It simply means that, as part of our internal safety process, some payouts may require the operator to manually confirm the release.

In practice, most withdrawals are processed instantly, starting from 11,500 sats. A player can sign in, place a single bet, and request a withdrawal right away. That is exactly the idea and philosophy behind what we are building: maximum simplicity, with as little institutional suffocation, bureaucracy, and pointless formality as possible.

The swap block is there because betKarma is sats-based, and we wanted users to be able to fund their balance from other assets more easily. But we agree that the first impression should lean more clearly toward the games, with swap presented as a utility.

I see now that the site has some changes, especially with the swap function now tucked away. It's great to see you guys taking our feedback and implementing it quite fast.
It's also great that the "Karma" mode allows us to test the platform without spending a dime; I quite fancy the Karma Ladder game on your platform, it's like a guessing game. 
BTW, the Offers button on top leads to the main page, I thought that would lead to the promotions page? Maybe it's best to rename that to Games page instead.

Adding sports betting would probably complicate their no-KYC policy. Sports providers are known to limit players and even request that their partner casinos carry out verification. For that reason it's best to not have it if you want to remain KYC-free.
