That is a nice question to be honest. Sometimes we do not do what's the right thing to do but just do what we want to do.
Bankroll management is necessary though as it helps us play longer and sustains our profits.
It helps survive in the long run but then again, I think it's fine to get that thrill by betting whatever you want but only in rare occasions, so that it doesn't become a habit.

This is interesting one because they always talk about bankroll management and I'm sure that they are not sticking with it for a long time. You have actually made it clear to us that you are among the gamblers that don't usually stick with their bankroll which is actually good because most times we don't get the fun well when you are still in one place but immediately you increase it a little bit it will become more enjoyable so it makes sense when a gambler it's not hiding his feelings. If you have had a very bad experience with reckless gambling, you would learn to control your gambling activities. In my early years of gambling, I made some financial mistakes because of loss chasing and impatience. If you have used money that has been allotted to an important need for gambling and you went through serious mental pressure, you would embrace bankroll management.

For close to three years now, I have developed a strong resistance to the urge or temptations of loss chasing. I have a weekly or sometimes monthly gambling budget. And nothing will make me exceed the amount I have allocated. It doesnt get boring because the results of not following my plans is painful.

You are right.
It is not easy for someone to keep the rules of bankroll management for complete 6 months straight, it's way too hard to it based on different reasons. Although, it might be easy for someone gamblers based on another reason also.

Harder for a gambler who started gambling anyhow, who hasn't applied management skills to his gambling journey at all, this kind of gambler will feel strange when approaching bankroll management stuffs, it's going to boring to him because he hasn't encountered such before.

But a gambler who starts with bankroll management from the beginning of his gambling journey will never get tired, will never get bored too but improve in managing more and more.

If you are a really busy person who has a lot of things taking your time and attention away from gambling, you have a job, business, family, and hobbies keeping you from being too invested, sticking to a strict budget will be naturally achievable. Depending on the size of the bankroll, some people may not be able to exhaust it because of the limited time they have available to gamble. Yes, I am one of such people who sometimes uses below my budget.

However, what I have said above may not work for everyone, especially those who are regular gamblers who rely heavily on gambling profits for survival. To them, a budget may seem more like a limitation. What I am trying to say in essence is that, yea, some people actually manage their bankroll well.

How long you can last with gambling that you limit yourself by managing your bankroll depends on how well you control yourself. If you do not want to be frustrated by financial difficulties due to gambling, then you really must manage your bankroll. It does not ensure that you will win consistently in gambling, but it will be very good for your resilience against severe gambling addiction. But I suppose the way to manage a bankroll will be very difficult to apply to gamblers who are already addicted.

Even at the beginning of my gambling journey, I was not very serious about this matter and never followed the rules of gambling bankroll management, but later when I faced some unexpected incidents, I basically started setting a gambling bankroll and always tried to keep a minimum percentage of my monthly income fixed for it, which would not impact me in any other direction.

I stick to bankroll management, but there are times I get bored and feel like increasing it. Although I do increase it sometimes, not all the time. But even if you want to increase your bankroll it should be an amount of money you can afford to lose to avoid chasing after your losses. Because there is always a possibility that someone can increase his or her bankroll beyond what they can't afford to lose, and later start chasing losses. So whatever amount you decide to increase your bankroll to it should be within your financial capacity, don't go above want you can't afford to lose if not you will regret it.

Bankroll management doesn't always mean just keep tracking all your bets, how much you won and how much you lost and then how much you should bet on the next bet, it can be simple as know your risk tolerance and spend your money wisely.

Part-time gamblers would not have the bankroll management and they gamble what they have but foe the chronic gamblers who gamble daily might have it to maintain the bankroll but as you said it is hard to maintain that because many things would came up to destabilize your mind so it is not easy to maintain that. I'd love to say I stick to it, but the reality is, it gets boring, so there are times I just do what I want, but the important thing is, I don't go over the fixed budget I placed for my gambling session, as long as I do that, I don't really think there is nothing wrong with not fully following your own bankroll management.

It protects our money and helps get rid of financial stress. But in real life, there are no such too good and perfect gamblers. The bankroll management is the same thing as trying to gamble with what you have in your bankroll so you don't need to be making extra deposits for you to be betting again every time. This is part of the risk management gamblers need to keep up managing to reduce the possiblity of gambling everytime. Everything can be regulated and this is something that is left to gamblers to make sure they regulate how often they try to make money from gambling so they don't clear there bankroll at the process.

On the contrary, in the early stages of having a capital control plan or setting a limit, it is rarely possible to control it because we still have bad habits that are carried over from previous gambling activities that are arbitrary.
If it has been going on for a long time, it actually gets better and better discipline in setting the budget, even to this day I still stick to my budget and consider it a legal provision that I cannot violate.
 
You should not look for satisfaction in gambling, the mindset in gambling should also be adjusted so that you can be responsible properly.

I have never used any bankroll management before, I have never applied it before, and I have never done any calculation to see the perfect amount to use for each stake before (probably did it during my early days). All that stuff sounds like "work", and it takes away the whole fun and entertainment that I am supposed to get from gambling. If I wanted a lecture on accounting, I would have registered for a Coursera course. I didn't go to my gambling to do that boring stuff.

Personally, I don't feel bored or have no challenges at all when I manage to maintain my capital limits in gambling, but in my case, I still tend to be greedy, wanting to play longer or wanting to win more profits, this happens when I play slots, because maybe I can go weeks without playing, but when I want to play, I can be very careless by making several deposits that go beyond the limits. Fortunately, this does not happen in betting.
