Is having a fixed budget in gambling one way to avoid chasing losses?

I need to affirm this because a lot of people are wrong about the budget limit, they always say it's not a guarantee, basically yes because it will come back to yourself, but with it we know where our limits are which is where we have a gap of awareness when we have spent the money that has been budgeted, this will help in the long run to reduce our losses when we have started to discipline ourselves.

One of the major problem people face is that, when a person has money on his wallet without proper planning , it’s easy for the person to use it to bet. You may start small, and once you lose, you will try to recover losses at that point, you will start staking bigger bet. You're right, it's very hard to maintain a gambling budget especially when you're losing, you know  at that point you will just feel disorganized. I tried sticking to my gambling budget most of the times and I must say that it is not that easy unless I'm  losing and also wining back if not that I hardly stick to my gambling budget. Yes, but not sure if this is "one size fits all" strategy as what we have seen that many gamblers really fall for the love of risking it all even if they know or have a budget at hand. We even don't look at the amount of money that we have lost because we don't want to be affected mentality. Good for those who can control their emotions to work with a fix budget. But it's not for every base on what I have seen from others that have been in gambling for many years. Very hard to have that discipline in mind when we gamble and I will say that I'm one of those people. Who says that in the beginning I will just play with this amount but in the end, pushing to deposit for more to bounce back and recover.

If you feel that you can't control yourself because the next bet, would be the winning bet... yes this is the only solution.

That’s right, it’s one thing to have a plan in mind before you go to the casino, but it’s quite another what actually happens once you’re there. Though it’s not all bad. I’m pretty good at keeping my betting under control too, but I know far too many people who have one idea in mind before they start betting, and then lose all control.
