If you were on the official Discord server (https://discord.gg/EUDaFjVp2b), you'd know.
It was a "rain event". Basically a marketing/stress test (chain & explorers).

PoCC sent some 80 BTCX to all active addresses that had funds above some "dust level".

---

BTW, the number of Chinese nodes is now ~ 1000.

Maybe not the first blockchain, but certainly a blockchain Europe exports and China imports.  Wink

Node numbers per country as of today. Germany graph visualized. China growing again > 1000 nodes.

AND...

Meet Satchel 🎒

Satchel is a desktop app for trustless, peer-to-peer atomic swaps between BTCX (Bitcoin PoCX) and BTC — not an exchange. You hold your keys the whole way.

  • 🔑 Your keys, your coins — fully non-custodial; coins only ever move on-chain, directly between you and your counterparty.
    • 🤝 Atomic — the trade either completes for both sides or everyone refunds. No trusted middleman. (HTLC + Taproot/MuSig2 swaps.)
    • 📌 A noticeboard, not an order book — browse signed offers, pick one, swap. No matching engine, no KYC, no fees, no accounts.
    • 🤫 Or go private — skip the board entirely: hand a friend a signed "slip" over any chat, they paste it in and take it directly. Off-market, nothing public.
    • 🌐 Decentralized — public offers ride over Nostr, so there's no central server to trust or take down.
    • 🛠️ Full CLI on top — the GUI is a thin client over a daemon + command-line tool (bitcoin-core style: pactd / pact-cli). Drive every swap from the terminal, script it, run it headless.
    • 🖥️ Cross-platform desktop — Windows · Linux · macOS.
