Has bitcoin ever failed to reward long term investors?

Since bitcoin is a volatile asset then you can’t predict what it will be in the future do their is no certainty about it  the truth is if you are investing with the mindset of holding for a long time then you have a high chance of being in a better position, because you are rather focused on building up your assets than thinking about the possibility of it failing you.

I would say no bitcoin have never failed to reward long term investors because even when you have reached your desire target, a good investor can only chose to sell some part of his investment and still continue holding so with that he will only be selling at a favorable time.

Most people who say they lost money on Bitcoin were either trying to make quick profit or they were not careful about where they stored it, i can even bet alot of them probably just misplaced access to their money and lost faith in recovering it, like the people who actually sat down, bought and held their Bitcoin patiently and didn't panic during the dips, cause the dips mixed with online scams, that also made people to second guess "online money" but those who actually held are the ones who came out smiling. This exact pattern has repeated itself over and over in Bitcoin's history, I'm sure you can confirm it.

Exactly, I like the take profit without selling all your holding part . Many have that mindset of wanting to sell all their bitcoin after reaching their goal , there are principles you can apply when taken profit from bitcoin is for you to figure out which work for you the best .

Though taken full profit (like selling all your holding) won’t be a smart move because there will be a time when $100k will look the recent $10k range , a range that will hard bitcoin to fall back to . So you selling with the aim of buying back will only lead to purchasing at high prices.

Yeah investors who are patient enough to hold for a entire market circle, Bitcoin has never failed them, but impatient  and panic in selling and poor risk management are major reasons some investor fail, not Bitcoin itself.
Investor who bought at the market highest point and sold during a downtrend are likely to lost but investing through multiple circles historically recovers and make profit.
Bitcoin has rewarded long-term holders, and it works best when realistic expectations, proper security and patience are applied.

I have actually read the history of bitcoin, and how investors have been rewarded. When you invest in bitcoin for a period of 5-10 years, this is really a long term strategy, and I have not in person, heard any one complaining of being at loss within this period of years.

But when you find out very well, you will understand that these people who looses money on bitcoin are actually traders who seek for short term profit or people who store their Bitcoin in an exchange, and are affected by hackers or exchange failure.

Bitcoin has a bull circle, and historically bitcoin experiences new all time high in every bull season, and this trend has never changed in the history of bitcoin.

There are people who have actually failed investing in bitcoin. These people are impatient investors, they look for quick money from bitcoin, and are those people who are actually impatient with their investment.

Every genue investment reward investors on the long run, and this is actually what bitcoin does, and this brought about my question if Bitcoin has ever failed in rewarding patient investors?

With the history and growth of Bitcoin it is obvious that no one has lost in Bitcoin for holding for long or years because the difference between then and now is quite huge and it is a positive one not a negative one. And for your information I don't really consider 3 years of holding Bitcoin long because sometimes it can take Bitcoin a year or more to be consolidating and sometimes it can get to a new all time high and still Dip and start consolidating just as it is doing for some weeks or months now and as such long term should be between a period of 4 or 5 and above.

Bitcoin is always profitable in the long term but that depends on what your long term is. If your long term is 6 months - 1 year, you may not see significant returns on your investment. A more sustainable approach would be to hodl for 3-5 years, and if you aren’t able to hodl longer than that, you can sell at different ATHs in that timeframe.

That's the real truth about it, because being profitable in Bitcoin investment depends on how your plan yourself. Bitcoin has always rewarded patience and the more patience you become, the more rewarded you get but not withstanding, I have always heard the saying that, volatility is satoshis reward for patience and Is already very obvious that Bitcoin is always best valued and appreciated when we hold for much more longer period of time and personally, I haven't heard of anyone who already held the coin for a longer period of let's say above 5 years and didn't get rewarded.

3 years isn’t even long enough to be considered as long term. Long term should be at least one or two market cycles, and each market cycle is usually within the range or interval of every 4 years, which means we should be looking at the time horizon of around 5 to 10 years before we can confidently say that an investor has actually held bitcoin for long term.

You are absolutely correct, on a normal anyone who is investing for long term will surely come out with something but there are factors and criteria one ought to meet before they can get something in the long term. You can not be investing with a very little amount of money and yet not consistent and expect something in the future or In the long term though there will be an output but it will be very small based on what you input.
