It looks like the voting for the proposal is officially live[1] and people are not liking it[2]. The wall street journal has also reported that World liberty finance has partneted with a company tied to sanctioned individuals[3][4].

Interesting. Everything "smells" like a scam to me. I'm confident the project will see its demise by the time tokens are unlocked. If Justin Sun doesn't win the lawsuit, you can bet he will be the first investor to "dump" all of his WLFI on the market. Better buy his own token (TRX), I guess. Much more "decentralized" than WLFI.

That will be hard for Justin Sun to dump his WLFI because all his WLFI is practically frozen and about to get burned if he loses the lawsuit. But yeah I agree, seeing how centralized WLFI is, TRX doesn't look as bad in this case even though TRX is one of those bad apples when we are talking about that topic .

And here's is another update, WLFI just announced they're suing Justin sun for defamation[1][2].

World Liberty alleged that Sun engaged in short-selling, straw purchases and defamation.

And this was Justin's response[3].

Wonder why waited until now to sue him (after he also filed a lawsuit) if they suspected he was doing to the price what they're claiming, on public launch.

WLFI knows well if they were so scummy. So they don't wanna start the war instead of waiting for Sun to create a statement can be stated as a "False statement" as the main reason to sue him. It can be used as weapon related to the reputational damage to sue him back.

However, the way they defamed sun is just confirming that if they are admitting their wrongdoing.

Sort of an update to this situation: HTX (which is owned by Justin) is now delisting USD1 (stablecoin backed by World liberty finance)[1]. Those who own the stablecoin will have their holdings converted to USDT instead.

I wonder how long it will be before he gets new charges or some sort of investigation if he continues to not play nice.  It just seems it's a matter of time before the SEC is weaponized against him as a form of retaliation or retribution.  I'm not necessarily a Justin Sun fan but he isn't wrong about this though.

Justin is not playing nice. So it's likely he'll get prosecuted by the US Dept. of Justice. Just like how the government did with former Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ) under the Biden administration. CZ decided to play nice in the end, and got a pardon (clemency) as a result of his "loyalty" (under the current administration).

Mr. Sun can either continue his lawsuit against WLFI, or change his mind. He will lose either way. Time will tell us what will be the fate of both Justin Sun and Trump's WLFI project.

To me he still is playing "nice" as he hasn't quite mashed his foot on the gas yet, but is upping the ante.  The minute he does mash his foot on the gas is when things will dramatically change.  I don't really believe CZ decided to play nice as he was boxed in and took a good deal, made a business decision.  Not taking the deal would have almost guaranteed him more time.  Also, he paid to play by helping build WLFI on the back end, securing his pardon.
