For gambling, I think gamblers could increase their bet amounts even while the games are live and that's besides betting more than once, using different strategies, whereas for lottery players they may spend only less that amount and it would be just to get the lottery ticket, but the lucky winner could earn more in wins as compared to a gamblers' , that may be dependent on the bet size they staked.
There's difference obvious in the frequency, the math behind picking winners and the illusion of having or being in control, remains to be seen.

Well, it gives hope to those who cling to a jackpot. In the past, I thought it was not wrong, but whenever I remember my grandfather, who doesn't miss a day of betting for the national lottery, I always want to compute how much money he wasted, and I do believe it's a lot.
It's wrong if you calculate it in the long run. That money could've bought a car or made a kid go to college and finish it. Years of betting in the lottery and nothing was won. Some wins will only pay for the last betting ticket, but that's it. No jackpot or anything.

On a sincere basis there's literally no difference between them what only differs is how they gamble not if they gamble. There isn't difference between them, because lottery is a category of gambling game. Gambling englobes every games where players stake money aiming to make profit over their predictions. Lottery has been quite popular in past decades, but not to the point of becoming a fever like sports betting and online gambling platforms which offer games like dice, slots and crash.

I kinda like the lottery even more than just playing on slots casino games where usually you are just going to lose quickly, I mean surely your just going to waste the money as well in lottery because the chances are just very low, It was very low that winning the jackpot was really impossible, but you could hope for a few combinations where you could win a considerable amount as well, but the best thing is, you can win life changing amount of money on lottery with just a cents of bet. There are big difference in playing 2 kind of gambling,
first is that lottery which we can win big time and once in a life time. 1 over a billion chance that we can get those numbers correctly but there is a very tiny chance that we cant take away.
Once we hit that, our life will change ALOT! There are many people taking the bet daily with the same patter and numbers hoping one day they will hit the jackpot of their lifetime. This is just a few bucks of our daily life.
We can watch once a day and take the chance to hit those digits.

Second is the slot machine in a casino or online, this is way different from the first one as we can see the result in just a blink and we can bet hundred or thousand times in just a short period of time.

Gotta play to get paid! That is the only way. I don't so much like the lotto tickets although I do like the ones where you can pick your own numbers but I will admit that I don't know how to keep track of all the random drawing times and know all the different types of bets you can do and I probably should have a better understanding I just don't care much for it. Now scratch off tickets are a thrill! Its like opening up a pokemon pack and hoping you get a hitter!
