Is this load of Shit Posting acceptable on Bitcoin Talk?

I could not find a better Topic for this issue but this member Easteregg69 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=997839) has been really polluting the Forum for a while now and it at least feels like his burst of diarrhea is spreading so much faster on Topics now than it was weeks ago.  Today I finally put them on the Ignore list but God damn it, you can not even ignore the Replies any more, half of this Topic I was following is just their responses which do not even make any sense!  I see their Username everywhere.  The Replies are so bad I even questioned my sanity a couple days ago!

31 Replies and 14 out of them are theirs!  Talking about tomatoes, Jesus, Paul, grass, racial slurs, about their shit from this morning still being flushed, I know the 'Post Quality' is subjective according to theymos and for the most part I agree but this one is just diarrhea thrown all over all the Topics they enter!

But why are his replies not deleted, not just in the mentioned thread, but in other places which I can find the users actively engaging in? I have reported a few of the comments before, but they are always unhandled, but it's pretty much obvious how what they shares or talks about have extremely nothing related to the topic, if they are all off-topic while are moderators still letting it unhandled.

It's quite difficult to delete his posts. They don't get deleted. I stopped reporting him .

I had and still have this spammer on my ignore list, especially because of his mostly completely off-topic nonsense blabbering as if it were delirious. I call this annoying entity simply "it", it doesn't deserve anything better. Pain in the forum's arse or ours.

I can't look further but the last four reports I did for it, got handled "good" and its nonsense deleted or maybe merged if it posted consecutive shit violating rule #32.

If I stumble over its nonsense, I report it in the hope that maybe some moderator will get annoyed enough to issue a temporary ban. But his spamming would justify a permanent ban meanwhile in my opinion. Yes, it will come back but then it will be ban evasion and likely a quicker ban delivered.

Still such a waste of time to deal with such a moron.

I just reported a post of his in the bitcoin discussion board. I was amazed at the gross off topic. Like the post didn't even contain 1% of what was discussed. I decided to check the post history later today until I stumbled on this topic.

If a clear action is taken, today might be the last day of the user's existence in the forum.

The "buffoons" got me hahaha. Plebs that would rather die than change their ways. Do we have to blame them? They were all raised with a misconception about the forum. "To survive, make plenty of relatable post. With the numbers, they'll totally lose focus on the quality". 14 post on a single topic is wild fr! I don't even want to clog my brain up by reading any shit thread right now.

Not the first time I'm seeing such a spammer, such accounts frequently enter the forum, spam a shit ton of posts and then either disappear, or get banned. This is likely one of the worst cases I've seen, but reporting their posts seems to be enough to get their posts deleted, but apart from that, usually no other repercussions take place if the account isn't brand new/newbie. In such cases where the account is ranked up, they simply rack up neutral and negative feedback.

I stopped reporting his spam a while ago and have him on ignore now, but man, I havent seen so much shitposting in a long time.
 
Its honestly impressive how one person can be so consistently useless and annoying.  I might start reporting his posts again, but man, it feels like a full-time job just cleaning up after this moron.

The fact that he could post after his own post without another users post interfering between his post and still post on the sane thread not quoting nor responding to someone but posting like he has never seen the thread is what is more annoying. Basically I know post like that are always merged but however his might not be merged because they might be stating totally different things lol. Well since op you brought this up maybe the needed attention will be accorded.

Making it almost into the top 100 of deleted posts is quite an achievement, lol.

In the end, if the moderators don’t take action against the account (even if they delete some of the posts), there’s no choice but to add them to the ignore list. Forums attract weirdos who don’t have much else to do with their lives and enjoy getting on the nerves of people who just want to contribute honestly. With them, the best thing to do is ignore them.

Your statement makes a lot of sense, I believe there are people who report some post that are already showing sighs of frustration with this spamming post, reporting to the moderator is an option, and there are also people who are tired of reporting such spamming posts, they can likewise just click on the ignore button so they wouldn’t be seeing there spamming posts, there are people who do this spamming probably because they’re not guided and they don’t read the instructions, more like some rules and regulations before posting, while some too are because they’re trying to meet up with quotas of posts from campaign, well there are other different reasons for spamming, reasons could be best explained by the individuals.

I have left a negative trust due the complete non-sense of each post. Literally, hust random text like tossing a dice and write random arguments.
I have also reported to moderators. Ignore isn't enough, thse users leave text with tags ...

Maybe this is a good time for a ban?
I don't like bans, but here its not matter of "freedom of speech" but also matter of respect for users that can't be aware immediately of the high level of troll posts.

This has been going on for years, and as things stand, it looks like it will continue - because if someone is not banned after having 300+ posts deleted, the question arises whether another 300 or 600 posts need to be deleted for something to happen. I also gave up on reporting his posts a long time ago, in this specific case the ignore option is the best solution.
