What are the best ways to educate children about Bitcoin?

Why do you want to tell a child about Bitcoin, why do you want to invest his childhood in investing? Where he will learn his identity, arithmetic, why do you want to tell him about Bitcoin in his childhood. Well, I think in Nigeria today, the best thing you can do for your child is send him or her to school and allow them to study, learn and pass their exams and don't try to bug their mind with teaching them about bitcoin.
I may want to ask what exactly are you or will you be teaching them about bitcoin for in the first place? Is it that they should start to invest in bitcoin or begin to trade at such tender age?

There is time for everything and I believe that when it's time for them to learn bitcoin, you won't even have to bring up the topic and you will be amazed at how much they already know.
Teaching children about bitcoin as a new form of money  will only lead to distraction, that is, you distract them from their studies and this can cause the child to start getting low grades in performance cus now, they are with divided attention, their curiosity to learn more about bitcoin won't allow them focus well enough to read and understand what they are reading so as to do well in class.

Personally I think there’s nothing wrong in bringing our children closer and  teaching them about bitcoin investment at an early stage and honestly I don’t see that as a distraction because it’s equally part of learning anyway. There’s no knowledge that is a waste especially as it involves something that they will benefit from in the future. Sometimes I wish I had known about bitcoin investment earlier and have started investing in those early days, if I knew what I know about bitcoin investment earlier by now I would have known how far my life will be. It’s all about mindset, I don’t see anything stopping a good student not to focus with his studies, not even Bitcoin investment is capable of distracting a bright and serious minded student from doing well in his studies.

Based on your question, I came up with an idea, since we already have knowledge about Bitcoin due to the Bitcoin contents we have read, Bitcoin education videos we have watched and also those that have read the Bitcoin white paper, it will be better to create a pamphlet that contains just 10 to 20 pages and straight to point basics information about Bitcoin with images too. Give the pamphlet to the children you want to teach Bitcoin and let them be reading it. Also use the pamphlet to teach them.

Teaching children about Bitcoin is not bad, it just depend on how it is be though. And those children have to be age appropriate, at least children from age 6 to 9 can be thought about Bitcoin, because they can be clarify as the younger once. And what you should be teaching them is the simple aspect of Bitcoin, like telling them that Bitcoin is a digital money and so on.

While, from age 10 and above can focus on learning the deeper topics, such as wallet, mining and risks. And teaching children about Bitcoin should be for educational purpose, and not for promotional purpose. Schools teaching children about Bitcoin should not encourage investing, the children should learn what bitcoin is and not be punished to buy it.

I must agree with the op for the first and second paragraph, the last one seems too difficult for a child besides why not hold the coins till the child is mature enough to store private information. The age matters also, viewing op didn’t mention an age number I will assume children between the adolescent and toddler group, personally I will advice you let these children be till they get to a proper age before determining their investment because bitcoin is not something playful other than the fact little children learn very fast if only they’re provided with written materials including alphabet and words teaching about bitcoin which is very rare.

At first, you did not mention the age gap, so I will assume it to be little kids, and by so doing, I do not see it ideal for little kids to be brought into bitcoin affairs, as they are yet to be able to comprehend what money is all about, not to talk of bitcoin that is a bit too advanced for them to comprehend. I will also agree with Fivestar4everMVP because at such age, what they need to know better is to learn  how to read and write so they can be able to comprehend thindg of their age at first before taking them into such so they do not loose focus on their academics.
