I probably shouldnt say this, but honestly, I have always seen NFTs as nothing more than a glorified game of "greater fool".  You see a 95% drop?  It just proves the so-called value was cooked up by hype and celebrity endorsements.  Most NFT projects are useless, and good luck finding any liquidity.  You buy one, you are likely stuck with it, because who is going to buy it off you? 

If you have some spare cash, dont throw it away chasing a fad thats already over.  Its just a bad investment, plain and simple.

I honestly think that they are probably coming back in same way that memecoins always do. Difference with collectables being the scarce and random liquidity. It's even worse then selling actual collectables online, because with them, you know you will always have some kind of markets to sell them to.

Then again, when bored apes were starting, people thought that buying them back then was insane, because even though they made lot of money for their owners, they were very expensive to buy right at the start.

And i sometimes wonder what that guy is thinking now, who rejected $9,5M dollars offer for his Crypto Punk NFT. At least those were free to acquire at the start, so they had a pretty good return of investment.

No, I do not think they are gone forever. The hype might be gone forever, or it might come back. Who knows?

But one thing I can say for sure is that collectible anything is always going to have some sort of value. Look at pokemon cards? Went from extremely popular to unpopular and now extremely popular again.

And if people are going to pay money for shiny strips of paper they are going to pay for NFTs...

That example of 5 ETH might also be lower in the soonest. The NFTs are no longer going to have any comeback.  There could be just a different scenario when it's done by a bigger company that we know of.

There is no comeback for NFTs. It's the same way memecoins like safemoon, Shiba Inu never made a comeback (even though Shiba has high Mcap). Those things flourished because in 2021 when NFTs had its season, it was just because the Feds was mega printing shit ton of money and there was too much liquidity flowing into nfts. Now, there's nothing like that anymore and that's why everyone is very careful about what they invest their money on.

NFTS will never ever make a comeback. The hype for NFT already faded since last years. Justin Bieber who bought 1 Bored Ape worth 2m, it's only worthy 20k USD right now. It's kinda stupid to expect this NFT can moon again caused by it has already released a token.

So no more speculation will be going around Bored Ape NFT.

You have ever seen it by yourself if it was going down 95% from ATH. How can you still think it's a good investment? The better to invest your money in a bluechip coin.

Investing your money in NFT is the same as wasting it. If you're still caring with your money so don't do it.

Find what's suitable where you can invest it your money but, you do you. If you can afford the losses you might take from that, we can't stop you.

That's a bad investment to make, buddy; don't take that risk. The chances of you losing money immediately if you end up buying any of the NFTs are higher than the chance of ever making a profit or seeing a buyer to rebuy at that purchase price. For the time being, there is no sign that NFTs will trend again; they are gone and now history, just like ICOs and other trending crypto stuff back in the day.

This alone is a proof that NFTs are dead already.

Imagine that drop of 95%? That's the same as a project where it just launched and after a few hours, it dropped massively to a point where it doesn't make any sense selling it anymore. That's what happened with Bored Apes, and those who invested in it? They lost massive amount of money and some are even regretting on their decisions right now.

I also invested in NFTs through Axie Infinity, and I have a bit of regret doing it, but it's fine since I enjoyed playing the game. My axies though are still in my account, and I'm not expecting too much about it in terms of it's selling price, but I'll just let it stay on my wallet. NFT market will still exists, but there will not be that much traction in it anymore unlike in 2022. You have some cash lying around? Better buy Bitcoin with it, and please, please don't put it on NFTs anymore. NFA of course.

NFT is dead and it's not getting back up. Everybody is busy doing their own stablecoin settlement layer and NFT is just a jpeg hosted online. Trust me you don't want to invest into it. To add more context, every big NFT market place is currently dying.
If you're insisting on investing into these NFT. Just be sure you're ready to lose your money. The demand was never that big in the first place.

It's really shitty. I think there was a time they tried to make it liquid and sellable like a token but it still didn't work because there always has to be another loser at the other side of the trade.

Investing in NFTs is very similar to taking cash outside, spraying fuel over it and lighting a match on it. Even BayC holders are in huge losses that they'll never recover from unless the feds print shit ton of money like they did in 2020 and that's not going to happen.

That was fractional NFT ownership through token, anyone can sell fractional ownership of big NFTs even when the liquidity is thin but it failed.

The downfall of NFT was well deserved because it was never designed for a long lasting economy from the first time NFT was a thing, its pretty much just jpegs.

With no offense, I am sorry to tell you that you can't imagine at what level you contradict yourself in the same context. You are asking opinions about an investment that has dropped by more than 95%. It's like you want community to prove you that it's a missing opportunity. Justin Bieber seems to look for someone to by his shit bored ape before it drops more. Do you want to be the next bored investor?

Personally, I have never believe in those NFTs as a mean of investment. At some point they acted like a pump & dump tokens, but later proven to be worthless the attention at all.

It's good you are following up and have had a rethink over what to invest in and what not to; if you want to invest in anything, just don't go for any trend which is already fading away. Try to run your research on some good altcoins which have good use cases. Maybe look into L2, as some are doing pretty well, or you can just invest in Bitcoin and save yourself the stress and risk.

Does such token worth 5 Ethereum? It is not worth 0.05 Ethereum, so the good news is that the price of 5 ETH is too high for such a token.
NFTs market saw its best years 4 years ago, so it is difficult to return to those peaks.
