In theory, the round numbers are all that can be divided by 10.  In practice, we all have experienced that 10 000 is more useful than 100 000 and 100 000 000 is more useful than 10 000 000.
To win the competition of "practical roundness" its number of zeros can not be a prime number at all, it has to be divided as many ways as possible and be as small as possible at the same time.
1 000 000 that is both square of 1000 and cube of 100 seems to have only one possible competitor in that usefulness - 1 000 000 000 000 but it is already too far from everyday working places.

The most round number is boob which becomes 45067 when we convert hexadecimal to base 10. We should therefore switch to hexadecimal just to make boob a number. 80085 is no substitute for 45067. And the best part is that 45067 is bringing back 67 which we all need.

45067 makes me feel good too but probably from another angle than you....  It is almost as good as 40 001

45067 should make you feel good from all angles. From above B, from the front oo, and from the side b, which spells Boob. Excuse me, I have to now pack up to move to Trenton, Ohio because the zip code there is 45067.

Vod figured this all out long ago. Look at any of his posts. He's been licking his boob since 1970. Grin

It looks round, but in practice it’s not really special beyond being visually clean.

Mathematically, “roundness” depends on the base system. In base 10, 1,000,000 is just
10
6
10
6
, so it’s neat and easy to read—but in many real-world contexts people prefer numbers like 1,000 or 10,000 because they’re more practical for estimation and scaling.

So yeah, it feels satisfying, but “most round” is more psychological than mathematical.

Yes, psychology is important factor here. And economics too.

It is interesting that you mentioned 1000....
